We were so delighted with this hotel! we travel a lot and I would say we have pretty high standards, and this hotel met all of our expectations and then some!!!
First of all the location is a mile away from TPC Southwind country club where the FedEx PGA was playing. The general manager was driving the shuttle bus and was so accommodating to take you over at your convenience and would come pick you up whenever you called him.
It is also easy walking distance next door to a grocery store, a pizza place, and 2 other restaurants and a liquor store.
The room was spacious we had a sofa and Ottomans a mini refrigerator with the sink two TVs.
Our room was comfortable and clean!

Best of all was the staff! Everyone at the front desk was so accommodating friendly helpful. You could tell that their team leader, Ciscothe general manager, definitely has a positive attitude and has a positive leadership! Every day I saw this other young man down there cleaning, mopping the floors wiping down tables. Kyle and both ladies at the desk always smiled and were readily available for and of our requests or needs
While we didn’t use housekeeping, we did see them in the hallway and asked them for several items, and they seemed to both be enjoying their jobs having fun laughing with us and very accommodating to our needs!
Would definitely stay again!!

This hotel is a fantastic value for the available lobby space for small groups, breakfast variety, and location to soccer fields and restaurants. Highly recommend for Mike Rose access. Don’t choose a smoking floor.

Our family had a very comfortable stay en route from Florida to Missouri at this Holiday Inn Express. It was worth driving 10 minutes or so off of the interstate to stay here. This is definitely Holiday Inn at its best - clean, bright, comfortable and a good value for the money especially compared to similar Memphis area options. I was able to use our points to get one of our rooms discounted, too. The free breakfast was very nice with lots of options including hot pancakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties (turkey and pork options) as well as cereal, yogurt and baked goods. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. The exterior was also clean and well kept.

I have stayed at this location a few times before because it is so close to my grandparents’ home. More recently I have stayed at the Homewood Suites directly behind it, which is much nicer. However, we had to book on short notice for my grandfather’s funeral and the Homewood Suites was fully booked, so we settled on this Hampton Inn.

We were able to check in early and called to request that we be booked in a room next to my mom to have help with babysitting. When we arrived, the room we had checked into in advance was no longer available and my mom had checked in several hours before. The hotel did accommodate them moving rooms to be next door to us, which I appreciated, but it was a bit of a hassle. The woman working at reception seemed a little annoyed with me for requesting, but I think when you call ahead to request this and confirm specific rooms, it should be honored.

Overall, the rooms are incredibly dark with depressing, poor lighting. The carpet is dark and seems dirty. The tub was not clean. The drains in the tub and the sink took forever to drain. The furniture is too big for the bedroom. The sliding barn door that covers the closet and bathroom was annoying.

My daughter got sick while we were at the hotel and when I scrubbed the carpet after she threw up, I realized just how dirty it was. The washcloth became filthy with long black curly hairs stuck in it. The following morning we went to breakfast in the lobby and I went to the restroom off the lobby to wash my hands. It literally had poop splashed all over the bowl. There was a soccer tournament going on nearby so the hotel was quite full, but I don’t consider that an excuse for the overflowing trash cans, etc.

I definitely would not stay in this hotel again.

First, the staff are great. Kyle and Brandon did everything they could to find a suitable room for our family. The first room assigned to us was just being sprayed with some antibacterial treatment. The smell was overpowering and the AC control on the wall was ripped out. They finally found us a king size suite which means 3 of us were sharing a bed. The room is old and completely outdated. Roaches in the bathroom, gnats all over the bedroom. No warm breakfast, no coffee after 9am! The hallway is dirty and smells really bad. The 3rd floor occupants are smelling some weed and pots from some rooms (apparently common if you read prior reviews). The washing machines are broken. It is apparent that the management and owners have not spend a single dime to update or maintain this hotel. I do want to stress that they have really good staff. It is unfortunate that they are stuck with a property that’s been abandon for way too long.

Checked into my room to find used food and dirty tissues leftover from the previous guest. The hotel ignored me and the hilton customer service attempts to contact them to fix. 13 hours after the the issue was addressed, the hotel's first response was that they would clean the room the next day. If you have any health concerns do not rely on this hotel to be clean, unless you bring your own cleaning supplies.

We checked in at 2 pm and the parking lot was empty. I had reserved my room more than a week in advance. But at check in they said our room type was not available. We had booked a king suite. They said we could either take two doubles or leave with a refund. When I asked for a toothbrush and toothpaste they said they didn’t have amenities. Also guess what? No breakfast either. The room did not look sanitized. The remote didn’t even have a back to it. I wouldn’t come back.

I stayed at Hampton inn because of their reputation and breakfast. Starting with the room, it was very noisy and there was a layer of grime on the edge of the floor behind the toilet.

The biggest disappointment though is the sorry excuse for a breakfast. You get a brown paper bag with a freezing cold bagel, cream cheese, and yogurt. I had stayed the night before in a hotel in Knoxville and they still had full hot fresh breakfast.

Absolute disgrace that Hampton inn has chosen to throw out is own reputation to be cheap. Will never stay at a Hampton Inn again.

Tip for the hotel: Stop advertising “free breakfast.” The disgusting bag I got was not edible.

My visit started off awful. Toilet not even attached to floor. I almost fell off when the thing rocked so bad!! The bathtub was not cleaned. Very slippery from previous guest and had body hair in it.

The topper of my visit was when someone broke into my room while I was sleeping. The desk gave someone akey card to my room. This person opened the door. Luckily I had the hotel lock on as the tried slamming forcibly past the hotel luck multiple times. I have made multiple calls in an attept to obtain a refund due to the fact the hotel has been completely negligent and I did not receive the service I paid for. This seems to have been an inside job as the front desk first told me it was a system glitch and she was going to reset all the cards manually, which makes no sense. Then on my next call, I was told there isn't even a girl who works the desk at night and was told there was no way this could've been another guest and must have been an employee. Makes sense since we came back from dinner through a side entrance and staff didn't know we had returned. I have been lied to multiple times about who the manager even is by staff. I have been given the run around. The manager has failed to call me despite my multiple attempts to resolve this. I feel violated, couldn't sleep all night, don't even want to think about what couldve happened if this intruder made it past the hotel lock. This hotel severly compromised my safety, was negligent, breached our contract, needs to fire someone or multiple people, and management is allowing it all. The hotel is disgusting and dirty, but I never would've complained about that.

This hotel is falling apart, literally. From hair in 'freshly spread beds' to falling cabinet doors and bed frames, broken bathroom doors and mold smell, this 2 Queen room at $150.00 a night was a let down.
It has much potential but need sa thorough upgrade from cleaning the carpets on the floors, beds to bathroom doors.
