The location is close to more than 20 restaurants within 1 mile. We are 100% smoke free and fully interior corridor. Our Single Queen room does not offer a microwave due to the small size but all other room types do have that amenity and we have a community microwave in the breakfast area.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One night stay while traveling . Room was clean and everything you need to stay for a night or more . After reading so many bad reviews for hotels in the Carolinas , it’s scary trying to find a clean place with no bedbugs , no strange smell , scary people hanging out in the parking lot , weed or smokey smell in room , etc . Even the more expensive hotels have bad reviews .

It’s sad because I love the Carolinas where I grew up and miss so much, now living in Las Vegas for so long . The only complaint I have is my hairdryer didn’t work , so I went to my son’s room next door and used his . The lady at the check in counter was nice and she let us check the room before checking in . The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was cool and not loud . No microwave , but mini fridge , coffee maker , TV with DirectTV , safe , phone , alarm clock .

Not a 5 Diamond Resort like I work at in Las Vegas , but I definitely recommend for a stay . I got a great price on Priceline of $56 with taxes included per room . Luggage carts by front door and restaurants close by . Top Golf across the street .

When it’s “Econo” you can’t really expect nice. Towels were tiny, shampoo was terrible, no conditioner, soap was good, water was hot, bed was comfortable and the room was clean, pillows were not good, no breakfast. The aircon was on high when I arrived and the room was freezing but I turned on the heat snd it became comfortable. I asked for late checkout and they gave me an hour but when I put up a do not disturb sign the cleaners knocked anyway. For the price it was acceptable, not exceptional.

where do I even begin? I think sleeping on rat poop would've been better than that room. It says you have to be 18 to be considered an adult here, and I'm 20, so tell me how they wouldn't let me get the room I already paid for. I had to wait for my older girlfriend to get here so we could go inside. I paid for a double bed, and when I got into the room, it was literally the size of a shoebox with one bed. There was no water pressure, bugs were crawling around all over, the toilet was flooded with poop all over, and the room service lady tried to get me switched into another room because she said she felt terrible for me. Still, the lady at the front desk wouldn't even let me do that. I have to wait for my girlfriend to get here again so she can change it for me.

Highly disappointed. Originally checked into a dirty/musky room... pizza boxes with crust in them sprite bottles, half used rolls of toilet paper. Different room, bathtub disgusting with flakes of something brown in it, mold on tub. NO drink machines working, one wasn’t even on and operating and the other took the money. No breakfast, whatsoever. Q

The room was clean and conveniently located in the location I was visiting. The office staff was amiable and helpful. The bed was comfortable and though I was close to a major highway the noise was muted. I would definitely stay here again.

Never coming back. This place needs to be S H U T D O W N! Elevator hasn't been serviced since 2018 < or >. Place is not up to code. Really looks like some shady things are going on at this place. Faulty wiring. Rooms are not sound-proof. I Step in the shower, and I'm freighted that I may, possibly, FALL through the ceiling of the room that's underneath me. I could hear every neighbor. Up above me. Next to me. And even the ones' across the hall! This is seriously, ridiculous. Who, in the state of, South Carolina, ALLOWED this place to be 'Open for Business'?!

I cannot in good conscience recommend Econolodge to anyone after the abhorrent treatment my friend received at the hands of a blatantly racist front desk associate. Despite being in desperate need of shelter during a rainstorm, my African American friend was met with disdain and prejudice. The front desk associate not only denied him a room but also stripped him of his dignity with her belittling and berating demeanor. It's appalling that in this day and age, such blatant discrimination still exists. Econolodge should be ashamed of allowing such behavior to represent their brand. Discrimination has no place in hospitality, and until Econolodge addresses this issue, I will not support their establishment.

The rooms are clean, the showers are great. Breakfast is better than others at this level and the staff is amazing. They are so nice and of the several times my bf and I have stayed here no one has ever been even unpleasant to be around. Will definitely continue to come back.

My family and I stopped in Grrenville on our way to Savannah because we got a late start on our travels. We decided to stay at a cheap motel because we were just going to sleep and leave first thing in the morning. Upon reading the reviews, I thougt this would be a safe bet. Boy was I wrong! This hotel was disgusting! The towels and sheets were dingy and the mattress looked like it was disposed of after a crime scene. The bathroom had a mold hole above the shower that went all the way through the wall. The hallways had a funky sour smell. Luckily we checked in at 3 am and left promptly at daybreak. This place has no business renting rooms. Stay away from it!
