We were in Pittsburgh for the Taylor Swift concert and this hotel hit it out of the park for us! Super handout with directions to Acrisure Arena, menus for ordering food in the lobby, an awesome Taylor cardboard cut-out for my kids to pose with, Taylor music playing with our free breakfast — we loved it!! The employees were always friendly, always greeted us, always happy to answer questions! I travel a lot and the service here was top notch! Thank you for a fantastic time! My kids said instead of 2 nights, we should have stayed 5!!

My room was not heated in January. They told us the heating is “motion censored” but never seemed to warm up our entire stay. I appreciate saving energy but coming into a freezing room is not enjoyable. They offered my family another room but it would be a down grade and the woman at the front desk when checking in was very rude and unfriendly. Despite this the hotel itself is very nice and offers a lot of amenities. When checking out a different woman was very welcoming and kind. Would stay again if I could make sure my room was probably heated.

Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. Will definitely stay again next time I visit. For the price of the room, the hotel stay exceeded expectations. It was very helpful to use the parking garage for $20 a day, and the location of the hotel made it easy to walk to nearby shops and bars.

I will start by saying that the staff at this hotel were wonderful and the location is great for walking either downtown or to the Strip District. If only based on Customer Service, I would give this hotel 5. Also, we found the parking to be very easy to find and convenient.

The hotel fell short for us on the accommodations. We were staying in a 2 room Queen Suite and from the moment we walked in the room, we noticed a few less than desirable things. The carpets throughout the room were stained with something red, the windows were very dirty, the shower curtain bottom was stained and there were old hairs in the bathtub, our bathroom faucet was lose, and the tub didn't drain while you were showering and would fill up at the bottom. We also came into the room with only 1/4 roll of toilet paper on the roll (and there were 2 roll holders with only one with a roll on it). There was no extra toilet paper in the room, no dish soap (usually hotels with a kitchen have that), the shampoo and conditioner were 2 different brands (which we found strange), and the TV would tell you it was on a channel that it wasn't (i.e. If we went to ESPN, it was actually Disney - All of the channels were not matched with the Guide). The only issue we reported was the toilet paper, because the other things, we know are a thing of traveling these days.

During our stay we had something out of the hotel's control happen and the power went out from 7AM Sunday until 6AM the following day. We ended up transferring to another hotel because it was very warm and we couldn't see. Adam and the staff there were very helpful and made sure we were safely moved to another hotel. Again, the staff was lovely and this was Pittsburgh issue, not the hotel's fault.

My best feedback for this scenario, if it ever happens again, which I hope it doesn't for their sake, is to keep the guests informed. For updates, I had to keep reaching out and we were out "adulting" for the day and would have loved to have known our options prior to "adulting" too much. I do think the hotel did their best with a bad scenario.

All in all, for the location and Customer Service, I would stay here again, but the accommodations need some updating.

We decided to spend an afternoon/night in Pittsburgh on the way to Ohio and chose this hotel because of the kitchen and the price point. Glad we chose it. Was at a great location to do some touristy stuff. The parking under the hotel ($$$) was convenient for us although I believe there is cheaper parking across the street. The room was clean and comfortable and the ceiling fan was a nice touch. We had an issue with part of the room losing power at one point but the sweet woman working the front desk took care of the issue right away. We didn't use the pool or fitness center but both looked clean. The free breakfast wasn't much to write home about but it did the trick. There is a nice spacious outdoor space with a firepit that people were enjoying. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Pittsburgh.

2nd trip to Pittsburgh to take in a Pirates game with my young teenage sons. My wife didn’t make the first trip 2 years ago, and all we have done since, is bragged on Pittsburgh and PNC Park. I felt very safe walking around the stadium and downtown area on trip 1. This trip let me down. The location of this hotel and the parking arrangements (off site) was uneasy. I’ll certainly stay closer to PNC next time - or at least if we stay in this hotel again we will dine back towards PNC than going even 1 block in the other direction. We walked everywhere on the trip. Walking from the hotel to the park (15-20 min) was very nice and I felt rather safe. It was after walking the opposite direction of the hotel to find dining where things were undesirable. All said, it wouldn’t keep me from staying at this hotel in the future. This hotel was clean! The staff was professional & friendly! The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. I’d ask them to improve on preparing for the number of guests and ensuring enough supplies are in the room. I’d also ask they be transparent about the area and be able to guide their guests in the right direction outside the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay in the 1 bedroom king with separate living room. The room was clean, comfy and spacious. The TVs also offer Netflix, pandora and Bluetooth that you can sign into with your own account just remember to sign out when you leave lol. My only complaint is that it was a $250 security deposit instead of the $100 I’m used to paying when I stay at Hilton properties. When I asked I was told one person messed it up for everyone else lol so budget accordingly.

No complaints other than charges to my room that no one was able to explain. I'll take that up later. Staff were always nice and accommodating but there was one lady that worked the kitchen named Jody who was exceptional. Always bright, chipper, friendly, and especially helpful. She wouldn't allow me to empty my own breakfast tray (I was there for 23 days). Jody and the lady who did van runs (Cesi I think) would be the reason I'd come back if ever in Pittsburgh inspite of the unexplainable charges to my room. Jody is the epidomy of customer service which makes being away from home that long, so much more bearable. I literally looked forward to seeing her each time I came downstairs.

This hotel looks newish. Semi-finished parking areas under the hotel (convenient + $$$). Navigating between the levels takes some patience, certainly without a hotel key. I did contactless check in using the Hilton app and the desk staff was courteous and helpful. The room (a small suite) was spacious for one person and feels small when two people need to wash or do office work.
The view on the river banks is now blocked by a large building.
Everything in the room was functional and looked clean.
The complimentary breakfast was limited cold food only. Other Hilton brand hotels currently offer hot food. Unsure if this was a staffing or a cost savings policy.
While the surroundings of the hotel are industrial, it is within walking distance from the Strip and the west side of downtown. it felt safe to walk around day and night.

Homewood is convenient to convention center, downtown, strip area and the three major league sports parks. Staff is friendly and remember your name. Breakfast has lots of options and even better it’s free.

Suite layouts work well and you have a full size refrigerator in the room and a microwave to warm up leftovers. Strip area has a few places that are great to pick up items to snack on during your stay.

Rooms are large with a desk to work and be able to watch your favorite show or team.

Pick up some ice cream and the room has spoons and bowls to enjoy the ice cream.

Kaya down the street is a good option for carryout.

Is the parking valet only? Is the parking on site or somewhere else? Thank you

There is parking garage. $20 a day. But there’s also a lot next-door which is $10 a day. The parking garage is kind of small so it does get for sometime
Answer from glrintreasurelake

The hotel has a parking area below the hotel which is of course covered for $20 per night but parking is limited. Once the underground area is full, the hotel has a contract with the vendor across the street on the same side of the street of the hotel also for $20 per night. Parking is outside but semi covered in that I-579 is over the top of the corner of the lot closest to the hotel. Pittsburgh for the most part is safe. I do not believe anyone would mess with the cars in the particular lot huddled near the hotel. The hotel no longer offer valet parking but the walk from either lot is easy and flat.

We stayed here back in July. They were very helpful with regard to parking. We parked on site. As I recall, it was added to our rate. I remember that I checked local rates and it was comparable and it was inside instead of out in the elements. Very easy to access. I don’t think there is a valet. Hope this helps.
