We had a truly delightful 4-day stay at the Best Western Home Place Inn! Not only was our room spacious, spotless and comfortable, but all the staff were welcoming, attentive and kind. And it's very obvious that great care has been taken to maintain every aspect of this beautiful property – the buildings, the landscaping, the amazing pool, as well as the warm inviting breakfast dining area. And speaking of breakfast, it was plentiful with all the basics, plus much more, hot coffee available 24/7 and the friendliest hostess. We would definitely return in a heartbeat!

I stayed here one night on business because it was the closest to the office I had to be in (in a neighboring town.) The front desk lady was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making sure I had a pleasant stay. The room was very clean, smelled nice, and was comfortable. Nice soft towels and hot shower with plenty of pressure. You do enter the rooms from outside, which is not usually my preference as a woman traveling alone, but the parking area was well lit and kept up well, and I heard very little noise outside the room overnight. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

Hotels are hotels, you sleep there, possibly eat and drink there.
The staff is what has made this Best Western the best. Everyone goes out of there way to say hi and ask if you are comfortable, the breakfast was good but the coffee machine is the example I use to show the difference. The coffee machine creamers and sugars are always perfectly aligned and that to me shows attention to detail.

Overall, this is a great place to stay as long as the rate is below $100 before taxes. The whole property is nonsmoking, however my room clearly used to be a smoking room. As someone who has asthma, I was forced to stay in my room as little as possible. If you are desperate to have a room that is a true nonsmoking room, be sure to ask for this before booking your stay/completing check in. I unfortunately couldn't change my room due to the hotel being completely booked during my stay.

I was so tired by the time I finally got to this hotel that is about 20 miles off the main route, that I took a room for the night even though it is ridiculously overpriced. I had just come from a 2 night stay at the Best Western in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where I had a great room at a fair price and a town that had a lot of things to do. Like I said, this place way off the hwy is in a place where there is nothing to do, dry county, drafty door on room and did I mention the price? I had to go to a laundromat because the overpriced motel laundry was out of order. Staff was friendly enough but breakfast included does not justify the price. That's pretty standard. There was nothing about this location that made it worth $111. Converted to Cdn was $150 night.

We appreciate your business but regret that your stay was found to be to expensive for you. You are right we live in a great quiet Southern community. We cant change that and we don't want to, WE LOVE IT! Our Laundry is working fine. Again I agree, our staff is excellent, recently winning the highest BW award - true! Yes, the breakfast is fantastic. Our guests score it very high day by day. For all this we are very thankful. Maybe you can find a lower price but not more hospitality or a better value. Thank you. Very clean room, amazing breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. My children loved swimming in the pool and the pool area was very well maintained. The outside of the hotel was also very well maintained.

I've stayed in this Best Western twice in the past three months and I love it. Reminds me of vacationing with my family as a child. Staff are incredibly friendly and the bagged breakfasts during the pandemic are easily the best I've seen.

I was a little leary of staying in a "motel" in a small town that I was not familiar with while traveling alone with my teenage daughter. I decided to book this hotel based on online reviews and the government employee discount offered. I was certainly not disappointed. The building was clean and well kept on arrival and I was met with a flag that said "thank you first responders." The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and there were cold drinks available on our arrival. The room was clean and well stocked with linens and the parking lot well lit and secure. The beds were comfortable and slept well. We did not use the pool but it was right outside our room and very clean and well maintained. The facilities are very nice and the hot breakfast was phenomenal with excellent friendly and very helpful staff who made you feel like you had walked into a family's home for a meal. You can't beat the price for the amenities offered and the quality of the hotel. I will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area. Thank you so much for being so kind and helpful!

Small town, was in for a memorial service. Check in was easy, friendly and welcoming. Staff was all friendly even with not so friendly guests. They went beyond the expected to make everyone comfortable and were very tolerant with younger guests as well. Would highly recommend.

We were able to get into our rooms early and staff was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast each day was tasty and was fulfilling and once again was hosted by a friendly person. Per friendly which was a positive as we weee traveling with our dog. Hotel was also local to a number of restaurants
