Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was surprised that parking for two nights was going to be an extra $70 (tax was a crazy amount like 27% or 37%) on top of the booking. Additionally my comforter on my bed had a ton of holes in one of the corners. For a pretty pricy stay I just expect things to be a bit nicer. Overall the staff was friendly.

Beautiful view from our room of the Soldiers & Sailer's Hall. The staff was really nice and very friendly. The lobby was bare, but very pretty. The location is great! Very clean rooms. Very secure. Room key needed to operate the elevator. THE PRICE IS LOW BECAUSE THE PLACE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!! Upon entering the parking lot, you could see that it could use some TLC, as much as most of the exterior. Piles of leaves in the lot and trash laying around. Most of the landscaping is wash away too. The room was to be 2 queen beds and we ended up with a king bed and a couch. I didn't see anything in my booking that the hotel was "UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION". Only thing mentioned was that the pool and workout room were temporarily closed. Nope. The smells of paints or cleaners is strong in the whole place. it is a bit overwhelming in some areas. Especially with someone who is effected by this, due to her medical condition. Laying in bed @ 2:30, when we checked in since we had a long day & I feel a Frickin' hammer drill at my headboard in the other room. For the next 4 hours, we enjoyed the sounds of construction work being done through out the whole place. Considering we had to be up the following morning at 2:30 prep for surgery, this was a 5 OUT OF 10 for a Wyndham. Sad.

Not impressed with my room nor the fact I couldn’t get the complimentary breakfast or at least a cup of coffee after 7:30 without paying for it. I arrived after 5 I believe and they charged $25 for parking overnight.

Told at check in because of maintenance we wouldn’t have running water from 9am-3pm every day. Plus it didn’t even have a fridge. Still charged full rate for our stay. I wouldn’t stay here again. Parking expensive as well

Things I learned after I checked in for my (prepaid) stay at the Windham: We are undergoing renovations, so "The fitness center and pool are closed." We are undergoing renovations, so "There will be construction between 8 am and 5 pm." We are undergoing renovations, so "There will not be water available in the hotel between 9 am and 3 pm." We are undergoing renovations, so "Our water in the hotel may or may not be safe to drink (when water is available). But, we have left you two bottles of water in your room for two people for your three-night stay, and if you need more, you can get it for free during housekeeping hours, or you may purchase it from the store at reception. Just one more thing, housekeeping may or may not give you the water, depending on who at reception is asking them." We are undergoing renovations, so "Yes, that spurt of brown water that came out of your faucet is normal." We are undergoing renovations, but "The loud construction dumpster pickup that lasted from 6:30 am to 7:30 am right below your window is not part of construction, you see, it's a different non-construction thing, and therefore we weren't lying to you when we warned you that construction started at 8 am." And "I'm very sorry sir, we can't offer you anything for the problems that you experienced during your stay. Well, okay, here are some water bottles for your trouble."

It's good. Parking and food are too much and there was no fridge, but it did the trick. I was only there to get drunk, watch a show and sleep. Maybe better vending or food options. Y'all definitely need a fridge in the rooms.

There was a broken taco shell under one bed! Do they clean rooms? Also, my card didn't work the second night. All around average hotel. Due to location near universities, they have no trouble renting to students and lower standards are fine.
