Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Clean room and bath. TV, WIFI and AC were very good. There was a microwave and refrigerator but no coffee maker. Mattress was ancient. Sofa was broke down. Light by bed non-working which we discovered at bed time. Some old extension cords lying near it but it had a grounded plug. Room decor was NOTHING like photos in ads.

I was a solo female traveling as part of a longer trip. It was just a place to sleep and shower. The desk clerk was super friendly. Yes the hotel is super old and the rooms are very dated but my first floor room was super clean and my bed was really comfortable. I was in a non smoking room and there were signs all over stating this. Wifi was good.
I was happy with the fridge in the room.

At first i was surprised that the hotel office is in part of a house and behind a chinese buffett. This hotel, really a motel reminded me of somewhere i stayed with my grandparents but with a couple of modern touches. I did turn on the heat/sun lamp in the bathroom for nostalgia lol.

This is an older hotel. Don't let that deter you. An exceptional value. The room was spotless and I do mean spotless. Easy check in. Comfortable bed. Clearly the room had been upgraded. The furnishings looked newer and there was great lighting. The bathroom literally sparkled.

It was a perfectly fine motel for the price and value; safe, clean and quiet, which was all we needed to spend a weekend near family. Bonus: There’s a Chinese restaurant right next door, which was quite convenient for my wife who was hungry when we arrived late.

Our trip to New Hampshire was more than I could do in one day. We called around to find a place to stay over night that would accept a dog. The owners were very accommodating. We travel with our dog all the time, have stayed in much more expensive motels that were nowhere near as nice as this Rodeway. I do not know where the people who are complaining stay but my wife and I believe this is by far better than they are rating. My wife always checks for cleanliness' and was much surprised that she did not need to clean any areas. The furniture was a little outdated but that is no big deal. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to walk our dog. There are some people who seem to be regulars but they were very nice and quiet. There is no continental breakfast but just 5 minutes away is the Milford Diner, which has great prices for take out and by the time you get there from the motel the food is ready so there is no waiting and the food is great. My wife and I would stay again in a heartbeat. If you are in the area I would highly recommend the Rodeway in Milford.

This motel is very clean, well run, and perfect for a trip to the area. We stayed one night and had a room on the first floor and the window looked out on a green lawn so we were not looking at a parking lot. The room was large - had a table and two chairs, microwave and refrigerator. The only complaint is that you can hear the people walk around upstairs but that is because the building is old.

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. I have never stayed in such a awful place. It was filthy. The walls in the bathroom had stuff all over them.I hate to think what the stains were. The toilet seat was nasty. And I don't think anyone has dusted in there since the place was built. The room had an awful aroma that even opening the windows did not help. We unfortunately had a two night booking and there was never any maid service. When we got back to the hotel for the second night the room was never touched. The bed was unmade. There were no fresh towels, no replacement of plastic cups. There was no coffee maker. It was jus disgusting. When we left I mentioned my displeasure to the woman at the desk and she didn't say anything. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone

Stayed 2 nights 2 weeks ago. Super clean, super friendly. Close to nearby town for regular shopping and some specialty stores. Returning tomorrow for two days of winter activities.
Also very quiet. Great showers

The Inn is obviously old, but the room was immaculately clean. Easy check-in. Lots of hot water, and comfortable bed. The pillows are really the only problem - they're pretty thin and uncomfortable. However, as a stop on the way from New Hampshire to Virginia, this place is a bargain.

A very average experience. Back window view is of a bunch of junk. Bed felt ancient but passable. Nice fridge and microwave but no coffee maker. Clean and quiet. Couch and one rolling chair in room with King bed. OK coffee in lobby but nothing else. Check in was pure business. Easy to use AC and heat. Only about 24 rooms. Right off route 84 going toward Milford. Direct TV with wide channel selection.
