So funny, we actually stayed here during New Year's Eve which was random at the time. Our family enjoys hiking the highest point in each state and we were on our way to New Jersey's high point. This is a well kept Hampton Inn and a perfect spot for our family to crash, would recommend it to other travelers in this area. My wife and I got a bottle of champagne from a local liquor store and celebrated the New Year in the lobby of the hotel. The night receptionist was fantastic, she is from the area and gave us some great history along with some of the challenges faced by the local community. Make sure to stop by the tri-states monument before leaving town. It can be a little challenging to find, it's at the end of a cemetery, our kids enjoyed standing on it. Have fun!

Nice hotel, clean comfortable great pillows! Nice breakfast. Because I am a Rewards member I was able to get bottles of water upon arrival. It is always nice to have a water in your room at night time and not drinking tap water. I advise being a Rewards member.

I travel a lot for biz and stay at many different branded hotels. I have not stayed at hampton inn for a while. I got here before 3 PM the usual check in time. With any other hotel if a room was ready I was given the room. I never had a problem with early check in. However, walking in I was told they do not permit early check in whether a room is ready or not unless I pay a fee. I asked if this was a local policy for just this hotel of a hampton inn policy. I was told it was the individual choice of the owner of this particular hotel. Well now when booking rooms I guess i have to add to my checklist of asking if I can have early check inn. I will say, I did not pay you the extra fee for early check inn, because you are simply greedy. I hope others reading this will not choose this hotel because of your unnecessary greed.

The staff is very nice and cordial during all my interactions. Though this appears to be lip service, because after multiple conversations and personal assurance from the on duty managers they refuse to clean rooms for extended stays. They won’t change sheets for stays over 7 days and do not vacuum or sanitize. They only provide clean towels and make the bed if you call every day to remind them, even after multiple requests. Do yourselves a favor and drive the extra 20 miles in either direction to hotels that actually provide the services they advertise…

Very cumbersome to book two sequential days when one day was a special group rate. It caused various problems throughout our stay. Very dissatisfied with the overall reservations and the subsequent issue when the cleaning staff thought they had to inspect my room because new guests were coming in when it was just us

Came here for a family event near by. Stayed one night. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Due to virus, breakfast was provided as take out with a choice of hot entrees to heat up in microwave in room, danishes, and cereal plus juice and coffee. Pool wasn't opened, but looked nice. Staff was excellent. I would recommend this hotel. the only issue was that the a/c was very high and was difficult to adjust.

Older property but did the job. Located a mile and a half from I-84. Room seemed a little smaller than expected and was a little tired and dingy. TV worked well but was small. Bathroom and shower were large and nice, updated more recently than the room itself. Breakfast was a little below par for Hampton Inns but again, it did the job, and I should be pleased that they had a breakfast going with the pandemic still going on. They had a fitness room and pool but I didn’t try them.
Overall everything was fine, but I think next time I’ll opt to drive a little further for a newer property since it seemed like the price was no less than other Hampton Inns around.

Very nice clean hotel. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 stars only because there were "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but this is out of order" signs at various places; e.g., 2nd floor ice maker and thermostat in guest room. It was disappointing that at this stage in the game, masks are not required and very little attempts are made for virus protection. Not only were staff not wearing masks (or guests), but their breakfast buffet was fully open and people were handling hot food covers and utensils with their bare hands. No, we did not have the buffet. Also, on both the 2nd and 3rd floors by the elevators, the hand sanitizer bottles were empty. The 24/7 coffee containers didn't have any sanitizers displayed near them either.

We are sorry we were not able to provide you with the quality of services and amenities you deserve during your recent stay. We are following the recommendations of the CDC and if your are fully vaccinated you are not required to wear a mask. We do encourage it when we are at full occupancy but it is voluntarily. Sanitizers are made available at every station in the breakfast area, and throughout the hotel. The sanitizers as well as Lysol wipes at times they are taken to other areas without our knowledge. I apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused you. I do hope that the next time you are in the Matamoras, PA area you will give us another opportunity. Quiet and very clean. Breakfast was better than usual with fruits and yogurt and fresh smoothies and freshly pressed juice. Breakfast lounge was humongous. Rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was really nice!

I do so wish I knew the answer for you, but I don't even own a bathing suit. I do know, though, that we were VERY pleased with all of the accommodations.
I would think that that information would be on their website.

hi, funny you should ask,,,that is why we chose this hotel because the event we were going to was in Glen Spry..I went to AAA and they mapped it for me...we made the mistake of also listening to the gps and it took us a little out of the way..coming back we followed their directions and I would say the trip took about 24 minutes..I would highly recommend AAA if you belong
Woodlock is roughly 45 minutes from the hotel. I would give myself more time as the road is quite curvy and they are a bit remote, especially if you are unfamiliar with the location. We do have accommodations with handrails in the bathrooms, you just need to request a mobility accessible room. If you are coming for a wedding on a weekend, I suggest you call at your earliest to make sure we have the accommodation available as we quickly sellout. I hope this answer helps.
