Tired, smelly, worn out, bleak, and depressing. My favorite though is pieces of plywood tacked up to the edge of the exterior walkway. Why? They ran the place into the ground though not sure if the property ever had character. Rooms are cheap, sort of, but still poor value. Possibly a better nights sleep in the car vs. staying awake wondering about what else lives in the room.

We paid $35 per person in advance and the reception turned out to be scam!! It was a disaster - no appetizer, no desserts, tables were not set, no centerpieces, food that we did not even order which only fed about 40 of our guests, WARM beer and cheap wine! We were told that we could have use of the projector for speeches, but they told us the projector was broken. The bathrooms were dirty, and the caterer, Jay Ragaglia lied to us about everything -- he even told us that his mother died the night before as the lowest of low excuses. DO NOT even go near this place. Very sketchy and dirty.

The place is weird from the time you check in. The guy at the counter does not interact at all, no greetings. These people will scan your drivers license which is the first time i have seen.
The rooms are super small. There is no coffee maker in room. The bathroom is so small it is an exercise to maneuver.
There are a few good restaurants around. I did not like the Indian restaurant next door.

This could have been a 5 rating. But I pick choice hotels for breakfast included and coffee in room. It said on this desciption that they had both. UI arrived at midnight to learn that they don't provide breakfast. And there wasn't coffee in room. Only a pumppot at 6am in lobby (with creamatate.

This is the most depressing hotel I have stayed at in this country.
Terrible smoke smell in "smoke free" rooms.
Chain latch on door had loose screws; main overhead light was not working.
It is in need of a paint job at the very least, or a total remake of the hotel.
The breakfast was all tasteless, cheap carbs....I had to throw my flavorless doughnut out.
No yoghurt or fruit, just some oj and substandard carbs.
There is no excuse for this hotel.
Amazing that it has not been shut down.
Nice staff, but that's where it ends.
Don't spend a penny on this.

Very sketchy place. Breakfast only served until 9am. Rooms smell like weed and cigartette even though you are not allow to smoke in them. The beds very uncomfortable. Will never stay there ever again.

Stayed in rm 240 the first night and go bit up bed and had signs off bed bug activity on the sheets. I called the front desk to request to be moved. She was oblivious and said shed never heard to be bed bugs in the rooms. I should have checked the reviews first. So we got moved to another room (146) and there was a smell of mold and a hole in the wall stuffed with toilet paper. It is NOT worth it. I askedbfor some sort of refund and they told me it was not possible. I was excited and eager to checkout and leave this poor excuse of a hotel.

I've been staying here for years, once a year, for a quick business trip. No more. The grounds have really degraded. Trash and weeds. Old furniture tossed out back to rot. The vending/ice room was disgusting. The free breakfast was so poor I even passed on the coffee. The room was OK, barely. Sink was clogged. Corners dirty. The larger issue was the clientele that has moved in. One word - scary. Clearly some are living here as there were biked padlocked to rails. I travel a good deal in varied places, but did not feel comfortable walking from my car to the room after dark. It was amazing the difference a year makes.

I would like to make it perfectly clear that any issues brought to my attention in a respectful and professional manner will be addressed and handled in a like manner. I personally perform daily inspections of the rooms at this hotel and if for any reason a room is not suitable for rental it is placed out of service until all corrective actions have been completed. The issues expressed in this comment although very forceful and compeling are, at this point unconfirmable. Since bedbugs, have a tendency to leave noticable evidence of thier presence an infestation of this magnitude would have left visibl and permanent damage. I was unable to find these markings therefore I disagree with the author's conclusions.

stayed here on business. it was a recommendation from a client. i will never stay in this place again.
for the past 4 years i have spent an avg of 200 night in hotels a year for business. aside from the place with bugs in TX that i checked out of as soon as i checked in, this place is the worst. i wouldn't mind if i were drinking a case of bad beer and watching bad TV, but not good if i'm expecting to conduct business the next day.
