Stayed two nights while visiting friends nearby. New, modern decor. Easy, early check-in. Convenient nearby shopping and chain restaurants. Very comfortable bed, spacious, well-appointed room and bath. Nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. Glad this was our choice.

Let me begin by saying that our room was immaculately clean when we arrived, very spacious, and we slept well. The bed was very firm, which we like, and everybody who has ever slept at a Holiday Inn will attest to the fact that the pillows are divine.
However, there were disappointments from the get go. Being disabled, I asked whether there was a seated elliptical in the gym. Unfortunately, all the machines assume an able body, thus - despite having rooms for disabled people - the gym ignores our needs. I then asked about the pool (figuring I could exercise in there) only to be told it was closed. Basically 2 of the amenities for which we picked Holiday Inn, were unavailable.
There was a walk in shower, with a pull down seat, however, when sitting on the seat, the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were behind your head, which made no sense and was difficult to reach even with twisting sideways.(see photo)
While we were out, our room was cleaned and we came back to a wonderfully fresh smell of aloe and green tea. The maid did an awesome job and when I saw her, I told her so. In fact, all of the staff were smashing. The lady who prepared the breakfasts made us feel like family, nothing was too much for her.
Overall, we had a good stay and would prob stay again if we were going to Greenwood.

First, the hotel was extremely clean. They are doing a great job taking precaution with regard to COVID 19. We felt very comfortable staying there.
Also, the staff was incredibly friendly.
The breakfast; however, was a joke. There was no hot chocolate, chocolate milk, orange juice or apple juice. The cranberry juice tasted like water. The only hot items offered were egg white omelets and turkey sausage. Breakfast was scheduled for 6:30 - 9:00. At 7:30 my wife and I both got a bagel. Those were the last two bagels. The person in charge of making sure guests have a great start to their day is not meeting expectations.

Noisy overnight, room location was ground level at end of the hall by the exterior door. People hanging out smoking outside, door left open (security issue) so they could get back in without a key. I would not suggest this location if possible, if you do stay there make sure to be on upper floors.

I'll start with the good.
Comfy beds and large rooms with decent technology and was nice to see direct TV.
Bad:
Bathroom wall paint peeling
Our room was right above an outdoor seating area where there were the same group of people loud and carrying on well past 1am and when this was reported nothing changed.
This isn't a resort or a hotel with any type of night life therefore people are primarily here to sleep which was difficult in the situation.
We paid a premium price for subpar accomodations.

The accommodations are great. Very nice and clean. Although the front desk are nice, they are very unaware of anything other than checking in or out. They are ignorant as to charges and how they are accessed. You cant take my money, in excess of the amount that I was told and unable to explain, also they are oblivious as to how to even print out a receipt. Educate front desk on basics...Please. Other than that, great stay

Newer hotel as the old HI Ex in Greenwood is now a Comfort Inn. This property was very clean, comfortable, great breakfast, and in a good location. While there is not much in there anymore, you can walk over the the mall. There are several restaurants and stores nearby. Not downtown, or as there say "Uptown" here, but just a short drive to uptown and Lander University. Also just a few minutes to Lake Greenwood.
My only gripe that they used, in my opinion and tastes, way too much laminate faux wood in the rooms. It cheapens the decor. However, that aside, it was a great stay and will stay again.

Many of my friends said they have overcharged their account! and front desk staff are scammers I talked to the General manager who's name is Catherine who overcharged my card and did not seem to mind acted like it was a accident something didn't seem right with her.

I’m currently at this hotel. Last nights noise level was at 1000. I asked the young lady working tonight if anyone was above me tonight and she said that there was not. She lied. It seems children are running or stomping above our head. We’re on the 3rd floor. The carpet it dirty and there was a sticky film On the floor that I got up myself with Lysol wipes. I’m so ready to check out. I would ask for another on on the 4th floor but it’s too much of a hassle to move. I won’t be staying here again. You’ve been warned.

We have family in Greenwood and have stayed at this Holiday Inn 3 times over the past year and a half. All three times, the room was not clean. The linens in the bathroom and on the bed were great! The furniture was clean. The floors and the bathroom not so much. The entryway floor was not clean. There was visible dirt. The carpet was damp and dirty. Not the best feeling on bare feet. Yuck!! The bathroom was not as bad this time but still needed attention. There was visible mold along the track in the door. And there was dirt behind the door like it hadn't been closed to clean. There was a film on the floor too. I kept towels down to keep from standing on it with bare feet. We won't stay here again.
