Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I liked the hotel. Very clean. The beds were very confortable. However, I was informed by the front desk that breakfast would be served in the morning, but never specified that there would be a charge for it. There was constant noice in the hallway with doors opening and closing throughout the night and in the morning housekeeping was around very early and the noice entering the other rooms was a bit disturbing.
The A/C / Heater was placed on the wall right below the curtains, so the air would only blow the curtains and heat was not properly distributed throughout the room.
Although I love Marriott properties, I would provably not stay in this particular Courtyard next time.

Nice staff, food was okay, glad they sold snacks, rooms clean, beds are not comfortable at all; Pool had too much chlorine so no fun swimming, noting it's a small pool. Hotel is in a great location, it's near a mall and a 5 min drive to Target/Barnes & Noble. Saturdays appear to be busier, got crowded in the lobby, also as an fyi there is a noise contract you'll have to sign.

I cannot say enough good things about this property. I was here for an extended stay and during my entire time the staff was friendly and attentive. The room was clean, roomy and having a balcony was a nice touch. It also had all the usual Courtyard lobby amenities and the small bistro in the lobby served small meals and drinks. Overall a great experience and I would recommend.

I was not particularly impressed with my stay. The rooms are "newly renovated," but pretty poorly. There is still rust around the door frame in the bathroom, some kind of dried spackle/drywall compound in the bathtub, amd the drawers are duct taped shut to keep them from rolling open on their own.
The breakfast offerings are just sad. In fairness, the hotel did email us before our stay to inform us they were renovating the breakfast area so there would be some disruption. But there was no hot breakfast at all. We're talking prepackaged cereal with cups of milk.
I didn't feel like anything special as a marriott gold member, which is typically not the case when I stay at Hilton properties.
Compared to what I'm used to, the beds are hard as rock, but my wife didn't have a problem with them, so it might be me.
When we checked in we asked if they had any rooms with two queens available instead of a king. The agent said yes and he would make the change for us. On the morning of checkout i woke up to an invoice that was $150 more than we were guaranteed. Apparently "Ameer" did not explain to us that the different room had an increased rate. Thankfully the desk agent was extremely friendly and polite and took care of the issue for us, but we shouldn't have had to deal with it in the first place.
On the positive, the staff is very friendly and always said good morning and good evening to us. Housekeeping came every other day and kept up the rooms nicely.
I was testing a Marriott property as we normally stay at Hilton but received complimentary status with Marriott. I think I'll be sticking with Hilton going forward.

This review has nothing to do with my stay there as I did not stay there. On several previous occasions I have had very pleasant stays at this location. Rather, this complaint has to do with their failure to honor their cancellation policy which has cost me $297 for a stay that I did not make

I made a reservation 1/14/2023 for a two night stay (Fri, Jan 20, 2023 – Sun, Jan 22, 2023, Confirmation Number: 99783927); I copied the following from their website: "Hotel Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your reservation for no charge before 11:59 PM local hotel time on January 15, 2023. After this time, please note that your prepayment for this special rate is non-refundable." Unfortunately for me, this policy is not stated on the confirming email from them.

On 1/15 morning I noticed they had charged me $297 - well before the midnight cancellation deadline.

I modified the reservation to include a 3rd day and a senior discount (Fri, Jan 20, 2023 – Mon, Jan 23, 2023, Confirmation Number: 99783927); I copied the following from the website: You may cancel your reservation for no charge before 11:59 PM local hotel time on January 19, 2023 (1 day[s] before arrival).

Later on 1/15 I cancelled the reservation and received the following confirmation email: Your reservation is cancelled Cancellation Number: 60216073, Fri, Jan 20, 2023 – Mon, Jan 23, 2023.

So I cancelled before the original dealine of 11:59 PM local hotel time on January 15, 2023 and well before their second deadline of 11:59 PM local hotel time on January 19, 2023 (1 day[s] before arrival).

I still got charged $297. The hotel now claims that my original reservation was non-refundable.

I'm a Marriott Platinum member. I've stayed at Marriott properties all over the world. This was my first sojourn since Covid I'm a Marriott Platinum member. The hotel was close to empty at 7 pm when I arrived. As a Platinum member, I'm supposed to be automatically upgraded to the next level. When I checked in, I inquired. The associate responded " Our suites are dirty." Seroiusly? Had a feeling it might be something else, just maybe. I spoke to the manager the next day, who apologized, and offered me something from the store. I dont want a candy bar, I prefer to be acknowledged as a loyal customer. Then, when I arrive back the next day, I returned to my room to see it had not been serviced. I called the front desk, to mention this. The associate copped a serious attitude, saying " you should have been told this when you checked in." At that point, I remembered reading it in the Bonvoy newsletter. When I conveyed I was not, she got quite the nasty tone. As an aside, this hotel has a deep musty smell covered up by superficial air fresheners. There is Hilton Doubletree 1/4 mile down the road. I have stayed there and it is an aesthetically much nice hotel, minus the musty smell. Stay there instead, Did I mention the gnats in the bathroom sink?

Spent a couple of days at the Courtyard Plymouth Meeting (PA) for business and will not be returning on my future travels to the area and not recommending to other team members. Due to a number of issues related to my flights in, did not arrive at the hotel until 4 o'clock in the morning. Originally planned on 3 nights at the Courtyard. First issue was there was no welcoming as a gold level member. Second issue was that the room smelled as if a prior occupant had smoked in the room (being 4 in the morning and coming off a bad set of flights did not feel up to going back down to reception). Found that the 3rd issue is that the side of the hotel I was on was facing the interstate and the room is not soundproof. And finally, the fourth issue was that due to early flight out of the Philadelphia airport that my final night would be best near the airport. I notified the front desk that I would be staying only two nights and not three and was told the "early departure" fee would be 50% of the daily rate. Not really good for a gold level member of the marriott program, but ok. However, upon check out and receipt of the invoice found that I was billed for the entire day. Contacted the hotel by phone and was told "oops for the confusion, but the full day rate is their policy. Have multiple future trips to the area for business but will staying somewhere else. Would be a one star if not for the outstanding service from Janice in the restaurant.

Stayed for two nights in two room suite. Hotel was great. Close to King of Prussia Mall. Across the street from a fairly big mall with lots of restaurants. Close to Villanova U. And Valley Forge. Used keyless check in so never interacted with staff. Downside due to covid was pool and restaurant in hotel were both closed. In these times you have to be understanding of situation. Room was spotless and had seal on door until we checked in. Will definitely stay here agai when in the west Philly area.

I stayed at this Marriott last weekend for a family wedding. I stayed in a king room that I found to be good size with a king bed and couch/ottoman along with a big screen tv. The bathroom was spotless. The towels and bed linens were crisp, clean white. I parked right outside the lobby, the staff was courteous and friendly. They informed us before our stay that they were renovating, but I certainly didn't experience any inconvenience. My stay was all that I could ask for...clean, convenient and comfortable. Also, checking in through the app Marriott Bonvoy, I was texted that my room was ready at 10am instead of waiting until 3pm!

We stayed here during our business trip to Worcester PA. Nice location. TV didn’t work but they fixed it quickly. I didn’t expect the shampoo and conditioner in multi use containers. Beds were fine and room was clean. A nice stay.
