I was here for 3 months for work. My room was clean and the staff was always friendly (especially May and Ryan). It has a larger laundry than most and a workout room. It's in a convenient location and safe.
The reason for 3 stars....the manager. I asked to have a light in the bathroom changed (not regular bulbs). I told her I worked night, so please don't have anyone come in the morning. I got a call at 10a (didn't answer) then she sent someone up. He apologized because he knew I would be sleeping. After being there almost 3 months the manager confronted me (In front of people) by the elevator and told me I ruined their sheets and towels with my red hair color. If I was going to do that to ask for old ones. For one my hair was purple and not red (blue before). I told her I used my own towels and pillow case for that reason. She said I was the only one coloring my hair, so it had to be me. Really? Because she must be there 24/7 and see everyone. I invited her up to look at my dirty towels and bed that wasn't stained, but she refused. I told her it was just shampoo and it washed out anyway. It was also never red. I guess no one else could've spilled a drink and used towels to clean it? I told her I didn't appreciate her coming at me like that and in front of staff and guests. She got an attitude and told me no one was around and not to go there. I use my shampoo every couple of days for 3 months and saw her multiple times. If there was a problem why did I never hear about it? Because it wasn't me. I enjoyed my stay up till then but because of her, I will never stay there again. A couple of my guys also left early because of her. That's a couple of months of income lost because of her attitude. I hope that no one else has a need for anything that irritates her and makes her act like that.

Stayed here on business for about 3 weeks. I suggest you request a room away from an elevator, ice machine or on site guest use laundry room. Also suggest a room on the backside of the building. Each guest room has a full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave with a 2 burner ceramic cooktop. Staff was good and helpful, however I found staff member Stephanie to be outstanding, a true asset and credit to her employer.

The hotel is gross, unsafe, and poorly constructed. There is mold and dust all through both the ventilation system and the in room hvac system. Roaches can regularly be found scurrying across the floor. Please know if you stay here your information is not safe. Any employee can remotely access everything from your phone number to credit card info to the address where your family stays, from the comfort and privacy of their homes. The comforters are washed once a month if you’re lucky and housekeepers won’t even waste time changing sheets if they feel a bed hasn’t been slept in. Management is aware of the issues but just puts bandaids on it because at the end of the day all you are to them is a paycheck.

Dear jacobbS7105GU, Your review and rating of our hotel mean a lot to us, and we thank you for taking the time to share this experience. We want to apologize for the condition of the hotel, cleanliness and the mold issues and to assure you that this inconvenience has been addressed. Fortunately, the pest control experts that we employed to complete the thorough inspection following your complaint discovered no evidence of roaches in any of our rooms. However, each room were still treated with a bed pest for precaution. It is through feedback like yours that we are able to quickly address housekeeping, maintenance, and staff courtesy issues. We promise to deliver and match your expectations in the future.

My boyfriend and I reserved a stay here while we were attending a wedding in the area this weekend. We flew in on Saturday morning and went to the hotel to see if it was possible to check in early as the wedding started at 2 PM. We weren't able to check in early so we advised the front desk that we would likely be checking in late, around 9/10 PM. We were told that this would not be a problem. At 8:01 PM we were called by front desk staff and notified that there had been an issue with our reservation and they no longer had a room for us. When I called back, I was told that they could not accommodate us nor could they offer us anything in terms of compensation. I was also informed that all of the nearby hotels in Monaca were also fully booked for the night. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that I could speak with him on Monday. In much back and forth with the staff, we found out that rooms here are distributed on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis and our room had been given away to a patron wishing to extend there stay. We were also told that SIX OTHER RESERVATIONS had been notified that they weren't able to be accommodated due to this policy. We were finally able to reach the on-call manager who offered us a stay in a different room (we are unsure how it was available as we were told the hotel was booked to max capacity 20 minutes earlier). All-in-all, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as the reservation policy is completely unprofessional and unreliable. They had no problem notifying me late in the evening that not only could they no longer accommodate us (even though we had reserved our room OVER 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE) but they also did not offer any type of compensation or secure us a room in another hotel for that night's stay. It was a terrible experience and we will never be coming back.

I am very sorry for this inconvenience that took place over the weekend. Our hotel was overbooked by 3rd party booking sites and we didn't realize what happened until the hotel was overbooked. I had a front desk training session on how to deal with this in the future in hopes that when the city sells out again our staff can deal with it a little more efficiently.

My husband is staying for work. From the very beginning they were great! I called them directly vs the number trip advisor gave for the whole company. My husband is there for an extensive stay and they allowed us to book for several months out. As well as a discount for the company hes working for. They were very inviting considering it's a beautiful new hotel and his job site is very dirty (he's respectful tho and wears slippers in and carries his dirty work layers and boots in instead of of dragging all that thru). Anyway, very accommodating. There is laundry ($2/load) which is very nice. They have a mini store there too where you can buy milk, eggs, bread, etc. (Beware everything is super expensive in this town. Milk is almost $4 a gallon at Walmart! Gas is about $.80 higher too, then ohio, And you have to go to special stores to get beer). None of that's the hotels fault of course. But beware. The room is VERY CLEAN, new, bathrooms is big. Room is kinda small but great. Has everything you need! Full fridge, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, silver water, disposal, good quality TV picture, lots of outlets, coffee maker. Etc. Fitness center, recycling, ice on the 1st floor. Parking was good too. Staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommend. The hotel itself sits on top of a hill so nice sunset views if your in the front of the building. Everything is relatively close. Walmart is 4mins away as well as several food places and shopping centers.

I realize that most people use these establishments for long-term stays, but they work well for one night too, and can often be had for a great rate (in my case, $15 plus some Choice Privileges points).
The hotel is clean and bright, and appears to be fairly new. Everything worked well, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette was well-equipped for someone who would be staying here a few days and preparing meals. Good wi-fi and plenty of TV channels. The facility appears to be fairly close to restaurants and shopping.
Definitely worth a stay.
