We stayed at this hotel for my Nieces Wedding and it was the NICEST Doubletree I have ever stayed in. The Decor, Food, The Bar Area, the Free Breakfast, along with the beautiful Hotel Rooms made our stay so Special. We also got to meet the owner of this establishment and we couldn't believe that we were all from the Pittsburgh area. This man takes pride in his hotel and treats his staff like family. We were very impressed and highly recommend this hotel is you're staying in the Reading Pa area. We stayed at the Doubletree this past weekend to attend a show at the Performing Arts Center. As always, it was another great stay. The hotel and rooms are very clean, parking and validation is easy, breakfast and room service were very good, and all staff we encountered were very friendly. Especially nice is the shuttle service to the Performing Arts Center that picks you up at the lobby and then returns to pick you up and bring you back to the hotel after the show is over. This is a great amenity. This hotel opened in 2015 and we stayed here for the first time in 2016. We were so impressed with the quality and the service that we've returned numerous times in the last four years and will continue to do so. Upon entering the hotel you wouldn't know it's four years old as it always looks fresh and clean. We would, and have, recommended this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

We stayed at the hotel because of its convenience to the Santander Arena which is right across the street. We visited the bar after the concert. I thought the drinks were reasonably priced and the bar staff was very freindly. Check in and check out were very easy and staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was included with the stay and was a very nice buffet with hot and cold food options including smoked salmon. We also stayed here in Oct 2017 for a concert and will stay again.

Stayed overnight at the DoubleTree to attend a concert at Santander Arena, which is directly across the street. Our entire stay was great; the hotel is beautifully decorated, very modern and chic. I wish we'd been able to stay more than one night! We had the breakfast buffet in the restaurant and it was good too, lots of choices. The hospitality at this hotel is top-notch; exactly what a Hilton hotel should be. Everyone was extremely friendly; from the front desk, to our waiter, to any worker that we saw! During breakfast a man (not sure if he was the GM of the hotel) came through to ask how our meal was and chatted up all of us who were having breakfast (it was an interesting group after the Judas Priest concert). I thought it was very nice and clearly this hotel pays attention to the small details that make a great stay. Will be back!

This property is our "go-to" whenever we attend a concert in Reading, PA. Being across the street from the Santander Arena and a short walk from the Santander Performing Arts Center (SPAC) is a convenience, but the secret is that this Doubletree has a staff that makes me feel welcome from the moment I walk into the lobby. As a HiltonHonors Loyalty Diamond member, I appreciate when the front desk makes sure to recognize that there are plenty of hotels from which I can choose, yet I stay at a Hilton property. Not ever Hilton property has staff that understands the concept of hospitality, but clearly Doubletree by Hilton Reading has hired a great bunch of people, who really "get it"! Plus, that chocolate chip cookie at check-in is a nice treat. Yes, the train did go by a few times during our stay, including a 5:44 am run, but in our room, we were offered ear plugs and the warning. We have stayed at this hotel several times, mostly when we had concert tickets for shows at SPAC and we do recommend you treat yourself to a stay, even if you are driving in from nearby. If you really want a splurge, the King two room suite has a wonderful panoramic view of downtown Reading and the surrounding hills. The staff at the Cheers Bistro bar are attentive and the bar is a great place to unwind after a show. The attached garage parking is included in the price of the hotel stay. So, if you are thinking of catching a concert in Reading or sightseeing anywhere nearby, treat yourself to a hotel that seems to appreciate your visit.

My family and I had the most amazing stay at this hotel. I really wasn’t expecting the experience to be so amazing. I was looking for a hotel close to the Santander Arena since I was attending a concert there. This hotel is literally across the street which was perfect. The hotel lobby was absolutely beautiful. My 10 year old son said when we walked in “it’s like heaven” lol. But he was right I didn’t except the lobby to be so beautiful. We checked in and received complementary cookies for each of us! The room was very clean and comfortable! My hubby and son didn’t go to the concert with me and decided to enjoy the hotel pool which is heated and also very nice looking. After the concert we all met up and had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The hotel restaurant was wonderful. We met a wonderful hotel staff member named Sugar. She came by our table at dinner and introduced herself and really made us feel welcomed. She also the hotel’s Dream Maker’ . Not sure what that means but she is definitely hard working. I saw her when we went down to the restaurant for breakfast (which btw was amazing and free) and observed her greeting guest, cleaning tables, and just making sure things were running smoothly. Mind you this was 9am in the morning and we first met her the night before at 10pm at night. The hotel is lucky to have such a dedicated employee. Honestly thou, all the employees we encountered were so nice and helpful. The hotel really does have an amazing staff (even the cleaning crew we encountered in the morning). Back to breakfast - yes it was amazing! They had everything you can think of - pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, grits, oatmeal, cold cereal, fruits. I can go on and on. My hubby and I were shocked that it was all complementary. I definitely recommend this hotel! Parking is free too!

Where do I being from my very first phone call to find out about the Location had me in aww I spoke to a very pleasant work by the name of Xiomara and she reassured that they were the PREFECT place for me to be. My daughter is an Allstar cheerleader and the competition was being held across the street not to mention i have the flu. Ms. Xiomara explain to me that I wouldn’t get a better location and she was correct. Once I arrived I was greeted by EVERY member of the staff and was asked if i need help and that was even before they know i was a diamond member(very important factor because i have been to hotels that have ignored me until they found out my status) once returning from the competition their was this wonderful gentleman who work in house keep who name I forgot to get but he definitely went beyond and out to make sure i was comfortable from getting extra blankets to ensure i warm to bringing up a microwave so I can warm up my soup throughout the night (as I previously mentioned I have the flu) I have been a hilton member for an extremely long time and this location have yet been the best service I have ever received from a Hilton brand. Trust me I am by far one hard person to please and the have surpassed my Expectations

From the moment I stepped in the front door for my trip, Luther made sure my every need was taken care of! Luther went above and beyond to provide me premiere customer service, from checking on me consistently, providing options for dinner, and even volunteering to shuttle me to somewhere nice if I didn’t prefer options close by. Anytime he saw me, he made sure to greet me with a warm smile, and check in to see how my stay was. Luther went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. He was very informative and helpful when I had questions. Look forward to seeing him next time.
Mykal was also very accommodating and friendly! Rachel and Randall at the front desk helped me with checking in, and wake up calls. The service for the Bistro was amazing, and Kareem stayed on top of my dishes when finished. The cookie I received at check-in hit the spot after a long day of traveling. The breakfast buffet was absolutely phenomenal along the dinners at the Bistro. Thank you all for a great and personable experience. Hope to be back soon.

Very pleased with this hotel! We travel often for our sons baseball tournaments and this was by far the best hotel we've stayed in for a nearby weekend tournament. The hotel smelled of vanilla whenever you walked in, had comfortable beds, big buffet breakfast in the on site restaurant, and amazing indoor pool that was perfect temp and not overly chlorinated. Parking is in the connected garage which the front desk will validate your ticket for you. Great service by all employees. Will definitely visit again if we are in the area!

1. I think if you have status in the Hilton Honors program ya do? I always get a free breakfast coupon.
