My husband and I decided to stay here for our 10 year anniversary. We just love rustic Inn’s and the Lancaster area is one of our favorite places to visit. The place is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly. The place was buzzing with weddings which was so nice to see.

We booked the celebration package and I’m not sure if it was truly worth it. You only get a half a bottle of champagne, there’s no breakfast service right now and they never told us that at booking. It says a 3 course dinner for two but it’s 1 shared app 2 entrees and 2 desserts. The roses were just placed by the TV the champagne in the fridge it’s like there wasn’t even a thought on how they could make it special. We also were never asked what we were celebrating it just felt flat.

Again there is no breakfast service right now which they neglected to tell us when we booked. They are providing AM coffee/tea service in the lobby and have breakfast bags you can take, nothing homemade, all pre packaged items like yogurts & muffins but there’s some fruit and juice. It’s still nice they are offering something but they should be letting those who book know this. There is a great place a quick walk down the road called Gracie’s and has a yummy menu for breakfast lunch and dinner.

The pillows are terrible it feels like a sack of lumps they are not firm at all so bring your own! One of the managers even checked the laundry room to try and find a fuller pillow but they are all flat.

I was also disappointed there was no special items for the whirlpool tub. No candles, bubble bath, bath oils or salts.
Seems like a missed opportunity to really showcase the main feature of the room. We’ve gone to other inns that provide these items.

They do have a local woman’s bath and body products in each room which are also for sale in the lobby. Be warned I think they refill some of the bottles with other products. The scent was grapefruit the bar soaps and lotion smelled wonderful, best grapefruit scent I’ve smelled in a long time but the shampoo was defiantly almond and the conditioner smelled like pantien pro v not at all like grapefruit

We had dinner at Avanti our apps were good but the ribeye and filet were amazing perfectly cooked, seasoned and charred and the desserts were ok nothing to rave about. our waitress was awesome she also works in the bridal salon which I thought was pretty neat.

I would recommend this place, it’s perfect for a little romantic getaway and also seems like a great place for a wedding since they have everything all right there!

My husband and I booked a 2-nght stay just as a getaway. The property is very nice but with construction on the road at the entrance we initially had a hard time finding our way into the grounds. Problem solved with a few quick turnarounds. Arriving after posted check-in we were told our room was not ready at the time. A few minutes later it is was ready and we were escorted by the room manager. Initially, I was a bit disappointed in the size of the room ( Parlor Suite ) which I had expected to be larger based on the website pictures. Also there was a problem with the room key card which would not activate after several attempts and re issuances by the manager. While waiting for the manager to return with another key I looked into the mini fridge and it had food in it from the previous occupants. OK...did not get a good feeling about the attention to cleaning in this room. We were asked to wait until someone could look into the housekeeping issue. I then suggested that another comparable room would be a better idea as I was not feeling comfortable with the whole situation. The room manager came thru and escorted us to a beautiful room on the other side of the property. Spacious and elegant. I had read reviews prior to our visit indicating the walls were paper thin and we were witness to this on the second night of our stay when a group of fellows next door started a loud party at 9 and continued until at 1 AM my husband called the front desk to ask them to tell our neighbors to please quiet it down.

All in all the property is very nice. Restaurant Te is permanently closed and Osteria Avanti has a limited menu. We had dinner at Osteria Avanti and it was very good. Breakfast was a grab and go bag consisting of a muffin, yogurt, tangerine and orange juice. Same both days of our stay. Coffee was available in the reception area.

One note...although our room was very nice, management should really pay more attention to the small things in each room such as working table lamps, very dusty floor mouldings, lamp shades and end tables. I know Covid-19 has made it difficult to hire more housekeeping, but a once a week go thru would help a lot.

All things aside, the The Inn at Leola has an excellent staff ...very friendly and outgoing. I would try the property again perhaps in the Summer when everything is blooming and the pool is open.

The Inn at Leola is right smack in the middle of everything Lancaster, off a crowed constuction-snaggled main route. Worth the trip! With multiple buildings the rooms vary and the property is sprawling. Our standard room in the main building was well appointed and huge. They offered an upgrade to a suite for a small fee but we didn't even take it as the first room was large with a sitting area, dry bar, dressing table with a lighted mirror and separate work space. Immaculate and we know why: Saw a cleaning team working on one of the empty rooms and they were even scrubbing the mirror frames. Lots of nooks and a small outdoor space to read or work. Decent wifi for work. Gary at the front desk was a standout. Service at the bar/restaurant was superb.

Went with my girlfriend for 2 nights, New Year’s eve and New Year’s Day, for the money I was very disappointed.

The Good: room 603 (The old tobacco barn) was spacious and very nicely decorated, with a great bathroom that had a large Whirlpool tub with rain shower in the middle of it. Had dinner in our room the first night and in the tent the second night, and the food was very good.

The Bad: upon check-in there was a third of a roll of toilet paper left with no other toilet paper available in the room, a new roll was not put on before arrival (in the midst of the Covid pandemic this is entirely unacceptable and unsanitary). At the sink there was absolutely nothing to wash your hands, no bar or liquid soap. The floor had area rugs but where there were none The floor was concrete and quite cold, no slippers provided. There was a small sitting area with two wing back chairs, it rained while we were there and the roof leaked in three different places. Two of the leaks were above the wing back chairs, which had obviously been wet before as evidenced by their large water stains. Thus, you couldn’t use this area at all. The third leak was in the bathroom so as you sat on the toilet you got dripped on and wet. Reported to front desk, concern was expressed but nothing was done (and no, nothing was taken off our bill). For $300/night this is all very unacceptable.

This is a beautiful, high end inn, and as such our room should have been better prepared for us and much more comfortable to stay in during our stay. The lack of action by the front desk was both disappointing and concerning.

Booked 3 nights, months prior with a "trainee" after several attempts to get an email confirmation we gave up- our mistake
After checking in we felt better.... but after our second night we were locked out of our room and rudely told we only booked 2! The manager offered no apologies for their mistake as we booked 3 nights and told us they
already had the room booked and we had to leave. He didn't even offer to help us find a place to stay or even show any empathy to our situation. Highly disappointed in the customer service.
ALSO It was extremely expensive and they didn't even give you a hot breakfast even though the were listed as a B&B- bagged cold breakfast only... Go elsewhere

My BF and I stayed here last evening for a getaway weekend. We were in room 603 (tobacco barn), it is a very large room with a great bathroom, that’s the plus. The room has multiple roof leaks, 1 in the corner by wingback chairs (which obviously has been leaking for sometime since the chairs are water stained), 2 other spots within feet of each other in the same area and another right above the end of the king sized bed. We reported it to the front desk upon leaving and they were not apologetic nor did they seem to really care...apparently from other reviews they already know about it but continue to take reservations and collect $330 plus a night, which is very discerning to me. But I have to say that we did order room service for dinner which came fast. We had the charred brussel sprouts and ribeye burgers which were all delicious.

I expected much better from such an expensive hotel. Our room was filthy…we paid extra to stay in one of the Amos barn rooms with included spa tub. The floors are concrete…an awful lot of little bits of debris all over, as though no one has swept or mopped in a long time. Be aware that the spa tub and bathroom is up a flight of steps…on the way down from one of my many trips up and down, I happened to see behind a dresser at the bottom of the steps…oh my God, the amount of actual trash behind it! Wow! An outlet with no outlet cover and a cheap three-way extension outlet plugged in. Felt unsafe.

We had rooms on either side of us and could hear every little noise from hose rooms.

Never again.

Stayed here for one night in January. Amazing accommodations all around, the buildings are absolutely charming and the grounds are beautiful for taking a stroll. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed, and the mattresses feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. Even the bath amenities make you feel like you're staying in a boutique hotel, the grapefruit soap bar is heavenly! Stop by the cafe in the morning, they have a wonderful selection of world class coffees and pastries baked on premises. The restaurant deserves 3 Michelin stars, the menu is superb as are the wine selection and cocktail list. Try the brussel sprout appetizer, it's delectable! Our visit to the spa was the icing on the cake, my massage was out of this world! If you're coming to the Lancaster area you need to check it out, it's wonderful to have such a world-class hotel in our area, this will be our only choice in the future.

This is a beautiful restored farm, and where we had our room, it was a restored tobacco barn.High ceilings, comfy chairs and a great king bed.

BUT, when we wanted hot water at night and had none, upon calling the front desk, we were told the guests using the other rooms Jacuzzi’s take all the hot water. And that there was no maintenance on staff on the weekends. Not exactly a comfy feeling knowing that if something happened there was no maintenance. Now, regarding the hot water, they did offer to move us to another room but by this time it was 9 PM. So we hoped for the best and in the morning, we had hot water.

However, we should not have to allocate the hot water usage. Install a large enough system to handle ALL the guests needs.

The food was delicious, staff helpful and the waitstaff who delivered our wine and snacks had a marvelous personality. The wine and food was perfect but this little thing of no hot water was a deflating moment for us.

I travel to the Lancaster area 2 to 3 times a month on business and am lucky enough to stay at the Inn at Leola Village. From the moment I walk through the doors I am greeted with a friendly hello. Checking in is a breeze and I am even escorted to my room by one of the front desk staff. For a single woman on travel this is a lovely extra that I truly appreciate. Being a former meeting planner I have traveled the world and stayed in many of the finest rated hotels - not one of those hotels ever took the time to escort me or accommodate my needs like this hotel.

My past experience here was my best - even through this god awful pandemic this hotel has risen above to maintain their level of service without compromising their attention to detail. Upon entering the room it is always clean and welcoming. never smells musty and has beautifully appointed furniture. Can we talk about the bed and pillows? I am an awful sleeper but always seem to be comfortably lulled to sleep and sleep through the night! That's a miracle. My past trip I had dinner in the restaurant and wanted everything on the menu, w hat I did order was cooked to perfection! (try the roasted chicken with gorgonzola - it is fab.) Their food is second to none as is their menu selection.

There is no good room or bad room here, they are all nice. Everything is thought out carefully and with love. And those amenities! Not the over processed and chemically infused soaps and lotions in other properties but pure luxe! What a nice touch!

I had asked the front desk if they could get a hair appointment for me the following day and it wasn't any trouble at all. The cut was/is a great cut, the stylist was so nice and did a heck of a job making me look great for my meeting! Even through my day was filled with appointments and meetings when I came back to the hotel and sat down to dinner, the waiter remembered me and what I liked to drink. That will make anyone feel special.

The following morning I woke up early and it was snowing so I decided to take a walk around the property. It was so beautiful and peaceful that it just reconfirmed every now and then we need a place to just be. The Inn at Leola is that place whether on business or pleasure.

it truly feels like my home away from home.

To the best of my knowledge you would use your debit/credit card to book the room, either by calling them or doing it online but they wouldn’t charge your card until you checked out. You could call the Inn and ask them directly to be sure.
