Up signing in we were going to get a superior room when we booked the spa suite. Was only rectified when I mentioned we booked spa suite. They said they will prioritize the room to get ready at 1.30pm and will only take few minutes. We waited until 2pm and they said fee more minutes. But it was 30 minutes and checked in 2.40pm... this is unacceptable especially when you have 2 young children with you. There was no cot prepared and the things that I mentioned with the manager that was communicating with me days prior the check in. It was our first time to stay Abdul maybe they kast. I’ve been a member of Accor for 10 years and this is by far at the worst customer service I’ve received. The redeeming factor was the seafood buffet and Henry who was the breakfast buffet manager. The hotel should update the pictures on the website because you don’t knew whatnot to expect.

Had a pleasant stay here overall. Hotel was overall pretty old, however refurbishments are underway. My request to be assigned a refurbished suite was given. Would like to thank Stephaine, Nieve and Chelsea from Front Office for accommodating my request. I booked a Spa Suite, however upon checking in, I felt the suite wasn't as bright and spacious, thus I did a paid upgrade to a Balcony suite which was so much nicer. Really loved that suite alot. Service at the hotel was pretty good overall, both Front Office and restaurant service was good, however bar service wasn't as friendly. Room service was a hit and miss in terms of quality of food.
I do like that the restaurant has a separate area at breakfast for ALL members which makes it slightly more special for members. Location of hotel is good as the beach js directly opposite which good view over Botany Bay. Also, do wake up early for a good sunrise view. Overall, a good stay and would recommend if you get a refurbished room.

Some of the reviews I read prior to arriving were mixed, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect on my visit (work trip). I booked a Superior King Ocean View room which was on the 11th floor. It was beautiful! Separate lounge area upon entering, separate toilet and bathroom - the bathroom included a spa. The room was refurbished and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice, crisp, clean linen. I had a gorgeous view toward the city and out across the water. The airport runway is opposite (across the water) but the noise did not impact my stay or sleep. (and I sleep lightly). There was slight musty smell upon returning to the room after a day out, but nothing that opening the balcony door up didn’t fix.
I was at a 3 day work conference and the catering was excellent. We were very well looked after. Bar Lvl 3 had a great vibe for after work drinks and David’s service there was excellent.
Lots and lots of food choices within close walking distance.
Overall, highly recommend based on the room that I stayed in.

My family and I always enjoy the exceptional services provided from both Chelsea & her FOH Team and Ljupche & Baygarden Restaurant Staff. My family was always looked after well even our baby girl enjoyed the kids activities that Chelsea had running.
At one stage when we were at the Restaurant, it was so amazing to see that even the big bosses got in there and helped them out during a busy weekend breakfast service. Something that is honestly missing from most companies now days, but so lovely to see that Novotel Brighten Beach still value the essence of rolling up your sleeves and helping out even if you are from upper Management. So big ups to you all, keep up the great work.
Thank you as well to the cleaning staff that always made sure that Room 1210 was vacuum daily and the best made and sheets changed every 3 days. This was greatly appreciated as we had a little toddler who has discovered the beauty of crawling and only wanted to be on the floor.
Again thank you so much to all your staff, sorry I didn't catch all the names, but a few such as Stef and Nev for making my family feel more than just a number to fill the rooms and keeping your doors open. I will always appreciate the exceptional service you all provide. And because of that reason I will always be back with my family and continue with my Accor Membership.

Booked 2 king rooms, we were given newly refurbished rooms on the 10th floor, very comfortable beds & pillows.
All staff from reception, restaurant, housekeeping were extremely obliging, helpful & friendly, can not speak highly enough of all that staff we encountered.
Would definitely stay here again.

The 2 bed room with separate lounge family room that we stayed for the first week of January 2020 was the worst accomodation that I ever had in my life.
Smell so bad with damped carpet, water leakage from the air condition and old and discoloured carpet and sofar. The advertising and the actual accomodation was only matching with the number of rooms and the beds but not the condition of the rooms at all.
When I made a complain to the staff, first thing they said to me was "why didn't you tell us before??" Blamed me for not complained earlier. No apology, no emotional support. They offered me a newly renovated rooms after a long conversation for a last night which was 4 star level. When I asked for the compensation for the past three nights they offered me 25% of discount for the 3 nights I stayed in the room. That was only after three different meetings (during my family holiday time). Even if they offer me the room for free, I would not wast my family holiday in such a poor condition.
Very disappointed Novotel!

I recently stayed at Novotel Brighton Le Sands. It was my third stay in the past year - all during the COVID crisis. I keep returning to this hotel as it offers me everything I need for a break away from my home environment in inner western Sydney - clean, spacious room, balcony with views to the beach and towards the Airport, a great restaurant serving tasty meals, close to the shops and beach plus the convenience of parking which, as an Accor Plus member, is complimentary. The staff are very friendly and nothing is a problem for them. It was pleasing to see that buffet breakfast resumed on my last morning. Covid measures are still in place - you select what you want and a member of staff puts it on your plate. Although not far from the Airport the noise of planes taking off and landing is not significant. I am sure to return to this hotel again and again.

We really enjoyed our stay. While I didn't request an ocean view room, we did still have a view to the south which included a strip of beach. We had one of the renovated rooms and it was very comfortable and a nice place to spend our time. The windows were double glazed, so if there was any noise outside, we certainly didn't hear it. The beds were super comfortable and we really appreciated having both a bath and a shower in the bathroom and the huge fluffy towels.
All the staff I had contact with were exceedingly helpful and friendly. The location is excellent - we stayed because of the proximity to Sydney airport and the city, while still being in an attractive location.
The area immediately around the hotel is quite vibrant without being pretentious, there are lots of excellent restaurants and there is a supermarket close by. The hotel is just across the road from the beach, where you can walk for miles.
The hotel is being renovated, so there are some facilities that are not available at the moment (eg the pool). And it means there are obvious building works and scaffolding. It didn't bother us and when the hotel is finished it will be amazing, but staying somewhere which is currently being renovated may be off putting for some.

I was very disappointed with our stay. Bayside spa suite with balcony, for the price it was average. The toilet was a linen closet and the spa could only Fit 1 person. You could barely fit on the balcony considering the beautiful view. The freezer part of the fridge didn’t work. No Foxtel movies only a few channels. Very run down needs a lot of work. The reception was beautiful and Their staff We’re very pleasant.

I have planned to visit Sydney with my 88 years old mom in Mar. However due to the Novel Coronavirus I have to cancel the trip. I haven't stayed at Novotel Brighton Le Sands since Christmas so I am not sure of current indoor pool arrangements.

Unfortunately our hotel indoor pool and steam room are currently still under maintenance.
Hi, our outdoor pool is not heated, however our indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi are heated. However, currently our indoor pool is being re-tiled. Our breakfast was formerly a buffet-style, but is currently an a la carte offering, due to COVID-19 restrictions in place.
