From the moment we walked in, we felt very welcome and knew we were in for a treat during our two night stay.
Tastefully furnished, subtle splashes of beautiful harris tweed added to the style & warmth of our ground floor room. A spacious, light, very comfortable space with a fabulous views of the sea, deer on the hill, and eagles soaring in the thermals.
Lots of well researched recommendations gave us lots of good ideas for our two packed days. Then, after exploring and walking locally, we slept really well in the fabulously comfy big bed and appreciated a great shower in an our enormous bathroom.
Sarah - our fabulous host - pulled out the stops to ensure our gluten and dairy free food needs meant we didn’t miss out on any culinary treat when we dined with them each night. We really enjoyed the deliciously local sourced and carefully prepared dishes from the sea and garden.
We know there were other guests but it felt like we were the only ones - it was very peaceful. It was the perfect place for the two of us and our dog - a great start to our trip around the western isles.

What an amazing place. We drove through fog to what felt like the end of the world, to be greeted by Sarah, probably the best host ever. We only stayed a couple of nights but ate and drank like kings, including scallops, langoustines, mussels, lamb and the tastiest beef. The rooms super comfortable and well equipped. The private room has a massive bathroom, which is literally one step across the landing (dressing gowns provided). Great views and a short stroll down to the pebble beach. So many other beautiful sandy beaches nearby such as Uig and Mangersta, and outdoorsy things to do like a walk out to see the sea stacks. Drop into the local museum at Timsgarry to find out more about the Lewis chessmen (and local history) and a bite at the cafe. You could easily spend a week in this corner of Lewis, but are not too far to Bernera, Callanish, and other places of interest on the north west coast, or across to Stornoway. Loved our stay - thank you ❤️

I'm so delighted that we found SEAcroft and spent two nights here at the end of our Hebridean adventure. I only wish we could have spent longer in this beautiful and remote corner of Lewis. We followed Sarah's advice and ate in Tarbert on our way to SEAcroft. This turned out to be fortuitous because we encountered very thick sea-fog on the last part of the journey to Aird Uig which delayed our arrival. However, Sarah welcomed us warmly and showed us to our cosy ground-floor bedroom. The following morning we enjoyed a hearty breakfast in the dining room with the other guests. We made excellent use of our single day and visited Uig Sands before heading down the coast road to Mealasta. The glorious weather spurred us on, and we drove north around the Valtos community, stopping for a walk along the stunning Reef Beach. We returned to SEAcroft as the sun was setting and walked up to the old military base at Gallan Head. In our bedroom, there was a folder with a fascinating account by one of the RAF recruits who spent a chilly couple of winters posted here in the 1950's. Dinner was incredible! Andrew is an accomplished cook who succeeded in serving delicious and plentiful food. The mussels my partner ordered were the best he had ever eaten. For myself, Andrew prepared roasted veg and couscous which was delicious and so plentiful I took it with me for lunch the following day. SEAcroft is a gem in the most stunning location you can imagine. Go, you'll be glad you did!

We stayed in SEApod Air and from the moment we arrived we felt welcomed (Welcome blackboard outside with our names and a Happy Birthday message). At the time of our visit, ownership of the pods was in transition but our experience was not affected in any way. The new owners were very responsive to messages and readily available if required. The pod felt very private whilst still being close to Seacroft house for dinner. We ate dinner twice in our 3 night stay and all meals were outstanding. Sarah, was an amazing host and one of those people who makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. She had plenty of tips and advice on places to visit and we would not hesitate to return. If you get the chance to visit Lewis, this would be an excellent place to stay.

We stayed a couple of nights at SEAcroft at the end of our stay on Lewis and Harris and very much enjoyed all the facilities offered - a great location close to the scenic highlights of that part of the island; a friendly community center nearby (thank you again, Sarah for being flexible and for enabling us to experience the local quiz night!); a most comfortable bedroom with nice touches like your names on the door or some cakes and milk in the fridge awaiting you; an excellent breakfast to start the day (wonderful fluffy omelette 👌) to quote but a few features. Thanks again, Sarah and Andrew for making your home such a lovely place and sharing it with us.

SEAcroft is situated in the most amazing location on the mid west coast of the Isles of Lewis and Harris. Sarah is the most wonderful and engaging hostess whose energy and enthusiasm ensure you feel extremely welcome and comfortable in every which way. We stayed in the main guest house but there are also sea pods which can be booked. A hearty cooked breakfast was included and we also booked dinner for both nights of our stay. Our very large king bedroom overlooked the bay, and included beautiful furnishings from Harris Tweed. The bed was soooo comfortable, the linen was of a high quality as were the toiletries. There was an informative and well thought out folder with everything we needed to know, visit etc plus plenty of maps, books and games to borrow. And to top it off, there were beautiful chocolates on our bed when we arrived, along with a fresh coffee machine, tea and shortbread! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Superb sea view pod but a room upstairs with bathroom on the other side of the hallway..... at night, not easy to cross the hallway in front of the other rooms. Offers meals in the evening (and fortunately because the only restaurant is less than an hour old is on a flat rate menu at 85 pounds per person!!!) but so Award of high meals (e.g. plank charcuterie cheese at 85 pounds for two with two unfortunate slices of raw ham and industrial sausage and chorizo) the rest of the dishes offered is very good very well cooked. Count 30 pounds per dish per person. A bit far from everything (1 hour stornoway). Offers laundry service, and take away even for small deus in case of early Check-out for the boat. Property owner my adorable even if madam is a bit strict .... Lack of a little cool... this is the holiday for us! And lack of a cozy little lounge for rainy or windy days

Wow where to begin, travelling through the hebrides with my 8year old son we have had many stopovers and met many people but seacroft was definitely a cut above the rest. Staying in 'air' one of the clifftop pods was an experience well certainly never forget . The view from the pod is worth the price alone as the setting is nothing short of majestic watching the waves crash against the rocks is truly mesmerising and hypnotic and I spent many hours just chilling out the front porch of the pod and taking in the natural beauty of the surroundings. The pod itself is compact but cleverly designed and warm and cosy with nice hot shower,Internet TV and good wifi If that's not enough the restaurant for seacroft residents serves the freshest seafood and the juiciest tenderness steaks I've ever had the pleasure to taste so foodies will be in their element aswell . Sarah the owner was very friendly and even gave us a masterclass in how to tackle our first lobster also her salmon starter was a work of art Can't recommend this place enough it is truly special and anyone who's been here knows it 6 out of 5 stars from me and I hope I can get up here again soon Thank-you so much seacroft for bringing our road trip to a sensational finale we really appreciate it Regards Dean and harry

My wife and I went to Seacroft Bed & Breakfast for 4 nights and stayed in 1 of the SEApods which is a self-catering unit with spectacular views of the Bay of Aird. Each morning we had a fantastic breakfast made for us by Sarah and Andrew who were amazing hosts and were very warm and welcoming. The views from the location are breath taking and I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone who is interested in visiting the Isle of Lewis and Harris.

spent two nights at this B&B with my elderly parents, one of which suffers with dementia. Sarah the host could not of been more supportive and understanding, outstanding host and lovely lady. I was also given free Gaelic lessons every morning as I am shortly moving to the island. If your looking for a remote location close to breath taking views and beaches then I would highly recommend this establishment, it will not disappoint. The food was of a high standard and again Sarah was the perfect host with continuing lessons in Gaelic and lobster eating. No issues with parking and dog friendly, there was even a dog treat for her at breakfast both mornings. Thank you SEAcroft

I think double room was £85 per night and POD was £90 per night. Good quality breakfast was available whether in POD or double. Sarah and Andrew were wonderful host. We went end August 2018.

Good morning and my apologies, Trip Advisor do not notify me when there is a question awaiting my response.
The Lewis Longpod is set back from the cliff edge in its own garden area so does not have the same interrupted sea views that the SEApods enjoy.
If I can help further, then please email directly.
Many thanks
Sarah
