We stayed here the night before our flight from Dublin Airport and left deciding that we would definitely be staying here again!
There is a shuttle that runs between the airport and both the Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza, which is completely free (unlike some other Dublin Airport hotels which charge €2 per person one way) and is also a fully electric bus. We got on the first shuttle the next morning (4am) which took off on time with no issues - it is parked up right outside the hotel overnight so we just had to walk straight outside to board.
Check in was smooth and pleasant and checkout was generally prompt for being first thing in the morning. The staff were very courteous. The whole lobby area was clean and calming.
Our room was really fantastic; the whole place was clean and contemporary, the bed was really comfy with a choice of hard and medium firmness of pillow (something which is found across the Holiday Inn brand) and the shower was large, gleaming and satisfying with pleasant dim lighting. There was a modern table and chair for working at, and lots of space for a standard room. There was zero noise from the hallway or other rooms so we had an undisturbed sleep which was vitally important for our early morning departure.
We left very impressed - well done Holiday Inn Express!

I stayed here the night before I flew out of Dublin for the free airport shuttle. From the moment I entered, everything said Crown Plaza. The HIE name is nowhere. There are luxury toiletries in the room, the bed and pillows are comfortable and the staff are very well trained. The free breakfast was extensive and outstanding. I also ate in the restaurant. Excellent food and service again.

With a long drive from home to the airport & an early morning flight, I decided to take some of the stress out of my trip by staying in an airport hotel for the night before that flight. I picked this one as I was happy with their park, stay & go offer & it proved to be a good choice. First impressions were good as I entered the nice foyer with it’s comfortable looking seating. With a number of reception desks, checking in was fast & smooth. It was too late to think about food but as the bar looked really nice & welcoming with great seating & was far from busy, I did go in there for a nightcap before heading to my room. So, approx 20 minutes after parking my car, I headed to the lifts for my room. A clean, non smoking room with a carpet floor & not a bad size & with everything that was needed – double bed, wall mounted tv, clothes closet, dresser/desk, iron & ironing board, tea/coffee, full length mirror, hairdryer, safe, table & chair, smoke alarm, bedside lockers, central heating, air con & several spare electrical sockets. I had no problems with noise from inside or outside of the hotel. There was a large window but as I arrived late & left early, I can not comment on the natural light in the room. Free Wi Fi was good, easy to connect to with good downloading & browsing speeds in the room, foyer & bar. The bathroom was a decent size, clean, modern, fresh & stylish with tiled floor & walls, a shower cubicle, shower head & hose on a rail with plenty of hot water but just a little bit more pressure & it would have been perfect, hair/bodywash & liquid soap in wall mounted dispensers, large mirror, plenty of towels, dual voltage shaving socket & wall vent. I didn’t have time for breakfast at the hotel & so, skipped it & had breakfast after going through security at the airport, instead. All staff that I encountered were friendly & helpful. There were ice machines located on the different floors. Complimentary national newspapers were also available. For guest use, there is a pc point for wired internet located in the foyer. I used the hotel’s free shuttle bus to both get to the airport & to return to the hotel to collect my car. Scheduled for every 30 minutes & a journey of 10 minutes or a little under. Both times that I used the shuttle they were bang on time.

I would be very careful booking to stay with this Hotel as we had booked and paid back in January 23 only for our travel agent to be emailed right before we were due to fly out of NZ in May 23 that they could no longer honor our booking and would refund our money. Absolutely no explanation as to why, we were then left to scramble around to find alternative accommodation. Very very disappointed in the service

My husband is staying here and facing a lot of issues. The experience is really bad in terms of food. The food they offer is really pathetic!! What they serve is only Boiled Potato, Grilled Potato , Sweet Potato or any other combination with potato.
People staying under quarantine can't go outside so the should have planned the menu keeping the fact whatever gets served to them should suffice their appetite.
I would never ever go or advise people to plan their stay !! They are charging for giving all the amenities but even dental kit is not available in the rooms.

It was easy to transfer to the hotel from the airport. A free shuttle bus departs from Stand 16 in the central bus area every 30 minutes from early till late. While standing in the Stand 16 area, keep an eye open for the Crowne Plaza/Holiday Inn bus since it could park in various bays. It drops you off just ten minutes later in front of the Crowne Plaza/Holiday Inn Express.
The rooms are the latest Holiday Inn design, so compact and functional.
Decent hot items for breakfast. A short hot snack menu is available at other times.
Buses into central Dublin depart every few minutes from the end of the hotel drive and cost 3 euros - coins only.
Great value.

Holiday Inn Express has no secrets, you go, stay and that’s it, however this hotel makes efforts to be sure you have a great stay and the service is brilliant!!! Isabelle was FANTASTIC. Very nice, smily lovely girl. Fast check in, important information. Colm, the manager was just beside her and gave me a fantastic room. I cannot complain. Room is a very good size, bed extremely comfortable, pillows are perfect for a good sleep. Bathroom had very nice lights, specially for night when you don’t want to wake anybody up. Iron and board are enough for your needs. The only bad thing about bed is that you don’t want to get up ahahahah. The breakfast was tasteful, beans are delicious and they have a very good variety of food.

Our 1st stay at Holiday Inns. Stayed 3 nights & chose this site as it was out of the city but having lived in Dublin previously it was an excellent base. Fantastic service from checking in to leaving. Room were spotless & spacious enough & the bed / pillows exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was superb & was buffet style & a pleasant/ enjoyable experience.
We purchased Leap Cards at the Airport €19.50 for 72hours & these were great value as they can be used on buses / Luas & DART, so we travelled everywhere using these cards! Buses are frequent from the Holiday Inn even on Sundays! Many thanks for your exceptional services at Holiday Inn Santry!
Purchase Leap Cards if you’re not hiring a car Santry Park opposite the Hotel is lovely & the gardens are worth a look. (Walled Gatdens) OMNI Centre 5 minutes away on the bus for shopping or McDonalds

Have stayed at the Crown plaza next door a few times so decided to stay here recently as the price was very competitive. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast excellent and the staff helpful so what more could you ask for when just over-nighting to catch a flight. There's a multi-story car park next door and a complimentary shuttle bus transfer to the airport which operates every 30 minutes.

It is close, but the bus systems can be challenging and slow. You are on the outskirts of Dublin at this hotel so taxi is much easier. The taxis are quite reasonable in pricing too so it evens out for bus system.
Yes, they do run an airport shuttle till late night / early morning
We had an early flight and took the first shuttle at 5am on time. No delays
Enjoy your stay
