This facility needs some updating. I would like to see smokers provided with a covered area away from the entrance. The entrance had a smoke smell. Our room had a faint smoke scent that could not be hidden with disinfectant. We used hair clips to keep the drape closed. Staff was very nice, accommodating. Simplified breakfast was understandable during pandemic. Good coffee/assorted tea 24 hours. Local/national newspapers appreciated. Good central location by mall, close to interstate, medical office, restaurants. Pool closed.

We stayed here only one night, so there's only so much that can be said about this hotel but it was definitely one of the better Hampton Inn's we've ever stayed at. The staff was friendly and super helpful, and our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable -- especially the large king bed. We had an early flight out of Pittsburgh International the next morning, so this is a good place to stay just 20 minutes away from the airport. Can't figure out why this hotel doesn't participate in 'Park/Sleep & Fly' program with the airport, but they should.

The hotel is adjacent to the Beaver Valley Mall, so that's a plus and there are numerous restaurants in the area that offer many dining options. Can't comment on the complimentary breakfast, because we were gone before it was being served. Let's hope and assume it is better than the marginal breakfast offerings we've experienced at other Hampton Inn's were stayed at in the past.

This hotel was great, and would definitely stay here again

Stayed here for 5 nights to visit my mother who lives nearby and it was a solid choice. Comfy bed, but as we're finding out with Hampton Inn's, flat, almost useless pillows (we asked & received more).

Hotel was clean, a few things could use sprucing up, but overall this property is in pretty good shape.

Breakfast was typical of Hampton, which is to say good. Fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereals, juices, yogurt, coffee/tea choices, breads & sweet rolls, meat & egg dishes that rotate through the week as well as make-your-own waffles. Everything that we ate was fresh and satisfied us.

Out of the way, it's tucked in the back of the Beaver Valley Mall compound. It's far enough back to make it very quiet at night. We could hear folks above us moving around, but it wasn't intrusive or disruptive. I wish they had a safe in the room, but this is more of a budget hotel, so not expected (but I still would like one).

We even took advantage of the mall and used it to walk in the mornings we were there as it was chilly outside.

I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. Not far from the airport, there's also a gas station nearby which was convenient to fill up our rental on the way back to the airport.

Wonderful staff that went the extra mile. Good location near mall - as well as airport. We had four rooms and all were clean and quiet. The staff was accommodating on multiple occasions which was much appreciated by our group.

We had to stay at a pet friendly hotel while our power was out during a snow storm on December 23-24th. The staff were so kind, helpful and accommodating to our family during our short stay. We want to say thank you for giving us a warm place to rest our heads and also let our large golden retriever fur baby stay too. We will always recommend this location to anyone visiting!

I stayed here for just one night on Saturday, 11/04/2023. This is a smaller, definitely older Hampton Inn -- that needs a little bit of attention.

I did use the mobile app to check in; therefore, I can't say I interacted with the staff at all, since this was such a quick stay.

The rooms are older and definitely need some attention. I was staying in Room 407 (I believe) and every step I took in the room the floors creaked and cracked...I was definitely afraid the room below me would be bothered. The tiles in the bathroom were loose and also made a pretty bad sound. There were two flying beetles or ladybugs in my room that kept me entertained.

However, overall it was a clean room and therefore, the property still gets three solid stars.

The staff seemed to have no control over groups that may have been staying at the property. There were large signs near the entrance to the pool stating that the pool is closed; however, at both 9:30PM and 7:30am the pool was packed with kids. So, I'm guessing they turn a blind eye.

I stay at Hampton Inns a couple of days a week for work and this may be the worst one. The TV only gets a hand full of channels and weak signal is the message. The front desk blames it on the cable company. The phone isn’t even plugged in so you have to call the front desk from your cell phone. Many workers here smoking all kinds of things right in front of the hotel. Beer cans in the parking lot. Horrible exercise equipment. I wish I could give this place fewer then 1 star. The main problem is that no one cares here.

This is the place to stay in the Monaca area. Easy access from the highway and located next to a mall. Friendly desk employees, large rooms, and no rattling from the AC/heating unit or the refrigerator! Our room was next to the elevator and we had no noise issues from its operation. VERY clean room. The indoor pool and exercise room have re-opened and the breakfast area was pleasant. A great example of Hampton Inn quality.

We have been very pleased with Hampton Inns up until this one. The location reminded us of a construction site. The driveway was an unpacked road. Adjoining business with a chain link fence. Located next to a Mall that’s been going out of business for years. Dark and scary at night. The hotel it self needs updated and or a good cleaning. At the front entrance groups of people smoking, both guests and employees. When entering you walk thru a haze of smoke. Also, there seemed to be group of rough looking people loitering in parking lot. Our son made the reservation for us, when we checked in we gave the clerk our credit card to pay for our stay. About a week or so after our stay our received his CC bill and there was the charge for our three night stay. So disappointed!

A little inconvenient. For someone staying one night, it is probably OK. Location is great. But for those staying several nights, this hotel is not the normal Hampton one might be expecting. There is no laundry room. The fitness center is open, but you cannot use your key to let yourself in. You have to find someone at the front desk to let you in. There is a TV in the fitness center, but the machines are all facing the opposite direction. I tried to "read the guide" backward in the mirror in front of me to find something to watch while exercising, every station I selected there came back as having no subscription. Over 400 stations to scroll through so not worth the time. The virtual key stopped working after the third time (unloading the car within the first hour of arriving). I got the normal card keys. They stopped working on a Thursday and I was staying through Saturday. So not good for longer stays. If this had been the first Hampton I ever stayed at, I probably would not try another one.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn and they both allowed pets. You can ask for an allergy room on the 4th floor that pets are not allowed.
