Beautiful new hotel, only two years old.
Clean and modern. Attached to a very large shopping mall with a huge food court, many restaurants and upscale stores. Meeting rooms were easy to access. The breakfasts provided us at the meeting were delicious and included a hot egg dish. Would be happy to stay here again.

I had reserved two rooms at the Hyatt for 5 nights. I had requested the rooms be together or at least close, which wasn’t guaranteed. Upon arrival, the woman at the front desk, I believe her name was Octavia, made it her mission to fulfill my request (as well as get us into rooms ASAP as no rooms were ready upon our arrival) and she delivered. Hyatt- these are the people you need to hold onto for dear life. Some would say “give her a raise” but I say “promote her!” She immediately made me feel like a special guest (even though I only had two standard rooms) and left a lasting impression. She was sweet, poise, authentic, and made me feel confident in my hotel choice. She’s just incredible.

The hotel itself was really beautiful and clean and in a great location. Parking was free and easy. Being connected to the mall was a bonus for down time. Beds were comfy, the air worked perfectly in the room, and there was minimal noise (I only ever heard doors closing and never heard my neighbors).

We had one room overlooking the front of the hotel and one overlooking the back of the hotel and pool. I prefer the view out of the front of the hotel where there are more buildings to look at and thus lights at night.

I noticed two small areas that could use improvement. 1) The breakfast selection is lacking. The muffins in the cafe are good (staff there was amazing as well) and we ate at the restaurant one morning for breakfast but it was definitely overpriced for the quality and quantity of what you get. 2). It didn’t seem like anyone ever straightened up the pool area. It’s a great benefit for the hotel. However, looking down on it each day from my room, I realized it was never really “cleaned up.” Chairs and lounges were left disheveled and cabinet doors under the cabanas left open. I expected everything to be “reset” at least once daily but it never seemed to happen. It’s such a beautiful space that it was just a shame to see it left unattended to.

With that said, I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Especially if they continue to hire amazing people like Octavia to represent their brand. Would recommend 100%.

This was my 8th or so trip to Frisco, and first time staying at the new Hyatt Regency. It certainly didn’t disappoint. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the food was outstanding, and the location is unbeatable. With the hotel being connected to the mall, you don’t even need to leave the confines. There’s plenty of shops and restaurants to everyone’s liking.

The rooms were immaculate, with open- style closet rack, fridge, walk-in shower, and most importantly, dimmed, automatic lighting under the bed and vanity area in the bathroom. The blackout curtain is also big time for those needing an extra few minutes.

The weight room is also second to none. It has multiple treadmills, ellipticals and bikes, as well as free weights, and other stationary machines. The pool/ lounge area is also pristine. It has a few cabanas and even a little turf field for your fury friends.

Literally the only issue with the hotel was one ice machine in the whole building to service the guest rooms (4th floor)

All in all, I will most definitely be staying at the Hyatt regency during my next venture to Frisco!

This hotel is in an excellent location: close to the Dallas North Tollway and the Sam Rayburn Tollway. It shares a parking lot with Stonebriar Mall and hotel guests can access the mall from the lobby. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity as well.

My husband and I stayed here for one week. The room we had was very quiet, comfortable, and clean. When we checked in we were told housekeeping would clean the room every third day. We were also told to call the front desk if we needed housekeeping any other time. We checked in on a Saturday which would mean the room would be cleaned on the following Tuesday. That did not happen. We exchanged our dirty towels for clean ones, emptied our trash, and emptied the recycle bin ourselves on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. On Thursday morning I called the front desk and requested to have our sheets changed, new towels, and the trash to be picked up. I was told by the young woman at the front desk that we could not have that service that day but it could be done on Friday morning; she said we were supposed to call a day in advance. Well, that wasn't acceptable given we were on day five and the sheets were dirty. I saw two cleaning people in the hallway, each with a cart, and I asked them if one of them could change the sheets, take the trash, and give us clean towels. I was told that would happen by noon. Around 1:30 none of that had happened, so I asked a cleaning person next door if she could change our sheets and give us new towels. She did. Between 2:00 and 2:30 the woman who had said she would take care of our cleaning needs by noon showed up but we didn't need her by then.

None of the four treadmill TV's worked in the exercise facility.

The Copper and Steel Table and Bar in the hotel lobby were understaffed. The food at the Copper and Steel Table was very good but the chef couldn't, or didn't care to, coordinate two hot dishes on the same order. My hamburger was done about 15 minutes before my husband's chicken dish.

This hotel was a disappointment in that it was not consistent in its quality of services. I would recommend this place only to someone staying 2-3 nights. The front desk staff, in my opinion, could use some training in interfacing with hotel guests.

This hotel was very clean and attentive. I am allergic to animal dander and requested a room that could accommodate my needs. They went above and beyond to meet this request. This was only my second time staying at a Hyatt brand hotel but they have gained a customer for life. Many hotels fail with this simple request and they met all of my expectations. The staff were very friendly from the front desk staff to the restaurant and bar staff. It was just an overall great experience.

(and this is coming from a CPA.) This should have been a wonderful experience, but it fell short in so many ways. Michael at the front desk was welcoming and helpful and we were able to check in early. However, when we got to the room, my husband wanted to unpack, and that was when we became aware of the first annoying, cost-cutting "upgrade." There was no dresser. There was a closet rod with hangers, but no doors, and a shelf below that could accommodate one suitcase and 2 bottom drawers just above the floor. There were no luggage racks. We called the front desk, and they were able to scrounge up one luggage rack. The 2 drawers at floor level were totally unusable for anyone with a bad back. There was no pad and pen in the room, no alarm clock on the night tables, and the night table lamps were attached to the night tables, and did not direct light for reading in bed.
At 4 a.m,, my husband woke with a bad back, and I went looking for the ice machine on the floor. Couldn't find it, so I called the front desk. They said the ice machine was on the 4th floor. (We were on the 12th.) One ice machine for all your guests? Ridiculous!

We enjoyed the proximity to the Stonebriar Mall, with a bridge going from the front entrance to Nordstroms. It wasn't a covered walkway, which we thought was odd, since Texas has extreme heat in the summer and can get cold, icy and snowy in the winter. It wasn't until our second time in the mall, walking around the food court where there is a small carousel, that we noticed a small sign which said, "Hyatt Regency." There was actually a hallway leading to the back of the Hyatt's lobby. But there were no signs inside the hotel lobby which said, "Mall Entrance this way."

Finally, there were no hanging door signs for the housekeeper "Please clean this room." We requested daily service, but twice, when we returned to our room at 4 pm after being out from 8 am, the room hadn't been cleaned. The housekeeper cleaning cart was on our floor, and we had to track down the maid to get some additional supplies, since we wanted to take a nap and not get disturbed. The second time it happened (during a 4 day stay) we made sure the maid came in to clean our room.

Next time we visit our family in Frisco, we will look for someplace more comfortable to stay.

I'll be frank here: at too many hotels housekeeping is working against the clock and it definitely shows when you find surfaces unwiped, and hairs on the towels/washclothes and on the floors in rooms. But at high end hotels like Hyatt Regency's, they could afford to hire more housekeepers so that the ones on each floor can spend more time in each room to thoroughly clean them better. I bring my own disinfectant wipes because I know better than to trust housekeeping and I'm proven right every single time.

Stayed here one night with two kids. We wanted to be close to the mall for convenience and not to have to go outside in the Dallas heat. Was satisfied with everything in the hotel but it's the service that went above and beyond. We had some reusable Starbucks cups that we needed cleaning, Amy at guest services came to our room and took the cups to clean them and bring them back within 10mins. Very sweet of her to take such good care of us.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel for my son’s gymnastics meet at the Ford Center. Location was perfect, about 5 mins away. The hotel is connected to Stonebriar Mall which made it very convenient. Staff was amazing! We arrived at 1am (I called to let them know I would arrive late) & requested adjoining rooms since I booked 2. As promised our rooms were waiting for us and the front desk agent was a gem! Rooms were comfy and the complimentary waters for being a Hyatt member was a life saver! I also loved the extra touch in my room, a toothbrush and toothpaste was in my bathroom. Overall couldn’t be happier with our stay. Location is huge! Connected to the mall & all other eats & shopping within a mile radius. Highly recommend!!!

This was a special occasion. We booked this particular hotel for its location and for the fact that it advertised room service, in room movies and breakfast buffet. Upon arrival we were told there was no room service and no breakfast buffet. We had to order food delivery. In room movies seem to be offline as well. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and clean. I paid for an upgrade to a suite, but the suite shown in the photo of the upgrade was not the one we received. It showed a corner suite with windows on two sides. We did get a corner suite, but only the usual hotel room window. We requested a late check-out, but were denied, stating that they had already used up all of their check-outs. Breakfast was stated in the loyalty app to be served until noon. But it is now grab and go and finishes at 10am, even on weekends. The food from their market was awful and stone cold even though we requested it to be heated up.
