Detailed Reviews
Just returned from a 3 night stay in the caravan at Tal y Foel Farm. What a stunning place! The caravan was spotless and so peaceful & private. An excellent base to explore the island or even just sit for hours & soak up the view! The private paddock is a bonus and enabled our dog to mooch about safely. Would also be ideal for young children to play safely with plenty of room. Hope to return and take advantage of the riding stables next door next time. If you like peace & quiet in a beautiful rural setting then I can highly recommend this place. Thankyou Judy for sharing your corner of paradise!

It's like stepping out of the chaotic world and into a peaceful island of tranquillity. The location is simply amazing. Next door is a wonderful riding centre, in front is the beautiful view of Caernafon Castle with the backdrop of Snowdonian mountain range. And the views change with the light of the day. The sea is right there in front of the garden, only separated by a narrow road and wall. I was able to read a book in the conservatory whilst the kids went crabbing on the beach. The thing I most liked about this place was the feeling of space. From the very spacious family room, to the conservatory, to the various outdoor seating areas and the absence of cars.
The hosts Judy and Lewis are wonderful. Very interesting conversations and just lovely people. Very caring and wishing to make your stay the best. Linda was also so hospitable and willing to offer lots of advice.
We stayed three night but I wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfasts were delicious. They were very happy for us to bring back food in the evening and provide crockery, cutlery and glasses.
We will return and have another refreshing stay of feeling so looked after and near nature.

I highly recommend this beautiful B&B. It has the most breathtaking views towards Caernafon castle across the Menai Strait. The rooms are really comfortable - best bed slept on in ages, plush towels, high powered showers, and whirlpool baths. The location is perfect for horse riding, walking on well labelled trails, and strolling by the shore (right in front of the house!). The breakfasts were delicious (a special treat was Judy's rhubarb stew). And the hosts, Judy and Lewis were extremely friendly, engaging, hospitable, and kind. They are world travellers themselves and do very interesting work both locally and globally. All in all, the place to stay in Anglessey.

We had a lovely two night stay at Tal y Foel in a family room. The hosts were very welcoming, the bedroom very clean and homely with an en-suite bathroom and power shower. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, a tv and hairdryer. The house is right on the coast with an amazing view of Caernarfon Castle on the opposite shore. The cooked breakfast was amazing with a huge choice of items. Fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal and toast were also available.
The b&b is close to the Anglesey Riding Centre.
It is also dog friendly.

This lovely house is right at the very end of a lane which can be found by following the signs to the Anglesey Riding School which is next door. It is right at the very edge of the water in the Menai Strait, the opposite end of the Strait from the famous bridge and has great views of all the boats etc.and across to the mainland including Caernarfon Castle. The owners, Lewis and Judy are very welcoming. The house is clean, our bedroom was lovely and the breakfast is plentiful. One has to drive about 7 miles to find a restaurant or pub for dinner. One had closed at 6pm! but the one opposite was open. We found that most people in Anglesey ate dinner at lunchtime but hotels had restaurants which were open to the public in the evening. One tip - It is well worth visiting the Sea Zoo where they breed seahorses and many other sea creatures are on view in aquariums, ponds, etc. The road is well signposted and it opens at 10am.

This is the first review I have written of a place that I've never actually been to. It is also the first negative review too- writing like this doesn't sit easy with me, but I felt compelled. For anyone interested in staying here, I have rated rooms etc on here as I had to but this are a work of fiction as our stay was never to be.
In a nutshell, our stay was cancelled a week before we due to travel, without seeking our permission to do so. A query about reducing the number of nights led to the owner taking it upon herself to cancel our booking (this was never suggested by us- the request to change the booking was merely a query!) and rebooking it out to another family in the interim.
This has left us very disappointed and unable to find anywhere for the bank holiday weekend within our budget. Try explaining this to a 5 and 2 year old
It was only afterwards, once the finally responded to let us know of the error, that I wondered why we had been cancelled and not the later booking? Surely, the booking was ours? The second booking was made in error?
Anyway, basically your booking is never confirmed. Blaming a broken phone for not receiving emails or calls is no way to run a business! If you book, keep checking they're still expecting you as anything can happen!

AMAZING! This place is amazing. From the operators Judy and Lewis to the view. The rooms are spacious and comfortable we stayed in the family room and had ample space for the 4 of us. The breakfasts were great and so was the riding school next door. Thank you Judy for arranging a ride for the boys. They are still talking about it! Thank you also for your great advice on what to do in the area with our boys. I really hope we manage to make it back there again. Please also pass on our thanks to Leanne :-)
