The reviews are correct ! Beautiful clean hotel. I checked in later in evening and it was smooth and professional. Super nice clean spacious room- all new. Loved the ceiling fan in the room- that was a first in a hotel for me- very much appreciated. Bed was fine. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Plymouth Meeting in November 2021. The suite was spacious, but very loud since the highway and particular room are right next to the hotel. I would recommend reserving a room on the opposite side of the hotel to avoid the excessive traffic noise at all times of the day (assuming it is more quiet on the other side), and bring earplugs. We found three boxelder bugs (used Seek app) in the room over the course of our week long stay; they must have been from the tress on the property, Also, when in use the bathroom sink pipes were leaking onto the floor -- had to use large bath towels to dry the puddling water around the sink cabinet. The breakfast was basic and did not include many healthy options, so we bought items from the local Whole Foods to prepare in the hotel room kitchen. The staff were friendly and professional, especially in comparison to other hotels we stayed at in the same area. House cleaning was optional, but fine to not have been in the room due to COVID; it was easy to get fresh towels and toiletries from from staff. Front desk staff member mentioned that some guests were living at the hotel. Uncertain whether we would stay here again.

Overall, we had a good stay. Our suite was spacious & was the 1st we'd been in that even had a ceiling fan. I took off 1 star though as there were a few negatives. The area with the sink opposite the closet is open to the bedroom. That means when you turned on the light, washed your hands, or used the hair dryer, you could wake the person still in bed. A simple pocket door between the alcove & bedroom would have alleviated this design issue. Also, the towel rack for the hand towels was in front & below the sink. If you tended to splash when washing your face, the towels below got all wet!! Our biggest disappointment though was the free breakfast. Day one: no oatmeal & no multigrain bread, a problem for someone who wanted to eat a healthier breakfast... When I asked a server if they had any ketchup, his response was, "Here it is - in a drawer." While I did open the drawer by the buffet & took a couple packets, the server did not put the ketchup out for other guests! Day two: They did have oatmeal. The scrambled eggs were so runny though that I had to use a napkin to soak up the liquid on my plate. From my write-up, it would seem that I should have given this hotel maybe 3 stars. Overall though it was better than the hotel where we'd stayed just 2 weeks before, the Residence Inn by Marriott in Conshohoken, PA.

All the staff at this hotel were very friendly except the clerk when we checked out. I told her that there was plastic over the smoke detector in the bedroom and that the sofa needed cleaning. She could not have shown less interest. But otherwise, lovely staff.
As someone else mentioned, the rooms facing the highway are incredibly noisy all night. Bring earplugs just in case you get one of these rooms. We found the bed to be very plush and comfortable. The climate control was good and not loud. The kitchen is fairly well equipped for a short stay. The rooms were fairly clean, but the sofa was a bit smelly. The free WIFI was pretty bad. I ended up using my data because I kept being thrown off the WIFI.
We stayed here because we were visiting Bryn Mawr. It is a 20 minute circuitous drive to Bryn Mawr, so if that is your destination, you might try to find something closer.
The free breakfast was very average. We were hard pressed to have a healthy meal as everything was loaded with additives, sugar, or just empty calories. There was no cream or milk to go with the coffee - only CoffeeMate. We used the milk that was for the cereal. So I would not select this hotel based on the free breakfast.

The main issue I have with this hotel is that they advertise a "Free Hot Breakfast" and the fitness center and pool. I expected no pool or fitness center and we know that the "Full hot breakfast" probably could not be done, however, here is the replacement breakfast rundown: a small serving of pre packaged cereal, (with NO milk), a small bagel of small scone (and I do mean small, the scone was about 1" x 3"), with NO butter. Instead we received one small pre packaged jelly and peanut butter, which I found strange, and one fruit and nut bar. A better breakfast replacement might have included the above and a pint of milk and a piece of fruit, and it would not have cost much more than what we received. When I asked the manager about these issues he stated they could not find any milk available or make an adjustment to my charges. We spent $20 to have decent breakfast after leaving the hotel.
I certainly understand that with this virus happening I did not expect a full breakfast or the fitness center or the pool, but the place is saving a lot of money by not having to maintain the center or the pool and they could have provided a decent breakfast with the money they saved.
Also, the "full hot breakfast" is still advertised on the website and even more interesting, and annoying to me, is that they advertise the hot breakfast on a poster in the elevator. How hard would it be to take the ad off of the website temporarily and certainly take down the poster in the elevator, and to find a pint of milk and a piece of fruit cannot really be that difficult, run out to WAWA for goodness sake. I did try to resolve these issues with the manager but he would not do anything to help me, so I'm letting everyone know what really happens here.

My 2 daughters, husband and I stayed at the Homewood Suites in Plymouth Meeting. The Hotel looks great! It has a modern decor. The rooms are nice and pretty spacious. Although hotel is somewhat isolated in its location, it is still very close to Plymouth Meeting Mall, and shopping on Chemical Rd. There is only one negative about this hotel for me.....the breakfast! It did not meet my standards. They had powdered eggs, cold hash browns

We have been coming to Homewood Suites Plymouth Meeting for a number of years. Our experiences have always been spectacular—from the room to the breakfasts to the entire facility.
We cannot say enough good things about the whole staff: management, front desk, breakfast attendant and housekeeping.
These folks really know how to make weary road warriors feel at home. They truly understand the whole hospitality concept.

The hotel property itself was nice, and clean. They had a nice barbecue grill and seating area outback for sitting around in the evenings. Complementary breakfast was sufficient and tables were clean. However, room service was very lacking. Front desk staff was nice and said they would provide towels and extra pillows, but I asked on three different occasions and they never brought them.Also requested room service on the day we were supposed to get it but no one ever showed up to the room even after stopping at the front desk to specifically requested it.

The staff at this property was really nice. The room itself is in need of an upgrade. The ceilings, carpets, and sofa were stained. Pots and pans seemed dirty. We were given a room facing the highway and it's incredibly noisy. Ask for a quiet room if you're hoping to sleep. The wifi is very spotty in the room. Also, the TV was old and had no Netflix/streaming option.

This hotel does not follow their own policies and guidelines. They state, you can choose room service or not. Despite our wish to not have anyone in the room, and placing the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. They still entered and moved our items. I don’t know if they were scoping out our room, but anyone staying there should be aware of this.

I actually found the best price on their website using the AAA discount. Be sure to keep checking as the prices can change and you might get a lower price closer to your arrival date
None that I am aware of - people were using the pool three weeks ago when I was last there
