Not sure what to make of this place. It is a lovely hotel, catering primarily to bicyclists. Piedmont location means that the view includes some hills, but is not spectacular (the cell tower in the middle of the view is not helpful, though not the...More
Absolutely beautiful! What a hidden gem in Travelers Rest. This is gonna truly relaxing and very nice hotel. We are looking forward to going back and experiencing the exclusive restaurant that is next door, Restaurant 17. We can't wait!
So lots of positives and some areas for improvement
The hotel is a modern construction but is very well designed, comfortable and interesting. It has pretty few rooms so does make it pretty uniquely boutique in Usa terms.
Our room was lovely but wish we...More
A bit apprehensive as the hotel is known for it’s association with riding. My husband and friends are experienced riders, I am not. However my fears were unfounded. The hilly terrain was ideal for the riders in our group and the easy access to shopping...More

I am not sure about access to hiking immediately adjacent to the resort. The Greenville watershed is spectacular and is featured on several of the organized rides, but there is extreemly limited public access as it serves as the water supply for Greenville- cars arent even allowed to stop along the roads through the watershed as the state doesnt want people trashing the area. The staff at the hotel and the ride guides are all local and I am sure they'd know about non-cycling activities in the area and could recommend. It would be hard to imagine there are not other things to do there. The staff is truly wonderful, they are all about making your stay fantastic
