Communication on the run up was outstanding, all our finer intricate and personal details were delivered and nothing was too much bother,
Organisation on the day faultless, everything as we requested,
Recommendation of stylists/make-up in the area flawless - highly recommended,
Accommodation beautiful with idyllic setting,
Food beautiful - all our guests were well catered for,
Venue exactly what we asked for & timing all fab on the day,
Couldn't have asked for better on the day it was simply perfect and fantastic value for money.
Highly recommended 👌

The rooms are beautifully decorated but unfunctional. No drawer space. A very tiny cupboard with 4 coat hangers and an ironing board squashed in was only place to hang clothes. Bathroom was lovely but shower pressure poor. No toilet brush! There was a heating control which didn't work and you had to call reception to turn temperature down or up- room was boiling!. No fridge for a bottle a water and signs warning any food or drink not bought in hotel would be fined at £50! The bedside light was temperamental.
The bar was closed. So for the price hotel had no facilities was not good value for money for bedrooms.
On a positive note the breakfast was excellent. The French toast with Bacon best I've had. 👌
We were attending a wedding and staying over as room can be booked at wedding rate. When paying for room discovered wedding rate was 45p cheaper than booking direct.
The meal was lovely and vegan diners catered for exceptionally well, despite what appeared to be wood chips in the soup.
Bar staff where telling guests they didn’t have certain spirits we could easily see sitting behind the bar and sighed when asked for a frozen cocktail that was on their menu as this obviously takes more effort to make.
The rooms are beautifully decorated however, the mattresses are not that comfortable (travel lodges are better), and the beds are small as both mine and my husbands feet hung out over the edge.
Breakfast the next day was told my room
Had already came down for breakfast and they had someone else’s name down against my room despite me stranding there with the room card eventually they let me have breakfast.
The food was your typical hotel breakfast but smaller than expected but the sausages had a very weird taste to them and don’t recommend them.
The receptionist on at checkout was grumpy, not well presented for front of house and was yawning at me whilst trying to checkout.
Personally for what you get it is very over priced and definitely would not be returning.
Wedding reception: The wedding ceremony and reception were superbly organised by the hotel, from start to finish. Food and service and the reception room were all first class. Beautiful food, expertly served. I have only good things to say about the reception in this lovely hotel! Recommended.
Bedroom: An overnight stay was included in the package. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious and very charming. We did feel that the bed was very firm, too hard for us. We also felt that the shower tray was very slippery when wet. Other guests in our group also made the same comments, about the bed and the shower tray. If management read this, these are two things they could possibly look at. Possibly add "toppers" to the mattresses, and provide non slip rubber mats for the showers.
An excellent wedding venue, highly recommended.
"Can be busy with weddings Sitting in the conservatory part of the restaurant maybe isn’t ideal during warm weather for obvious reasons"Read full review
