At Virgin Hotels Nashville, guests celebrate the attentive service and unique amenities such as a funky library and a rooftop pool, although some are put off by the additional fees. The hotel's midtown location is a hit for offering both accessibility to attractions and a tranquil environment. The vibrant and eclectic atmosphere, with modern decor and live music, contributes to a fun vibe, while the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas is generally applauded. However, some reviewers point out occasional lapses in housekeeping and feel that the value doesn't quite match the costs, particularly with pricey parking.

Virgin Hotel was all I hoped it would be. I came on a Girls Trip with my coworker to enjoy the last week of summer (for two elementary school teachers in our 40s with children) and it did not disappoint. Ive wanted to stay at a Virgin Hotel since I attended a party at the Dallas Location in December 2022. From the minute we stepped out of the Uber a spunky dressed black guy with short hair and a red heart button down hopped right too and made us feel welcome- took our bags, took our picture and placed us in the hands of the front desk. I have to rewind and say we also got excellent care over the phone from Kara about booking the hotel prior to our stay and was eager to thank her in person once we arrived but she had to return to school/college the day before and we weren't able to meet her.
Checkin was rather smooth- although I was told i would have to pay a deposit and amenity fee which was shown in my receipt as being paid but they took care of it. The other clerk had the same name as I-Samira and was in great spirits. The other clerk emailed a list of places we could try in Nashville which we did- thanks.
We walked into our room and nearly gagged- the decor was on point- the hints of red and beautifully decorated room was far more than we expected. I sat on the bed and sank into it - knowing I would get a great nights sleep. The tv was clear and had a great selection of channels.
We were told the hotel bar downstairs made the best drinks in Nashville and it hands down had the best margarita of the trip. There were plenty of places for photo opps and we took full advantage.
The pool was the only downfall- it was a bit small but had good music, and good atmosphere but was way too crowded.
I would give the hotel a 9/10 and would love to stay again!

We were in town for NYE and I booked this room through my Cap One travel portal as it was listed as a premium collection hotel. We appreciated the $100 credit and $30pp/pd breakfast credit that came with the booking. We were looking forward to spending NYE at the hotel as we understand that there would be an event and figured as guests we would be able to partake but at almost $400-$500 for 2 ppl that was not an option which was fine but we were more so disappointed that the whole hotel shut down to guests who opted not to partake so we couldn’t get any food dine in or even have drinks prior to the event starting. While I understand it’s a big money making night I still paid a premium charge for nye stay and had no access to any of the amenities that made me book the hotel in the first place. There should have been an option to guests to at least have access to 1 bar with tapas for purchase for nye to enjoy and celebrate as well. But Bianca, Ray, and Dustin were very helpful and we would come back just not for NYE. To add The location is about 25 minute walk to broadway so the walk wasn’t bad at all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m glad to hear that you appreciated the perks that came with your Capital One booking and that Bianca, Ray, and Dustin made a positive impact on your stay—we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to them! That said, I completely understand your frustration with the NYE experience. While it’s a big night for the hotel, we never want our guests to feel like they’re missing out on the amenities that brought them here in the first place. Your suggestion about keeping at least one bar open with tapas for guests who aren’t attending the main event is truly valuable, and I’ll be sharing this feedback with our team to explore better options for the future. We’d love the opportunity to welcome you back for another stay—perhaps on a less hectic occasion—so you can fully enjoy everything Virgin Hotels Nashville has to offer. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback! Best, Venantius Beard Director of Operations Virgin Hotels Nashville

It sounds like you had a fantastic stay! The combination of a great location, stylish decor, and a quiet, comfortable room can really make a trip special. The spacious shower setup sounds like a great convenience, and live music in the lobby must have added such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. So glad to hear you enjoyed it so much that you’d return—those are the best kinds of trips!

Initially checking into the room everything looked clean and polished. After going out for a night and waking up we realized once we pulled over the sliding door that there was a rather suspicious looking white stain at about hip level (looked like a cum stain on a mirror). We went down and asked if the mirror could be cleaned because this was disgusting. The team said that they would send someone up immediately. We went to the gym for about 2 hours got coffee and such and when we returned nothing was cleaned yet. I said okay we’ll shower up and go somewhere. Once we returned 4ish hours later the bed was fixed but nothing else including the mirror was cleaned. At this point I was very upset so I cleaned it myself with a makeup wipe because I didn’t want to see it since I kept thinking about what else could have not been cleaned in the room. While the staff did give us a $100 drink and food credit I still find this wasn’t enough. Our room also did not have a working phone which didn’t allow us to call for room service or ask for things when we needed them. Additionally the cleaning service knocked multiple times on my door while the do not disturb sign was on. Once they nearly walked in on me while I was fully naked and the do not disturb sign was on. On our 2nd day out of 3 the room service also knocked on my door at 10am and was surprised when I answered and asked if we were checking out. No I was not checking out a day early. Additionally the cleaning staff was very loud when cleaning out rooms around 9:30-10am when checkout is at 12. There music was blasting through the hallways.

We planned an active holiday
Up early out walking e-biking and exploring
We were disappointed when twice we arrived back in the afternoon to rest and clean up for an evening out and our room was not cleaned
When we asked they advised us housekeeping had until 6 pm to do room service!
If you want to make sure your room is serviced call the front desk when going out
Our TV broke while we were here which can happen but when we let the front desk know they didn’t arrange for someone to repair/replace it until we called them again when we returned later in the day-then we had to leave while it was replaced
There were no robes in our room
When we asked about same they said “it’s on request” so we requested and we never did get robes
Staff at the front are friendly
The front lobby is a nice place to gather after a long day out in the sun for a cold drink -the happy hour menu was just ok
It was expensive for me-over $500 a night and it just didn’t translate to anything special
When we asked for a late check out the day before we leaves they said to call at 730 after they had time to coordinate with housekeeping. We called at 725 and were told someone bought out all of the late check outs! Someone else we knew was staying at the same location-she called at 715 and was given a late check out!?
I liked the location and the overall vibe but will look for something else next time
Just wasn’t anything special
Erin and Liz

Thank you, Erin and Liz, for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly appreciate hearing about both the positive aspects of your stay and the areas where we fell short of your expectations. It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the location, friendly staff, and found the front lobby to be a nice spot to relax after your active days. That said, we’re very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with housekeeping, your TV, and the robes. We understand how frustrating it must have been to come back from a day of activities only to find your room not serviced and to experience delays with the TV repair. We sincerely apologize for these inconveniences, and we’ll work on improving communication and ensuring requests are addressed promptly in the future. We’re also sorry that your request for a late check-out wasn’t honored as you hoped. It’s disappointing to hear about the inconsistency, and we’ll review this process to make sure it’s managed more fairly. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to provide better experiences for all our guests. While we’re sorry that we didn’t deliver the special stay you were expecting, we hope you’ll reconsider visiting us again in the future. Thank you again for your honesty.

I was double-charged for the room, charged for the "free" room upgrade, and parking will run you $55/night + tip if you don't want your car to be broken into.

The decor was nice, though. The food/drink selection in the Commons is to die for, and the Pool Club is a magnificent place to spend an afternoon.

In essence.. the best things about this place are accessible without a room key. That's what I would recommend.

Hotel charges a resort and daily incidental fee everyday you stay. These fees are $184 a day over and above what you pay for the room ($250) a day. Supposedly you will $150 per day back, but it will drain your account. The bar is very expensive. One of my peers bought 2 glasses of wine and it cost $48. I stayed in December 2024 and it was about 27 degrees outside. My room was very cold. You had to adjust the thermostat via the television. I would set the room up from the 68 degrees it was set for to 73. Then a little while later it would get cold again. I would check and they have it set to return to 68 degrees a short while later. This made for a very uncomfortable 1st night. All the lighting is on timers so if you do not move once and a while they will shut off. Not a big deal until you try to get up to go to the restroom. There is some kind of facade on one corner of the bed which you cannot miss. I hit my knee several times and stub my toe, as well. I would rate this hotel a "1" but the staff were nice a nd tried to be helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your stay with us in December. I want to sincerely apologize for the challenges you faced and assure you that your experience is not reflective of the standard we aim to uphold at Virgin Hotel Nashville. I regret the discomfort caused by the thermostat resetting and the lighting timers. Restful nights and a seamless room experience are fundamental, especially in colder weather, and I understand how frustrating this must have been. I will personally ensure our team investigates these issues and works on better solutions for our guests. The additional fees and bar pricing you mentioned are also areas where we strive to maintain transparency and value. I’m sorry if these were not communicated clearly during your booking process. Your feedback will be shared with our management team as we continue to review our pricing and policies to better meet our guests’ expectations. I also want to acknowledge the challenges with the room’s layout and furnishings. The last thing we want is for our design to cause inconvenience or discomfort, and we will consider your comments as we evaluate potential improvements. While I’m pleased that our staff left a positive impression, I know this doesn’t offset the frustrations you encountered. If there is anything I can do to assist or if you’re willing to give us another opportunity in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at [contact information]. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. Your feedback helps us grow and improve. Warm regards, Venantius Beard Director of Operations Virgin Hotel Nashville

We loved this hotel! It's pretty central to everything in Nashville. The staff were amazing, the bed was so comfy, and the rooms were awesome. I really like the barn door separating the bedroom from the closet/getting ready/bathroom area and the fact that the sink, toilet, and shower were all in their own separate room. The only thing that was weird was the bathroom door doesn't fully close.

Great experience at Virgin Hotel Nashville.

From the time we pulled up to the valet to the time we checked out.  We were well taken care of from start to finish.

Our room was definitely Quiet, we didn’t hear any noise whatsoever.   We didn’t hear Street noise or any noise from inside of the building.
My wife is mobility challenged so we booked a handicapped accessible room.
Our only concern was the rug that was under the bed, it is a trip hazard.   We pushed the rug up underneath the bed as much as we could, it was only an issue during the night.  The handicapped bathroom definitely had grab bars on the walls but the shower chair was a bit too low.   Overall it was good though.

We had dinner at the Commons club restaurant on the main floor of the hotel.
Our server was Cody and he took Great care of us.  Really enjoyed our meal, I ordered the Salmon and my wife had the Grain bowl with a pork chop. Everything was delicious!

Check out was easy, I just used the Virgin hotel app to click on the check out button.

The valet was a great help getting our luggage put away while I helped my wife get in the car!

The hotel is nice and modern, however we was not informed of the resort fees before coming here. This charge is just precautionary in case you order anything and charge it to your room or eat from the mini bar (we did not do this during our stay). We were charged $650 for 5 nights, taken at check in and told we would be refunded when checking out, we checked out over a week ago and still do not have the money back.
I have tried contacting the hotel manager Philip twice and have had no response.

For this reason, I do not recommend this hotel.

Dear V1601PBemmao, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration you've experienced during your stay. We understand how concerning it can be to still have an authorization for the hotel on your account, especially for such a large amount. Regarding the $650 charge, this amount is indeed a hold placed for incidental expenses, and it was released promptly after checkout. We release them same day however in this case there was a system error resulting in your authorization continuing to hold. I have manually released these funds on our end, and you should see the authorization clear by mid next week. Please accept our sincerest apologies regarding the delayed response as we needed some time to investigate this issue. We are truly sorry for the frustration caused and hope to have the opportunity to restore your confidence in us in the future. Warm regards, Venantius Beard Director of Operations
