I was warmly greeted by Nadeem at the front desk. I had called to see if the Hotel Shuttle was running at that late hour. Alas, it was not, but he provided advice about Uber and what doorway and signage. As travel weary as I was, he even described what the sign looked like. The wave of humidity with wearing a tight mask just hit me like a massive humid slap. With Nadeem's advice, I was able to stay indoors and look out to pick up spot. He made it easier for me. Uber driver was super, too. The Marriott Courtyard and its sister property Spring Hill Suites are very conveniently located. I had originally planned to spend one night, then fly to San Jose Costa Rica. Alas, I received a terse advisory from the airline that Costa Rica was imposing new restrictions due to Covid-19. Only Costa Rican citizens and permanent residents would be allowed to enter the country. Nadeem and Steven the manager really stepped up with useful advice and recommendations. The Bistro breakfast though a limited menu was fast and delicious. The use of the pool was a terrific idea, too. The pool is located next door at the Spring Hill Suites. The room was very comfortable. Microwave & fridge were in a funky cabinet. Keurig coffeemaker made both coffee and tea. I really liked the large glass shower with large glass and chrome barn door style door. Large tv had so many choices, too. I really appreciated all the extra effort and sage words of advice. It really took the sting out of the disappointments. Many times hotel stays fail due to an avalanche of many small things going awry. This Marriott Courtyard has attention to details: paper never ran out in the pc's printer; the gym had its equipment absolutely gleaming with plenty of individually packed ear buds (if needed), and even the little marketplace came thru for me as I could not find my toothpaste. Even as a long-time Marriott Rewards (now BonVoy) member, I was mightily impressed by my 3 day stay.

The Houston Airport Marriott is at...well..IAH. It is a simple tram ride without ever leaving the airport. The rooms are very large and well-appointed. We had two adjoining M-Club rooms for 4 adults and 3 kids during an overnight stop on a flight from the west coast to the Caribbean. The price was about $150 for each room and that provided a free made to order breakfast in the M-Club lounge. And that morning it was just hop on the tram and we were at the terminal. If you have to make a stop, this is the way to do it,

I stayed in this hotel during the week of 19th January for a workshop. Though this hotel is not best suited if you want to go around in Houston, but it can be an intersting choice. The hotel staff is very well trained and goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Special mention must be made of house keeping staff Irma Reyes who provided a refrigerator as soon as I made a request. All the staff in the Flights restaurent deserves a special mention. During breakfast and dinner they took care so that I enjoyed my meal and feel comfortable. It would be a tough choice next time to decide between a downton hotel or this Marriott simply because of the service. The hotel also has a complimentary shuttle to Deerbrook mall which helps in shopping. Overall a very happy experience.

We stayed here overnight during a layover between flights with my 4 and 6 year old daughters. Our flight came in late and the baggage took forever so I was really stressed about making the last tram to the hotel (it stops running at midnight). I was also quite stressed as we had some very large bags that we were going to have to put on a cart.
I called and spoke to the front desk and was told that if we missed the tram they would gladly come pick us up. I was also told we were more than welcome to bring our bags on the airport cart and they would check it into their luggage room. Phew!
We did end up making the last tram after seeing the hotel we probably could’ve pushed the cart there in the underground hallway. Check in was easy and they put our giant cart of luggage in their luggage room. Marcus also so generously gave us a voucher for breakfast that nearly covered the whole cost.
The only feedback I would have is change the beds to queen size, full size required my husband and I to each sleep with a child.
Breakfast from Flights was ordered via app and ready on time (they even called the room to tell us it was ready). The food was tasty.
Check out was quick and efficient and the lovely gentleman were so sweet with my little girls.
I would definitely stay here again with a layover of any length. This hotel is well run and so convenient.

I had a last minute flight from Houston back to the UK and it was leaving at 6am multiple stops when the Corona Virus finally made people say flights are limited,
The hotel sadly due to the Corona Issues could not have a restaurant service, and sadly take away was all i could get which was okay, pricey and just plain,
The room was big and clean however nothing on coffee or tea makers had all been taken away so bed and TV.
This for 186 USD was a little much,
Front desk was friendly and apologizing for the lack of services available.

Will stay again if all is open but at that price and no services I should have gone 2 mins down the road to the Ramada for 60 USD

I stayed at this hotel for one night in January 2020 and was quite disappointed by the quality of the rooms and the service. Based on my experience, this should be. Usd100-150 a night hotel, not usd300 I paid.

(1) When I walked up to the check in desk, two of the hotel workers were at the desk but both looked down, apparently busy with something on their computers, waiting for the other person to help me, Finally, one of them looked up and grudgingly helped check me in. I never understood why people do that and still want to work on the front desk: if you don’t enjoy greeting customers, you should not work on the front desk.

(2) The hotel is dated and worn. The rooms are quite dated and looked and smelled filthy, even if it may not actually be filthy. The shower was weak and all of the fixtures were old. The room was cold. I had to turn the heat up to 76F just to feel ‘normal.’ Very strange. The walls were thin. I could hear the music and the TV from the other rooms. I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. The bed was comfortable, though.

Of course I won’t stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are cheaper hotels that offer the same experience, and better hotels in this price bracket.

This Marriott is situated inside the IAH George Bush Intercontinental Airport and is accessible by tram or foot. The tram is a 5 minute ride from Terminal A.

The lobby area is pretty. It’s open and spacious and is across the restaurant and bar. Check in was efficient. I stayed at the south tower and even though the hotel is big, it wasn’t hard to navigate where you needed to go.

The room is a typical classic Marriott room. I’m not sure if it had a facelift but I didn’t care as the Marriott beds always please me! It is spacious and serves its purpose!

The gym is awesome! It’s huge and has peloton bikes, free weights, machines and other cardio equipment, towel and water.

The bar has great food and drinks! I just ordered a simple appetizer of shishito peppers and fruit for the night. They even gave me a complimentary bottled water (not sure if it’s because I’m Marriott Silver or is it because the peppers I ordered are extremely spicy ;) )

I like my experience here. And will be back. This hotel is perfect on a decent 12 hours and beyond layover especially if you’re arriving at the airport pretty late.

stayed Feb 14th before flying out to Miami the next morning. We have stayed here several times before since the renovation of the hotel. Nice accommodations.
The food at Flights is very good.
This hotel is not a good location if you are in Houston to tour the area, as others have said, you will need a car for that.
For getting a start on your vacation the next day, perfect location.
We were flying United out of terminal C. We rode the underground tram to Terminal C, easy peasy to get off and take the elevator to check-in.

i stayed here just after new years as i had a lay over there. proved very convenient as it gave me all the time to check in at the terminal the next morning. lovely room. internet wasnt free and not exactly cheap. i booked using booking.com and discovered at checkout the advertised rate did not include the various taxes making it much more expensive 30USD more. food was ok. staff very helpful.
not really worth the 200 a night before food and internet but to each there own.

New hotel near Houston airport. Booked room w ABF but breakfast serve by order at Starbucks coffee and hotel reception did not instruct how much credit allow each room & just order, mention room number then the charge will deduct,...

However We pay in cash and can't refund because no manager on duty!

Depending on the terminal you come in on. It may just be a 1500yd or 3400yd walk, brightly lit, other passengers around. Your flight might also be early. You could opt to pre arrange a golf cart to take you and your bags to the lobby? Worth asking about. If you're late it will wait for you
