Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My stay at Bayview was wonderful! Martin and Margaret are the loveliest of host that will go over and beyond to be hospitable and caring. Given that I had a late flight into Belfast International, Martin was so kind to come and pick me up for a small fee. My room was large and spacious with an awesome view and the seaside, and the morning breakfast prepared by Margaret will keep you satisfied through the morning.

Highly recommended stay, not only for the B&B but especially for Martin and Margaret warmth. You won't regret it!

My family and I stayed here again this year. Stayed in room 4, absolutely beautiful view of the beach. I brought my dog as well, it’s brilliant to be able to have our dog join our holiday. This is the best B&B, the hosts Margret and her husband went above and beyond. The room was spectacular, beds were clean and comfortable. Tv in the room was great to watch while relaxing. There is free wifi as well. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean. The shower is amazing. Such a feel of home, this is our second time staying and won’t be our last. The breakfast is excellent Margret makes a fantastic full breakfast. Margret and her husband goes above and beyond to ensure you have enough at breakfast, it’s a prefect way to start your day. I fully recommend this B&B to anyone, the prices are great and if your not sure on where to check out Margret and her husband are full of suggestions and recommendations. The waterfalls Margaret recommended were beautiful. It’s a family run B&B and you can truly feel that when entering, we were welcomed and we immediately felt so comfortable. That’s what a great experience is all about. My son has autism and Margaret put a smile on his face. It’s a perfect B&B to stay and have that close family time together with a beach just across the road. Thank you for a wonderful stay again, we will be back 😊🤗 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Booked into Bayview as we were eating at a place up the Glen but also enjoy a pint before dinner.

The property is within 2 minutes walk to the village which has a few pubs, shops and a takeaway.

The owner, Martin, is a lovely guy who went out of his way to assist us, including running us to the restaurant as taxis can be a bit tricky around here.

The house is substantial with loads of space in the bedroom and the en suite. The full cooked breakfast was excellent, the right size, good quality products and non greasy…the way a good fry should be.

This is a great spot even just for a night away to get the head showered.

We booked for 2 nights, but our room was not clean so we left after the first night. The room was not as per the description on Booking.com. No hairdryer nor tea/coffee facilities in the room. We could have coped with that if it wasn’t for the dirty floor in the bathroom, covered in someone else’s hair, and the sticky window handles when we opened/closed the windows. The table at breakfast was not clean either.
Martin was very friendly and gave us a good recommendation for dinner, and the B&B is situated in a lovely spot. We just couldn’t cope with the dirty floors etc.
The proprietor appears to have cancelled our booking, despite us paying in full and staying for one night (22 July 2024) so not able to put this review on Booking.com

A wonderful stay, Margaret and Martin couldn't do enough for us. We really felt at home, the house was immaculate. We had the room with a sea view which was excellent. The room was large with two double beds and a very large bathroom. It was warm, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Margaret's breakfasts are amazing & always piping hot. The property is very conveniently located for so many places of interest & after six nights stay we never ran short of places to visit. I would have no hesitation recommending this property to anyone & if we are in the area again this is where we would stay.

Stayed for 3 nights . Couldn’t have felt safer due to the cleaning and precautions taken by the land lady .there were hand sanitizers every were . only so many at breakfast . And the land lady constantly cleaning and wiping down everything. Room was spotless it’s the cleaneast B&B that I have ever stayed in.Breakfast was absolutely beautiful anything you might want it’s no trouble. Land lady couldn’t do enough for us on our stay. Nothing was to much trouble. Which made us feel fantastic about the the place. It is a very beautiful house. And definitely 10/10 for everything. Will definitely be back soon .And would definitely tell everyone how beautiful it is.

Fantastic large room with an amazing sea view. 3 beds , 1 large & 1 single. A large shower. Everything was spotless.Lovely breakfast made by Margaret started us up for the day & Martin making sure everyone was okay, they both work well together. Fantastic stay at Bayview. Friendly welcome and indeed throughout the stay. Felt safe and looked after given the current climate, with well organised cleaning procedures. Will certainly stay again when in the area & recommend to all. Breakfast was top class

The house was super clean and beautiful; it has the feel of both a beach house and a farmhouse. My room was spacious, warm, and had a beautiful ocean view. My bathroom was gigantic. Martin and Margaret are lovely hosts and provided everything I could need, including helpful info about the local sights. The continental breakfast included everything you would expect. Margaret’s coffee is delicious. You can also purchase a hot breakfast. My bed and pillows were comfortable and I had a great night’s sleep. It was easy to find, and they have a parking lot in the back. I highly recommend
