Great character and impressive cabin style bedroom with a great view out into the shop pyramid. Cheeky to charge for overnight parking though when you aren’t charged to park there for shopping during the day. No option for any food when we arrived at 9pm.

Hotel's Favourite
We love the big cypress lodge because it’s located right next to the interstate and has most beautiful rooms in Memphis. We have a store in Texas so we travel in between Houston and Nashville monthly and it’s always a treat to stop over and stay at the big Cypress Lodge. It’s the only hotel in Memphis that has big beautiful oversized bathrooms with oversize bathtubs. The rooms are quiet comfortable and decorated in Adirondack style. We enjoy all the amenities that the hotel has to offer like a firing range, lodge bar, shopping and much more.

We had a quick overnight trip to take my daughter to the zoo and to see the Lion King performance at the Orpheum so we stayed at the Big Cypress Lodge for the night. Our stay could not have been any better and it started off perfectly because of our wonderful bellhop, Jeffrey! He took the time to not only help us with our bags, but insisted he was going to come inside the room and unload the luggage for us. He then took a few minutes to walk us around and show us all of the amenities in the room. He made sure we had plenty of bottled water and brought us some extra hot chocolate! I would highly recommend staying here, and you’ll be extra taken care of if Jeffrey is working when you do!

The Big Cypress Lodge is a wonderful experience by itself but what truly set it apart was the exceptional service my sister and I received from Jeffrey. I couldn't even tell you his title because he truly went above and beyond with every need we had. Bellman, shuttle driver, evening warm cookie bringer. He made us feel welcome and treated us like family. He helped to make this trip truly unforgettable. Thank you Big Cypress Lodge for employing THE BEST!

First off let me start off by saying that this is a little fancier than we normally do, but at the same time we felt at home during our stay. The experience begins with a bellman and a log luggage cart to escort you to check in and then to your room. I would highly recommend you try to get Jeffrey the Bellman. This guy is a class act, he talked to us like we had been friends forever, took us to our room and showed us everything we needed to know. Definitely aims to do his job well and he does just that!!! The rooms are magnificent, from the elegant bathrooms with huge air tub, to gigantic walk in tile shower, to the balcony overlooking the bass pro shop. The room comes with complimentary snacks and bottled water. It also comes with coffee and hot chocolate, and two robes to lounge in. Everything at this place is nice and clean and everyone is so friendly, we will definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Memphis area.
