Have been vacationing at Seabrook for over 30 years. It's gated, quiet, uncrowded beaches along with access to tennis, great golf and equestrian facilities. Couldn't ask for a better vacation location with only a 25 minute or so drive into Charleston.
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet here. But I have to agree there is a shortage of places to eat. You only have the very expensive restaurant choice or the one by the pool which is super nice but not always open. (Like we...More

Seabrook is such a lovely island. If I was going for my honeymoon I would look into Pelican Watch Villas or The Atrium locations. There is no hotel on this island, but the sister island, Kiawah, has a gorgeous hotel. Depending on the season, rates will vary anywhere from $100-200 per night for a one bedroom unit.

Check vrbo or Pam Harrington reality for long term rental rates. Tennis club or high hammock will be the cheapest and Pelican Watch is beachfront and will be more expensive. All places will have outdoor parking space.
