We stayed here recently to attend a wedding in the nearby Galgorm resort Helen is a wonderful host, so friendly and welcoming even driving us to the Galgorm (which was so handy!). The rooms are large and spotless with a microwave and toaster in addition to the usual tea and coffee facilities. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, homemade wheaten bread and a tasty Ulster fry to follow. Can't recommend this B&B highly enough

Well I don’t even know where to start with how good our visit was, from the minute we arrived Helen couldn’t do enough for us. We were here for our anniversary and she met us at the door with a lovely cup of tea and some homemade cake which was delicious, she even gave us a lovely bottle of wine and gave us a lift to the Galgorm to save us getting a taxi.
The room was immaculate and decorated to a very high standard with everything you need included shower gel and more and the bed was really comfortable to sleep in.
The next morning she made us the best breakfast before we headed off. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this bnb.

Our current stay at Meadowview was for five nights, our hostess Helen, was again very warm and welcoming and treated us like old friends.
Everything was spotless, our room was neat and inviting and looked over the front lawn. The bed was extremely comfortable, the towels soft and fluffy, tea and coffee was provided as well as homemade biscuits.
Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. Helen even remembered from our previous stay that my husband likes vegamite on his toast and provided it. Nothing was too much trouble,
We would highly recommend Meadowview to anyone looking for a B&B in the Ballymena area.

We loved our stay at Meadow View B&B. Helen was a fantastic hostess, very friendly and accommodating. Book direct with her and she will make sure you get the room that fits your needs best. (We did not do this and ended up in the smaller room, which was fine but it was a little tight with our luggage.) The food was delicious and she will cook to order whatever you want for breakfast. Our favorites were her wheaten bread and overnight oats. The inn is located in a beautiful, quiet and remote location so for pub-life you will need to go a little out of town but Helen arranged a car service for us one night, free of charge. The house was clean and felt like we were staying at Grandma’s. We will definitely return the next time we visit Northern Ireland.

Helen was absolutely brilliant , so welcoming making us feel at home from the beginning of our stay . We only stayed one night as we were going to the galgorm for dinner and spa , but she went above and beyond to make it the nicest stay possible! She made us lovely tea with homemade lemon cake on arrival which was delicious! Also went out of her way to organise transport for us to and from the galgorm to save us from getting a taxi which helped us out a lot. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable - shower was brilliant! Room had all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious - fruit , yogurt , cereal and best of all the fry up . She really just wants her guests to have an enjoyable stay , i would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you again Helen will definitely be booking in again

I stayed in Meadowview for 2 nights with my mum in July. I would highly recommend this B & B. Helen was extremely welcoming and the bedroom was beautiful. It was equipped with everything a guest would need and fresh towels were provided every day. Helen cooked a wonderful breakfast with homemade wheaten bread, the perfect start to the day. I would definitely stay here again.

We chose this B&B because of the reviews, and close proximity to Ballymena. We were not disappointed. Some people may think all these 5 star reviews are too good to be true. THEY ARE TRUE! Helen is a wonderful host; warm, friendly, and caring. The breakfasts are to die for. Helen makes sure you are fully fed and ready to start your day. The breakfasts are freshly cooked, and the fresh fruit salad is delicious. Helen also went out of her way to cater to my food intolerances. She made sure she always had the right food for me. She did not stop looking until she found whatever it was I needed. She also baked a couple of gluten free, dairy free, and soy free cakes during our 9 day stay. The house was spacious, and there is a separate sitting room for guests. Our bedroom accommodation was always fresh and clean, and the towels were changed every day.
We can't say enough about Helen and the Meadow View B&B. Loved our stay, and if we are ever back in that area we will definitely stay here again.
Thank you Helen.

Me and my hubby stayed here last night for one night only as we were attending a wedding in Galgorm, but we genuinely wished it could have been longer. From the minute we met Helen we were treated like old friends. She really is the most beautiful amazing lovely genuine person. Nothing was too much trouble…she even drove us from her home to the Galgorm, on our arrival. The next morning we had the greatest breakfast, fresh fruit, yogurt, home made wheaten bread and the yummiest of fry’s. I devoured everything in seconds. So if you ever want to stay in a little touch of Heaven stay in Meadowview you will never regret it. Thank you Helen for everything xxx (Big hug to Jennifer and the pups too xx)

Helen the host is amazing - she will do anything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Not the most modern bathrooms but all very pristine and everything you could want available. Breakfast is cooked to order and the variety exceptional. Home from home but lockable bedroom doors if you feel the need. Lovely quiet spot with grounds to sit out in when the weather is fine. Would always come here if in the area.

Hi, both the hotel and b & b are quite remote, so I doubt there is a bus service direct. However there are trains and buses to Ballymena which is not far from the B and B.
Depends on what you call a walk. The nearest village is about twenty minute / half an hour walk with small pubs. You have more options by car.
