Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service! The staff were super friendly and informative. The room was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was spotless and workers were cleaning pretty continuously as well as wearing gloves for illness precautions. I loved that the parking was secure as well as the hotel. No entry into the hotel without a room key after certain hours, and you always need a key for the elevator. We overslept and missed breakfast but look forward to trying it and the indoor pool next time. The location is prime for visiting Beale Street and the Fedex Forum. We will definitely return!

A sign on the front desk warned us to expect noise because we were in the heart of the entertainment and sports district. Indeed, the music from the Blues Cafe courtyard just across the alley was really loud in the parking garage and just outside the lobby, but we didn't notice it in our room facing Peabody Place Street. Foam ear plugs were furnished but not necessary. The room had a cheery black-out shade that actually kept out light. The shower stall was large, the water pressure was good, the hot water was immediate (we were on the 6th floor), and the shower head had an adjustable spray, although it was too high for me to reach, even on tip toes. There was no grab bar. The TV channel selection was ample. There were hot breakfast selections each day, plus milk, juice, oatmeal, and pastries, in a very nicely appointed breakfast room.

Beale Street was just around the corner, the Peabody Ducks were one block away, and the pedestrian bridge to Mud Island was a 20-minute walk.

Warning - this hotel is in a very noisy location. They have signs about this at the front desk and provide ear plugs to their guest but you need to be aware of this before making a reservation. There is no escaping the continuous noise from late afternoon to early in the morning. Music from Beale Street (understandable) and unnecessarily load, revving engine noise from motorcycles and cars (not understandable) made it almost impossible to relax in the room.

Now if you can deal with the noise then this is a great hotel. It is clean, comfortable, and near all the main attractions in Memphis. They have outstanding service at the front desk. Michael went out of his way to help get us a great room to mitigate the noise issues as best as possible. Angela on the housekeeping staff was so friendly, helpful and kept the 6th floor rooms so clean. They offered and nice breakfast as well. Also, the connecting parking garage (extra fee) was very convenient.

Sadly for us, the noise was a problem but the hotel and staff were first rate.

I’ve stayed in Hampton hotels for years and until now have never had a truly bad experience. This one began with the disgruntled attitude of the staff at check-in. The breakfast was disappointing. Though I arrived before 7 a.m., everything tasted as though it had been reheated or sitting out for hours. The staff member serving breakfast was exceptionally rude, never making eye contact and keeping her back to the guests even as they ordered. In one case a gentleman was standing, waiting to be acknowledged and the Hampton employee yelled over her shoulder “Go on, I’m listening!” There is a sign on the bathroom mirror that housekeeping is only available on request, but there is no housekeeping even if requested. I called housekeeping on day three of our stay and received no answer. The call rolled to the front desk where someone told me he would have to verify I had stayed long enough for housekeeping. I reminded the him there was a sign in my room saying I could call for housekeeping, but he said it was very limited if you’d only been staying a day or two. For example, “you can request towels”. Fortunately, he confirmed I was on day three and could request housekeeping. He said he was adding me to the list, but housekeeping never arrived. Did I mention we paid well in excess of $1,000 for four nights of rude behavior, bad food and no cleaning services?

This was our first hotel stay during the pandemic and we did not know what to expect. But, in light of the circumstances, I felt the venue did a very nice job. This property is wonderfully located, walking distance to great restaurants, Beale Street of course, the waterfront, the Peabody ducks, Sun Studio, Museum of Rock n Soul and the trolley. Our room was clean and the staff was very gracious when we wanted everything from more lotion, to bottled water at breakfast, coffee packets and more creamer. They even found us glass wine glasses (versus paper) for wine that we brought in. I also felt the security was good given the location. These are tough times but I felt this site rose to the occasion.

We arrived late afternoon and easily found off-street parking right across the street (possibly due to so many closures from the pandemic). Check-in was easy with the app on my phone, and we found the hotel orderly and clean. Reception was pleasant with every encounter we had. Our room was on the second floor right off the elevator, and we also found it to be well-appointed and cozy. I noticed barely any noise outside of the hotel and inside, and slept well. The water was nice and hot in the shower and we enjoyed the coffee and snacks left out for breakfast in the morning. I would absolutely stay here again in the future. It's close to everywhere you want to go downtown and is nice.

We stayed for a couple of nights and were more than please with our choice, its right alongside Beale street which means your right in the centre of the action in the evening. the room was large with all amenities you may want, breakfast was a nice touch. Parking was self parking alongside the hotel at reasonable cost.
All in a good central location at a reasonable cost.

Stayed one night in May 2021, as a stop over point for a road trip across the south. The hotel itself is nice. It doesn't stand out, but its your typical Hampton property, and delivers what you expect. There is a parking garage adjacent to the property, it is rather expensive at $19/night, and it is difficult to get into because the entrance from the hotel is set into the "roundabout" in the alley. I am not sure if they validate (I'm guessing not) but they will take the ticket from you and give you a hanger for your car so you won't get towed.

The room was a king room with a small kitchenette and a balcony, overlooking the corner of Peabody and BB King Blvd. Room was clean, bed and pillows were a bit too soft for my liking and I didn't sleep *that* well. Shower was great, kitchen has a lot of amenities to it in a small space. Fitness center and pool are open, I didn't use either due to the pandemic. Breakfast is available, but still due to the pandemic options are very limited.

I consider this a 3.5 star review, with the fourth star going to the front desk staff for working to fix a room issue I had on check in and being very pleasant to work with. Bottom line: it's a Hampton. It's close to Beale Street, but it's a Hampton. No surprises, nothing new. Just...familiarity.

First time on Beale street, this hotel has a great location for staying near Beale street but like the sign says in the lobby: “If you are looking for a quiet hotel this isn’t it” That is because it backs up to many bars on Beale that all have live music. Our room did face the bars and we could hear the music until late but it was not so bad we couldn’t sleep. The lobby is very nice and large. We arrived at 3:00 PM check in is at 4:00 so we waited for our room to be ready the only thing negative I have to say is the front desk person Lyda was not very friendly but when I came back later the new desk staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was nice and had everything we needed. I would stay here again.
