The staff is very pleasant and welcoming. Parking was well lighted. Rooms average and on small size but clean, HVAC works with little noise and room was pretty quiet from outside & inside noises. Breakfast is still limited but not bad for Covid conditions.

Upon arrival which my family had two rooms booked, it was discovered that the room with two beds appeared to have been smoked in. I went back to the front desk and requested a route change to which I was told they had no more rooms with two beds. The front desk clerk on duty was extremely nice and very professional I asked her to contact her supervisor which she did. The supervisor/manager that she called gave the same answer saying they had no room for two beds and we could either stay in the room that was musty and smelled like smoke or move to a king size bed with a sleeper sofa. Given that having to 75 year old ladies one sleeping on a sofa bed and the other on the king-size bed was not a desirable option. I requested to be moved to another hotel nearby to which the manager/supervisor refused from the phone. I was extremely disappointed given that I am a lifetime titanium elite and she was not helpful. In the end we were given no choice but to except the king size room with a sofa bed in the two unrelated 75 year old ladies slept together on a king size bed for five nights. There was no compensation offered even though we had had those rooms booked for several weeks. The Hotel Overall is extremely clean and well-maintained. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful except during check-in. I want to point out the front desk agent was extremely nice and did everything she could do however she had to follow the guidelines being provided by your supervisor.

The breakfast is a huge huge disappointment. Very limited selection the two hot items were in preheat bags each morning. My family and I chose to go to a restaurant and have breakfast given the limited selection and poor choices. In the future I am quite confident that we will seek a hotel elsewhere. They would not assist us and give us a room that did not have a smoke smell musty odor with two beds. The two ladies I was traveling with made the best of the situation however it was far from ideal and in my opinion could’ve been handled much better by getting lodging at another Marriott nearby in particular given lifetime titanium elite status.

I was highly impressed with this beautiful place! The rooms and especially the bathroom were immaculate! The associates were top notch and super friendly. There was a delay in getting the room so the friendly associate apologized and offer me free drinks and snack! I will return! I loved this place. I did not get to utilize the gym (underwent a medical procedure so I was too weak to work out at the gym) but every area of the hotel was spotless! The manager moved throughout the property directing the associates and keeping on top of things. Much appreciated customer service!

We stayed for six nights. The staff was not very bright and superficially polite.

Requested room location was not given, and had to change rooms twice to get a quiet spot away from the ice machine that kept waking us up.

They put a $125 hold on our account above the room prices for "potential damages and incidentals" without telling us.

Air conditioner made a buzzing whistling sound that was annoying and disturbed our sleep.

Sound insulation is poor so we could hear the toilet and shower being used upstairs.

Food was OK, but generic and bland.

Security door in entrance portal was unlocked because of a defective door catch that we had to alert the front desk to.

Beds were comfortable with three pillows per bed. Room was clean with plenty of hot water in the shower.

Dear RoamerRandy, I am very sorry to hear that your stay was anything short of wonderful. We strive to provide all our guests with a comfortable, hassle-free stay and it is apparent that your experience fell short of that. I do see that upon arrival you made several requests about the room regarding which side of the building, where it was located along the hallway, and which floor it was on. While we tried to meet these requests to the best of our ability, it was difficult to accommodate them all due to the hotel being close to sold out upon your arrival. As a recommendation for the future, please feel free to contact us prior to arrival and let us know about those requests. We are always happy to accommodate and do take all reservation requests into account when preparing for guests to arrive. I also want to assure you that we do not require a loss or damage deposit from our guests. Any additional amount that you see as a pending transaction is simply an authorization placed to verify funds for any incidentals such as purchases from our 24/7 corner market, enhanced Wi-Fi, etc. Your bank may place a hold on those funds, but they are not transferred to us, and if there are not incidental purchases the full amount is released back to your account by the bank. I would recommend checking with them for information about their individual policies on how long they hold funds before releasing them. Thank you for being our guest. The thermostat in our room has been glued so you can not adjust the fan to low to circulate air nor can you crack a window. Basically, unless you freeze yourself by running the a/c or overheat by running the heat, there is no way to circulate air in our room. We stayed at a Fairfield Inn last weekend and had no issues with this. The GM said by setting all of the rooms to auto, it helped to maintain the temp in the rooms. This is breaking CDC guidelines for air circulation.

Extremely on the bottom end of the Marriott chain. Noise from road and even non highway side is loud. Breakfast is in a bag but they obviously leave them sitting out for long periods of time cause the milk for cereal was chunky twice. No staff anywhere to talk to. Avoid!

So this hotel isn’t the nicest, isn’t the fanciest, isn’t the most expensive, or even middle expensive, has basic services, but in all honesty, it’s my go to if my favorites aren’t available in the Greenville area. Always clean always comfortable and always enjoy my stay. Definitely recommended.

The hotel was wonderful. I got everything I requested. The only press the a/c was really loud. I was so tired I fell asleep.

Close to everything & staff was great. I’d stay again.

I told the front desk next day & she apologized & said she’d take care of it.

I’m sure they would of switched rooms but I was ok.

Pulled out the couch and there was a hypodermic needle on the bed. When telling the front desk there was no response other than an apparent eye roll. No basic I’m sorry or anything else. I think a needle being left behind is a hazard and dirty, so beware.

I was in town for business for a few days, and this place turned out to be a really nice, clean, quite hotel. Fit me needs perfect. good breakfast ( usually why I stay) centrally located to where I was going. located near shopping, and restaurants. When I am back in town I will definitely stay here.
