A great location for our Christmas night out - delicious food (compliments to the chef!), a beautifully decorated dining room - and special thanks to Emily, Iulian and Addy for their excellent service.
Couldn't fault a thing!

Are there any family rooms ? We are husband , wife & teenage daughter .
I've stayed there 3 times and have seen teenagers at breakfast time on one occasion and I think children under 12 are free, so presumably there are family rooms.

Hi I know this sounds strange but my husband is quite claustrophobic, do the bedroom windows open quite wide? Thank you, Margaret
Ours were rectangular and opened quite far. Probably about a metre and a half in length not sure all the rooms are the same. The hotel reception are lovely , ring them and specifically ask for a spacious room / large windows. They were great sorting out our family dog friendly room.

thinking about booking overnight stay on sat , is there any entertainment, and is weather ok there
No entertainment, very quiet when we were there in October, there's a pub up the road but we were the only one's in there when we went in. The Spar shop up the road sells reasonable priced bottles of wine.

Coming to visit the Crianlarich Hotel with a rail discoveries tour on 4th October. Whilst the hotel looks very nice I am a little concerned that I may get one of the rooms with rubber tube fitted to the bathtaps type of shower shown in the traveller photos. Is there a way of guaranteeing a proper shower please?
