Detailed Reviews
My family and I stayed here on our way home from a New Year's trip. The rooms have obviously been redone and they were very large and comfortable. We are musicians and were traveling after playing for a week and so were very tired. I left and instrument and an ipod in the room and they were very kind about it all. They mailed my ipod back to me and kept my instrument until I could get someone to pick it up. Yay Milford Motel!!!

The Milford is a basic motel. The price ($75) was fine, not really a bargain I would suggest, but less than most other motels in Milford. The room was clean enough -- not exceptionally so but sufficient -- the location was good, plenty of towels, enough hot water, reasonably comfortable beds, etc.
On the less complimentary side, I was quoted a rate on the phone that turned out to be about $9 more in person, though being 11 at night I did not argue at that point. I had requested a room with queen bed and got one with 2 doubles. So these last two things were disappointing, and you may want to be careful about this sort of thing when making reservations.
Would I stay there again? Probably. You could do worse.

If you're looking for a stay comparable to the Plaza in NYC, move on. However, if you're looking for a no-frills, clean and friendly stay at a reasonable price, the Milford comes through. The owner let us inspect the room before we committed (as we do with all mom and pop hotels) and room was very clean including the bathroom, which is usually the first to show deterioration in these places. The room included a refrigerator and the ice machine is in the lobby (if you think ice machines are a given at motels, think again). We stayed for two nights and would again if in the Milford area. An extra plus, the morning we were about to leave we found we found we left our vehicle's interior light on overnight. Not enough juice to start, but the owner produced her own jumper cables and gave us a jump so we didn't have to go begging. In all a very pleasant stay and very amenable.

I wanted to write a lauditory review for this little roadside motel because when I had just finished paying for the room my wife burst in with her phone open to tell me not to do the transaction. She showed me a condescending negative review which actually had nothing negative except the writers attitude. We arrived with no res just before the July 4th weekend. We tried to get a room at both the BW, where we had stayed before, and the Hampton, both of which were sold out. On recommendation, we came here. An advantage is that the motel is removed from the busy interchange with I-84 and other local traffic, so the stay was quite quiet except for when a family with little kids moved in with a frenzy to the room next door. It was a short-lived frenzy. The room was comfortable and cozy, the decoration more pleasing than the usual corporate fare in big-name hotels. It is very evident that the owners take good care of their property. Everything was in good working order and very neatly kept. While it's true that the motel looks like an old roadside stopover for travelling salesmen, that's probably because it is of that ilk and that era; but the people that run this old place do a superior job of caring for it. My compliments.

Two hiking companions and I stayed here 3 nights while hiking the Appalachian Trail in this area. We were very pleased with the large size of the rooms, the cleanliness, and the friendly owner. I particularly liked the homey and soft floral sheets, which reminded me of my Mom’s sheets rather than a stiff motel sheet. We had plenty of space in the room, in fact enough to add a twin size air mattress and still have space to move around freely. The small table and chairs in the room was excellent for breakfast and snacking. All in all it was a great place to stay.

This hotel is in a great location. It is in walking distance to Milford and the center of town. The rooms are clean. The prices are always fair. The owners are pleasant and honest. Our travel employees often stay at the Fairbridge.

Looking at past reviews, I saw the motel is way better than that! I had stayed for a two days in November and I loved the experience. They had freshly brewed coffee in the morning, with different condiments, They also had excellent wifi signals. On top of that, their service was great. They gave me extra pillows for my back and nice room service. Definitely should come here,

I stayed at this motel for a week. Good rate, & clean rooms. I didn't found anything on bathroom floor. Whenever I come to Milford, I am definitely staying at the Milford Motel again. The Wifi signal was so strong I was able to do all of my work without any problems with the connection. They give me nice and clean room service everyday. Front desk staff was so friendly. This was better then some of the expensive hotel rooms in Milford. The bed was also very comfortable, that my back pain from my the previous night's hotel was greatly relieved. An extra bonus was complimentary fresh coffee every morning.

We decided to skip the big chain hotels in the surrounding area because they were outrageously priced. Found this motel for half the price and took a gamble. It turned out to be a gem. A small room, but very clean with queen size bed, TV, refrigerator, table, even internet access if we wanted it. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. We were travelling with an infant and felt very comfortable. Would stay there again when visiting the area.
