I'm a little torn leaving a 3 star rating but we stayed here a couple of weekends ago then returned the following weekend because we fell in love with some of the parks in the area. There were no real issues during our first stay other than the fact that there is a random homeless guy who wanders around the parking lot picking up cigarette butts to smoke and the fact that he was hanging out near the lower level entrance door made me a bit nervous when taking our dog out to go to the bathroom after dark (I did go to the front desk but they were pretty dismissive and unconcerned, just stating "oh that's a local homeless guy, I'll go talk to him". Other than that our first visit was pleasant, quiet and no issues, our room was even made up while we were out exploring local parks (haven't had that happen during any of our stays at any hotel since covid hit).

Our second stay was equally quiet but check in took a lot longer for some reason but we were given the room we had the previous weekend as I had requested and I was happy with that. Once we got into our room I opened the curtains and immediately saw lip prints on 2 different window panes, not sure how the housekeeper missed this but I'm not super picky so I just took an antibacterial wipe and cleaned them up myself. The next morning when I went to the lobby for the "grab & go" breakfast there was nothing out nor was there anyone at the desk. I decided to grab some coffee while I waited but that was not to be, the only carafes that had anything in them were the hot water and decaf. Finally the desk clerk came out from the back so I asked if there was any fruit, pastries or juices and he said that all they had was 2 different heat and go breakfast sandwiches which didn't sound at all appetizing considering breakfast here runs 7-10 I can only imagine how long those sandwiches have been sitting around. I asked about the coffee and was informed the machine broke (interestingly the decaf was full so I really feel like he just couldn't be bothered to make a new pot). At that point I was a little frustrated, after all hot water and a tea bag are not what I would consider any type of breakfast and definitely not what I would expect from Quality Inn. Upon returning to my room I was fixing up the bed and realized that there was a huge tear in the comforter, it should have been replaced not put onto a guest bed. We saw the same homeless guy each evening of our stay so clearly management is perfectly fine with paying guests feeling unsafe and uncomfortable.

Overall the hotel is clean and the area is quiet so we had no issues getting a good night's sleep, the parking lot is well lit and all the security doors did actually work - requiring your key card for entry.

At checkin, I already knew there were going to be problems. The two people at the desk were not friendly, they were shabbily dressed and very difficult to understand. My elderly mother insisted that she wanted to do the checkin, and because of her slow movement in placing her cc in the machine, they began yelling at her! It was horrible. As we went to the room, we passed several other employees who also looked disheveled and did not acknowledge us. We then had to fight with the elevator to take us up to our floor. Once we got in the room, I at first thought it was clean, but there was disgusting amounts of mold in the bathtub under the soap tray. Needless to say, we did not bathe in that filth. Then, when I wet to open the drapes, there was actually a real fish hook hanging in the sheets and it almost punctured my hand. There were vagrant people inside and outside the building and no security. It was seriously a bad scene. When we went downstairs to get “continental breakfast” there was a guy vacuuming the area where we got coffee & he didn’t stop or go someplace else. Then when I asked where we could go to eat...this junky looking brown bag”breakfast,” we were told to go back to the room. Wow. Terrible service, not safe, filthy bathroom, staff not uniformed or name tagged and the two times I tried to call the front desk?no one ever answered! The owners of this place have it all wrong. The location is fantastic and the property could be a jewel.

The facility is older and there are steps at the entrance so if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage you will need to pull around to the back entrance which is all on one level. We were not told of this at check- in and discovered this on our own , so dragging the luggage up the stairs in the beginning could have been avoided. The rooms are small and like other reviewers said the pillows are square, but I actually had 2 of the best nights sleep in a long time with those pillows. There is minimal space for luggage so I would not recommend this as a place to stay for more than a few days as we had to live out of our luggage which was on the floor. The bed was comfy and the bathroom very clean and very white. They are still doing bag breakfasts even though most other Choice hotels have switched back to more variety. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice place to stay while traveling near Philadelphia.

I really enjoyed this hotel, it's a very spacious laid out hotel. The rooms are also very spacious and clean. Check-in was fast and the employees here are very kind and courteous. Although they don't offer breakfast in the morning, they give you a bag which has water, and an egg and cheese sandwich, and a granola bar, which is decent. This hotel is very affordable, it's really a nice place for the money. Highly recommend.

Great room at an inexpensive price.
The hotel room was comfortable and clean. I was surprised the rooms were as inexpensive as they were for the quality of the room. The breakfast was more than just toast and bagels, it had eggs and sausage too. Wifi was very good.

I booked a room for a 2 night stay. Arrived at 7:45pm to check in and was told my room was cancelled. When I told them I didn't cancel I was informed that the hotel cancelled my room because they ran my card and it was declined. I knew there was no problem with my card and ask the desk person to try my card again and he refused saying that even if the card worked the room was no longer available. I asked when they had supposedly run my card and was told they tried it 15 minutes earlier and claimed that my room was no longer available. The only alternative they gave me was a different room at a $35.00 price increase. I had no choice so I took the room. They also told me they had no room available for my 2nd night. I somehow was able to pay for the new more expensive room with the same card that they told me was declined. The whole story made no sense and they were not wiling to do anything about it. As I was checking out in the morning I overheard them telling another guest the same story of the declined card and my friend who was staying at the same hotel on Friday night heard them telling a 3rd guest the same declined card run around about 30 minutes before I tried to check in.

You get what you pay for. This is a mediocre property for a cheaper price. Somehow, although the property was clean, it manages to appear dirty, or at least dingy. The front desk is often not staffed as the desk clerk has to do other things. The workout room has no weights and looks as if an old gym dumped a bunch of cardio equipment in there that they no longer needed. The breakfast was fine, but pretty minimal. Heating system comes on at night to wake you up.

I tried to check in around 1230 am after booking through traveluro. I was informed that I had reserved the room for that day, which meant I couldn't check in til 3 pm. No chance to upgrade since bought thru a 3rd party vendor, and no more rooms of my type available. But he says I can early check in at 7 am for an extra fee of 25 bucks. So I try and take a nap in my car in the parking lot, wait til 8 am, go in to a new front desk clerk and she tells me my room qont be available until 3 pm, it's still occupied. Can I get a different room? Nope, cuz this is quality inn, and we hate you. And, of course, everything is non refundable.

Room was small but comfortable and clean. The fan on the AC/heater was inoperable and ran 24 /7. We chose to think of it as white noise. The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the front desk clerk at check out. There were three of us waiting to check out. We could hear her voice down the hall. After about ten minutes I strolled down to see if she knew we were waiting when she screamed down the hallway to us that she is "doing three different jobs. Read the sign at the desk and wait." We could find no sign at the desk. When she returned, the people in front of me gave their room number for check out and walked away rolling their eyes. She acknowledged that the sign had been turned over and wasn't readable. When I approached to check out, I said to her that she spoke to us in an inappropriate manner. She never looked up, but said to me, "I left a sign and someone turned it over. That's the way I speak to people when they've read the sign. " Rudeness is never appropriate in the hospitality industry. I won't be back simply because of her attitude. Travelers should not accept such treatment, especially since we're all trying to get back to traveling.

Very disappointed that when arriving on a day when the real-feel temp was over 100, the AC in my room was not on. Also the grab-and-go breakfast contained no fruit. Elevator was ancient. Staff was kind, though, and location was very convenient.
