Detailed Reviews
My boyfriend and I stayed at this property for a couple days over Christmas and booked a standard king size room non-smoking. Upon arrival the front desk associate that was checking us in informed us that the hotel had over sold their king rooms and there were no more available and that we would have to instead stay in a room with 2 double beds. I was not pleased with this but I agreed to the room change as it was very late and we were exhausted. The room itself was in OK condition and cleanliness was acceptable. Later that night we found the toilet did not flush on our first use and it was clogged as well as a pretty sizeable amount of water leaking from the rear of the toilet tank. We had to use all our towels to clean up all the water that had leaked out of the tank. First thing the next morning we advised the staff of the issue and they told us maintenance would take care of it and we would be out most of the day so it would be fixed by the time we got back. Once we retured around 330 we found the issue had not been addressed or resolved. I advised 2nd shift staff it had not been fixed and he said he would take care of it. This still was not fixed by the time we came back from being out a 2nd time for dinner. At 9pm at night still no working toilet or replacement towels. The 2nd shift desk staff immediately got defensive and disrespectfully told me it was not his fault and I should've dealt with this warlier that day. He continued to raise his voice and blame me for not dealing with it sooner but also for clogging the toilet in the 1st place. I've never been so disrespected and mistreated by a hotel employee in my life. I'm disgusted with how I was treated. We ended up moving rooms on the complete opposite side of the property so we could have a bathroom that works in the middle of a terrie rain/wind storm when their we vacant rooms on either side of the room we were in but they were conviently not available. The happy ending is though that the next morning Christmas Day I went to speak with the manager to explain this and I spoke with a very kind and sweet associate named Kristie. I explained the situation to her and she was very understanding and pleasant. She immediately took action to make this horrible experience into a wonderful experience. She is such an asset to this hotel staff and sets a phenomenal example of what customer service is all about. If it weren't for Kristie this hotel would've lost money for multiple nights. The 2nd shift staff should ne grateful that someone like Kristie is there to clean up their mess although it is unfortunate

Stayed here with a large family group. Booked several rooms. They could not house us all in the same building so that was inconvenient. Rooms as expected. 2 full size beds, mini fridge, TV. 1 of our lamps did not work. 1 of our room #s was written on the door as the sign had fallen off. Rooms were definitely NOT smoke free even though we requested that and the room sign said it was supposed to be smoke free. There was a roach behind the mini fridge. A guest had a fight of some sort in their room and broke the glass on our way out. Don't know what happened there but we were fine. Parking was OK. Staff was OK. Overall as expected. Would have stayed elsewhere but with relatively short notice and a large group for 1 night only it was OK. Can't beat the price. Cheapest option in area.

Thank you for staying with us and giving us your feedback of your stay. We do our best to make the stay with us as comfortable as possible. Whenever we are notified of an issue either by the guest directly or through online, we address the issue promptly. That being said the guest that broke the glass is not allowed to stay with us any longer and the number for the room that was taken off has been ordered. We also put the guests who smoke in or right outside of the room on do not rent list. Our house keeping follow all protocols when cleaning the room, once in a while couple of things are overlooked. We go over the reviews during staff meeting, this way everyone is aware of which areas we have to improve in. Once again than you for staying with us.

Pro: They are (trying) to gradually upgrade the rooms.
Pro: The people at the front desk are friendly
Con: Bug bites around my ankles (Seems to be chiggers or mites, itches like crazy for two weeks afterward). 4 trips to this hotel over two years, and it happened every time.
Con: Second floor showers have no water pressure, it just dribbles out.
Con: No coffee in lobby "Its been broken a while" was the explanation.

We didn't want to leave our home overnight during the COVID-19 crisis. But when our power went out during a heat wave, we had no choice due to health concerns. We don't live too far from this Red Roof property and the price was right, so we booked a room for two nights (our power was estimated to be out for two and a half days). We weren't looking for much beyond a cool, comfortable place to sleep with a usable shower. Unfortunately, it was a struggle to achieve these goals.
Our first room suffered from weak A/C (I had the temperature turned down to 60°F, but it never cooled off). The shower was literally useless, unless you plastered yourself against the wall to use it. Also, we had one bath towel and washcloth.
I will say that the staff did what it could. We were ultimately moved to a room with better A/C and a functional shower. Surprisingly, when we asked if it would have towels for both of us, we were advised to bring the single towel supplied in our original room, because "we're short of everything." We were also advised to bring the TV remote from that room, too, "just in case."
As it turned out, we didn't need the remote. But it was a good thing we brought the towel, as the new room had no bath towels at all.
Both rooms had at least one hole in the walls, as if someone had punched the walls in a fit of temper.
Finally, with all the construction going on around this location, just finding the entrance was a challenge.
I will say the venue offered clean rooms. But it was a disappointing experience, overall, and we checked out a night earlier than planned.

Thank you for staying with us and taking your time to give us a feedback. The property was recently purchased and plans were to renovate all the rooms and upgrade the rooms. But due to the current situation we had to push back the renovations till after summer. We also had issue with our vendors who were out of stock on certain items. We have received most of the items already but towels will not be in stock till June 20th. We have place ordered with other vendors and they should be here this week. Our goal is to keep the guest happy and satisfied with their stay. It is never our intent to have guest book rooms and than give them discount or refund because of issues with the rooms. But last couple of weeks certain things were out of our hands. Once again thank you for staying with us.

I had stayed here not expecting much because of how much of a cheap price i had payed. But wow, you really get your bang for your buck staying here. First off the rooms meet your basic necessities, nothing was missing, and if i needed more the staff were more than happy to accommodate me. Especially with coffee, i’m a big coffee guy and i won’t lie i was being a pain in the neck for how much i was asking for, but the staff didn’t even bat one eye and gave it to me immediately with great customer service. The service really was the best part. That brings me to my second point, the service was really good. In other bigger hotels they really don’t treat you with the amount of care that a smaller hotel can. But even if a smaller hotel can, most of them won’t. (i guess the money isn’t good enough for them to care). This place is a really good pit stop for traveling on the road and i would suggest them to people who don’t want a long stay but maybe a day or two.

The staff was very unprofessional. The room was very dirty there were people hanging outside of the hotel rooms all night along with workers. My television, phone or remote did not work my entire stay. I barely was able to get clean linen. My kitchenette sink got stopped up and no maintenance was available to fix it. It was the worse experience of my life at a redroof and normally it’s my goto hotel when I vacation or when I just want to get away in my own town but I will NEVER goto a redroof ever again. Worse experience ever. Very embarrassing and frustrating.

I can't think of when we've had such a bad experience in a hotel. We arrived at the room. No heat. Went to front office. The explained to me how to use the thermostat. She had no idea what she was talking about. Went back down to office. She sent what said was a maintenance man. Guy said breaker was blown, he reset it. No electric for lamp, phone was unplugged, no information in the room i.e., no map to facility and nothing about area restaurants, etc. There were post it notes on the door saying "Door" and something else. Refrigerator was dirty. We were only staying one night and it was near to the car dealership we were there to go to, so we stayed. Apparently, some kind of food delivery service couple operates out of the hotel. All night long, doors, talking outside. Morning, coffee maker doesn't work, not sure if it was an electrical issue so we moved around the room. Nope, coffee maker doesn't work. Office also has no coffee. When my husband started telling the new people at the front desk about the night's goings on, he said they had no maintenance man (so we have no idea who helped with our heat or how he had access to the breakers and what else he had access too). We will be looking over other options for hotels from now on and double checking reviews prior to booking.

This hotel is a welfare dump. Nothing but degenerates of life in this place. On approach to our room, the curtains were off the track because the clips that held it to the rod were broken off. The room was dirty; the TV was on and you could not turn it off, change the channel or work the sound. Asked for another room and this DUMP was booked - with free ride illegals! The mangager and staff were ignorant and unprofessional. At first the manager wanted to give us a refund and check us out then refused. I had to call America Express while standing at the window and make a complaint to get the charge wiped away. Stay away from this place! NO decent human would go there!

+1
They assigned me 3 rooms that were all filthy. The first one the beds weren’t made up and no towels. The second one the shower curtain was missing, along with all the towels, the toilet was full of human waist causing the room to smell. The tv & the microwave didn’t work, I try to reset the trip button on the wall socket but evidently there’s a deeper problem somewhere on that side of the room. The third room wasn’t made up either, food droppings all over the floor & a big rat having at it on the food on the floor, the bathroom has to towels or toilet tissues. I don’t know why they turn those room over to the front desk as ready to be used but they weren’t. Or maybe front desk knew about them & just wanted to see if they can make some money off of someone just desperate to sleep & just plain tired for the day. This place is sad now, don’t know what happened
