We were greeted like friends on our arrival and instantly felt at home. The Castle offered everything from the location, service, comfortability and gorgeously decorated rooms with en-suite. We had the best night sleep and it set us up for a day of exploring the north coast. The Castle is a short walk to Ballintoy Harbour and a short drive to the Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge. Breakfast was delicious and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. If you are looking for somewhere where you will enjoy and have many of Northern Ireland's famous attractions on your doorstep then this is your place. Our host Donnach was fabulous and ensured we had a brilliant stay. All I can say is enjoy your stay when you go and we will be back to,

We are on a fleeting first visit to Northern Island and visited the Titanic museum in Belfast before travelling 1hr 20 mins to the Giants Causeway, then staying at this little gem just 10mins along the road. It’s a very spacious property, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. We had a warm welcome, and we’re shown to the huge family room. 1 massive, super king bed and 3 singles with TV, tea and coffee facilities and a very spacious bathroom. The room was comfortably warm the beds were so comfy, after spending the previous night on the ferry they were an absolute joy to get into! It’s a 5 min walk to the village, we’re there are 2 pubs and a wee shop. The walk down to the harbour is just stunning. We walked down to watch the sunset over the beautiful Causeway coast and took another walk down this morning before leaving. Small sandy beach, stunning rock formations and rock pools with turquoise water. It’s a Game of Thrones location so if you're a fan it’s a must see, but simply a stunning place to chill. Breakfast this morning was hot, tasty and plentiful. This little gem is everything you could want from a B&B and the perfect base to explore a very beautiful part of the the world. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed 2 nights and loved it. Very clean, comfortable and roomy. The room was so quiet at night. The location was perfect for day trips on the east coast and then to west toward Portrush, Dunluce castle, Bushmills, etc. The view was beautiful. A 10 minute walk up the road to either of 2 pubs in the little town, was a big plus. Breakfast was perfect thanks to Donnach, the owner. I highly recommend The Castle B & B, Balintoy, and YES, I would come back!

This was my second visit with my daughter as we hiked part of the beautiful Antrim coastline.

This is an outstanding location for seeing the many sights that are around. We were delighted with our accommodation. Donnacha is an excellent host. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was hearty with produce from local farms.

We have no hesitation in recommending a stay here. I have already booked a stay in April with 2 German friends who wish to hike the wonderful coastline.

My daughter and I loved staying at the Castle! The pictures don't do it justice. It's in a charming location off the beaten path with two lovely pubs nearby for dinner, an old open church, and Ballintoy Harbor at the end of the road. It's right off the Causeway Coastal trail and the hosts are lovely and provided the best breakfast.

This provided a nice sleeping room. The shower wasn’t great. Breakfast was good. No lounge area. Not a castle! It is located in a beautiful area and easy access to hiking trail. The Carrick - a -Rede Rope Bridge is nearby which is worth a look even if you don’t cross bridge!

This was one of the B&B’s along the causeway coast hiking tour. It was raining and windy but no problem if we arrived a bit earlier. The room was beautiful and very big for the two of us and also a big bathroom, both very clean. And very quiet at night!
In walking distance two pubs where we had dinner and a drink.
From the B&B it was a short walk along a white church to the harbour of ballintoy where the hiking tour continued.
Nice place to stay during out hiking tour!

On our hiking trip, this place catered our needs. Staying at Donnach’s place was a very nice experience. Donnach was a very good host and always ready to help. The rooms were very spacious and clean, providing a perfect retreat after a long day on the trails.

Breakfast was exactly how it should be, giving us the energy needed for the hikes. Donnach even went the extra mile by arranging a light lunch to get us on our way.

Thanks Donnach for your kind hospitality.
