I have stayed at hundreds of Springhill Suites locations and feel, generally, it’s the most consistent and freshest of Marriott brands nowadays. I always try to say something positive in a review, and the front desk staffer who checked me in was really friendly.
Not sure what’s going on with this property. It’s beautiful from the outside, but on the inside it’s shabby and dated.
My room was totally different than a standard Springhill room and it looked and felt exactly like a hospital room to be honest. The shower had such bad pressure it was hard to take a shower, and there was mold and peeling wallpaper.
Overall, the place didn’t seem too clean either.
Not a property I’d stay at again.

This was our second stay, first time we had no complaint. Unfortunately this time we had a room on the first floor at the end of the hallway next to exit door, and at night when we returned the area near the door was very dark and the lights by the door were not working. I feel this is very unsafe. Also we had kids knocking on our door and running out the exit (which is not the hotel's fault). So if you stay try not to be near exits on the first floor

Was recommended by a friend unfortunately due to mother nature wasn’t able to stay but I wanted to point out a gentleman by the name of Justin front desk manager very pleasant to talk to and helped me with my reservation after spending all day speaking with third party online to cancel my reservation he was able to successfully cancel my reservation. Because of him I look forward in booking a feature reservation at this location. Thanks Justin. *Mrs. Rayborn

I was traveling with my family. I had two rooms. As normal I take caution and wipe all hard surfaces with disinfecting wipes and spray disinfect and soft surfaces. I flipped back my sheets only to soiled sheets in two of the rooms. The stain measured approximately 8 inches long. There is no way a housekeeping could have missed this. Solid pillows that were grossly stained with yellow and brown rings. The pillows did not have pillow protectors. My room had POOP yes POOP SPLATTERS in the toilet as well as sticky looking dries urine stains under the toilet seat. Long and short hairs were all over the floor. A dirty paper plate was in the microwave. To Management I recommend retraining the housekeeping staff. Especially in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Its unfortunate three rooms had major issues. I could only imagine what the cleanliness of the other rooms are.

We stayed one Saturday night. Hotel seemed pretty full from the looks of the parking lot. Check in took 2 minutes and went smooth. The king room was a decent size and clean. The king bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had a separate sink area and both were clean. Breakfast in the morning was well stocked even near breakfast closing. I did not see hard boiled eggs and Patty brought me 2 to my table from the back. She said they are served weekdays as well as a few other items not on Sunday. The breakfast and tables were clean. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fruit water were available 24 hours. Computer and printer worked fine in the lobby. I would stay again. I'm not sure what all the poor reviews are about.

Memorable for all the wrong reasons!!
Absolutely the WORST hotel experience we ever had! Dirty with stains on the sheets...crumbs on the sleeper sofa. I'm pretty sure they never cleaned the room between guests. Only 2 towels for 5 of us. No extra pillows and extra blankets for the pull out sleeper. Halls smelled like weed and a body odor/Italian sub combo. Thank God the kids weren't set on swimming because the mini pool had a gross, white filmy sheen on top of it.
Breakfast was minimal and they wouldn't replenish the eggs, cereal or fruit. At one point they brought out new sausages that were still gray and uncooked. Bananas were green. Another group of our family members also stayed and had a mouse in their room and mouse poop on their pullout sleeper. They would not move them to another room, just offered to comp but they couldn't use the sleeper so some slept on the floor with just a sheet and pillow.
And not sure what some people are saying but there is NO bar here. Just a cooler in the lobby but the beer is skunked so don't get your hopes up.
Just the WORST!!

I always try to stay at Marriott properties and have stayed at many SpringHill Suites in the past. This was actually the worst Marriott brand hotel I have ever stayed at. The only things positive I can say is that the staff was friendly and the hotel appeared clean. Unfortunately, it’s a bit older and it needs a refresh. My room had a broken bed (loud metal noise any time I sat or shifted on it - I’m a normal sized guy so it wasn’t me). The TV has large areas where it was white due to dead pixels. The toilet wouldn’t flush completely, so I had to spend all week flushing multiple times. The sink would take 5 minutes before hot water for shaving would come out. They need to renew the rooms badly.
I also had difficulty getting the room taken care of. Marriott gives the customer the option of having their room made up every two days. I asked for that when I checked in on Sunday. Tuesday evening, I noticed my room hadn’t been cleaned. I went to the front desk and they told me it would be done on Friday. I thought that was strange because two days from then would be Thursday - but they were looking at me like it made sense to them so I asked if they could at least get the garbage tomorrow (Wednesday). On Friday, when I noticed that they hadn’t done my room, I asked them to give me new towels and they said they would clean it on Saturday (my last scheduled night there).
At this point I was frustrated and asked if I could check out early and was told that I would still have to pay for Saturday night. I still would up leaving early. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff has been accommodating and helpful despite large wedding party checking in and filling the lobby. Unfortunately hotel is very worn with torn wall paper throughout the hall ways. Layout of room is odd and somewhat dysfunctional. Sofa bed mattress very thin and worn. Dirty stains on wall, dresser and curtains in room. Halls smell of marijuana. Would move hotels if we were staying more then one night but paying nearly $180 is outrageous for a room at this property. Loyal Marriott rewards member but will rethink Marriott over Hilton after this experience.

I understand the pool is closed and the breakfast is reduced due to COVID-19. But the "hotel" was disgustingly dirty and the employees by and large didn't care. When we checked into our room as a family of four, there was only one towel. The following day, our room wasn't cleaned even though we were out all day, and we had to call for towels again. An employee promptly brought towels but no washcloths. I just don't think COVID-19 can be blamed for this.
The room was also extraordinarily dirty. I really haven't stayed in a room this filthy since I was in college and couldn't afford better. For a Marriott-branded property, I expected better. The carpet and sofa were stained, as was the sofa bed mattress. A switch plate had fallen off the wall and was lying in the middle of the room on the floor with the screw when we checked in. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bathroom, and the molding was peeling off in the bedroom. I can roll with the punches and am not terribly picky, but it was apparent no one cared about this hotel.

Terrible Experience with Front Desk – Assistant General Manager Daniel Delaney
I stayed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Willowgrove and while most of the stay was pleasant, the treatment my wife and I received from the front desk—especially from Assistant General Manager Daniel Delaney—was absolutely unacceptable.
Daniel Delaney was incredibly rude and dismissive during check-in. Despite having a confirmed reservation, he told us the hotel was "sold out" and only proceeded with the check-in after we provided proof of payment. His attitude was hostile and seemed intentionally obstructive.
What made the situation worse was that he demanded my wife, who had recently undergone heart surgery, to personally come to the front desk to verify a credit card that had already been accepted. This unnecessary demand caused my wife great distress and put her health at risk, showing a complete lack of empathy or professionalism.
We’ve also discovered that other guests have reported similar behavior from the front desk in online reviews. This type of service is damaging to the reputation of the hotel, and I would advise future guests to proceed with caution when considering a stay here.
Marriott should take immediate action to address the issues with their front desk staff, as the experience we had with Daniel Delaney has left us deeply disappointed.
