Hotel's Favourite
We are currently at the hotel for our daughters softball tourney this weekend. It also happens to be our 15th wedding anniversary today. We checked in yesterday and I asked the staff if they would help me out by storing flowers in their back room so I could pull them out early in the morning to surprise my wife at breakfast. The GM and his staff were extremely accommodating offering to store the flowers and even set a bottle of wine and a hand written card out for my wife this morning. It is refreshing to find a place where customer service and kindness is part of their culture. A heart felt thank you to all of them helping me start our anniversary day off right.

The service was exceptional at this hotel and the staff made me feel as though I was their most important guest. The breakfast manager was sweet and thoughtful; the front desk reps were pleasant and accomodating; the cleaning staff was remarkable and attentive to detail. I am a long-time Hampton Inn guest and this was one of my most pleasant stays ever. I would have easily stayed longer if I could have delayed my flight!!

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and comfortable but Housekeeping had not done a thorough job when he checked in and we had to request missing items including soap. Breakfast was less impressive than most Hilton hotels- no Greek yogurt, bananas or whole grain bread.

We checked out of this hotel this morning. I absolutely loved the styling and newness of the hotel. The employee who checked us in yesterday was a delight. The room size of the queen bed suite was perfect for our family.
However, this was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed at, before covid or after covid. There was so much trash overflowing out of the trash cans in front of the lobby doors that they spilled onto the floor. We literally had to step over litter to get into the main lobby.
On our 3rd floor, the floors in front of the elevator were sticky. The hallways were just as bad, it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time. There was trash stacked in the hallway outside of people’s rooms and remained there when we checked in at 7 pm until when we checked out the next morning at 9am. The floors in our room were also unvacuumed and there were drops of coffee on the “clean” cups and lids in the room when we entered. Trash fell out of the pull out couch when we opened it.
We came down for breakfast at 7:40 am. There was an employee working the area, and I asked him where the eggs were. He said they didn’t have any. There were egg toppings available like salsa, ham, and shredded cheese, but no eggs. Then we asked where the spoons were for the cereal and milk. They didn’t have any. Also napkins were gone. That was a somewhat easy fix, as I just went into the lobby bathroom and got paper towels. Other guests did the same. Things like spoons, napkins, and even eggs for that matter could’ve been bought at a nearby grocery store if they were missing from a delivery truck. It was odd that multiple customers were going into the bathroom and passing out paper towels to each other, when an employee could’ve easily done the same.
There was also a thick layer of dust on the fixtures and shelves surrounding the breakfast area and tables.
I have frequently stayed at Hampton Inn and can usually trust their standards. I specifically chose this hotel because of the high ranking for cleanliness. At the time of booking, this was one of the highest ranked hotels, a 9/10 for cleanliness. Sadly, this Hampton Inn does not deserve this high ranking.

I’m here restoring power my ninth day from the hurricane in the same this motel accepts animals which I dearly love. I have had very few hours of sleep working 16 on 8 off the room below has a small dog barking none stop for two nights now even after visiting the front desk both nights and it has not stopped. I will be here for several more weeks trying to work on power lines living here for a while. I will keep you posted but highly do not recommend staying here dogs barking non stop.

Hampton Inn has always been my go-to when I am not camping. This particular Hampton Inn is in a great location and near everything you need to find in Greenville. Great customer service, impeccably clean, all without breaking the bank. Will definitely stay here again!

I was in town for a quick business trip and I needed a convenient hotel near the airport. So glad I selected the Hampton Inn.. very safe & comfortable ... great hot breakfast as well.. Just be aware that the airport shuttle has limited operating hours... Easy to get a cab from the airport but more expensive during late hours... better to use a shared ride.

First, it was tedious to check-in. The person at the front desk was new and didn’t know what they were doing. Then, when I called down to the front desk because we were short on towels, no one answered. I had tried several times and rang different extensions trying to get ahold of someone, but no luck. I went down to search for someone and found a couple people in the office behind the desk. I got my towels, but thought it odd that neither bothered to answer the phone.
The biggest issue was the next morning - breakfast. Before committing to a hotel, I had called around to find a hotel that was truly offering a full hot breakfast since my daughter can’t have gluten and my husband is vegetarian. The breakfast is a big factor when we choose a hotel since I just want to start the day with everyone well-fed and not making an extra stop before we continue on the next leg on our journey.
I was reassured that the hotel would offer eggs and some kind of breakfast meat, as well as yogurt and muffins. However, when we went down for breakfast, we found that that was untrue. While they had a waffle maker and the hot buffet tray out, neither had any food in them. I asked the front desk about breakfast and they said they only do grab and go on the weekends. I was livid – I had asked about breakfast before getting the hotel and they didn’t tell me the truth. The front desk’s response was that they have had trouble due to the worker shortage. I guess this means the person answering the phone was not responsible and didn’t need to be knowledgeable about the hotel? I did try what they offered since the kids were still asleep. The bread was stale, the sausage biscuit was inedible, and the coffee was full of grounds. When I went back to the front desk again to ask for tea bags since the coffee was full of grounds, they just got me tea bags. They made no effort to even fix the coffee.
I was floored by how little the staff cared. The assistant manager wanted me to understand that breakfast was complementary, so I should have no expectations. I should just appreciate that they had some food available, but there were no requirements for a hot breakfast.
OK – that said, the suite was large and comfortable. Although we are near the airport, I only heard a plane once, so it was fairly quiet. We ended up not using the showers since we went out for breakfast (argh), so I can’t comment on that. I just thought the customer service was terrible and was upset that breakfast was a disaster. We need to stay another night in Greenville, but won’t stay here unless everything else is booked!

Very disappointed with this Hampton Inn. We are Diamond members which was not acknowledged, no waters offered, no information on when breakfast was being served or WiFi info. The breakfast was a joke, no tongs to use to get bagels or bread. There was no jam, peanut butter, or cream cheese. One of the dishes that had honey in it had an opened honey package which had spilled into the dish. There was no juice offered, the milk had been sitting un-chilled for a bit because it was warm. Only two cereal types to choose from, no yogurt offered, the hot water for the oatmeal wasn’t hot. There was not a staff member in charge of the breakfast area. Very disappointing breakfast experience.
The rooms were very spacious and clean.

This hotel was excellent. From the moment we walked into the hotel and were greeted at the check-in desk we were extremely pleased with what we saw. This hotel is conveniently located near the Spartanburg-Greenville International Airport. If you need shuttle service the hotel provides this service without extra charge. In addition to shuttle service to the airport this hotel will take you to a destination within 5-miles of the hotel and pick you up. This was an unexpected bonus. We appreciated the kind service and extremely comfortable and roomy hotel room. You won't be disappointed.

I stayed at the Hampton inn & suites a lot of times. Any room that comes with the Wetbar is the biggest room they have. It's the most luxurious and premium room they offer. Now for the room with snacks. Never had that room at this hotel. Only at Embassy and suites you get snacks in rooms. But who knows they may put snacks in these rooms now. It's been a while since I've been there. But wet bar rooms are the biggest rooms
Good Day, Margie. My response is much the same as that from the Naples, FL reviewer; room rates are variable depending on lots of factors. I paid ~ $140 for a night at this location in October but this was likely a corporate rate for my employer, through whom I booked the room. I know that if you book online you can get a cheaper rate by signing in using HIlton Honors ID and password before proceeding to actually making the reservation. If you have enough HH points you can use these to cover your stay, but I am not aware of any deal between Hilton properties and TripAdvisor. The hotel is one of the best Hampton Inn franchises I have stayed at and it is worth some time to see if you can finagle a good price.
