Detailed Reviews
This is a small casino. The location is great as it’s close to the mall and expo center. The rooms are large and beds comfortable. The pool is nice for kids but has limited hours on Friday and Saturday night as it becomes only 21 and older. The food court is limited in options and expensive. This casino would benefit from a store that includes basic supplies and pool attire such as swim shorts, sunscreen… the only option onsite is vending machines which are not well stocked so don’t forget anything. Luckily Walmart is only a few minutes away but it would be convenient to have these available. The staff are a bit unorganized. There are 2 main restaurants. The steakhouse which has good food and is listed as business casual but don’t worry, it is not adhered to. The copper whisk has breakfast which reminds me of the free breakfasts at holiday inn but this is not free and is considered buffet and around $18/person. The staff are very friendly and accommodating but the meal is not worth the price for a breakfast. Overall I rated this casino average. It was low key and nothing to write home about.

Average place, clean, small bathroom, staff was nice, elevators were tricky as cleaning staff jammed them up several times a day. We were there for a multi-day event and stayed in the Stardust tower; 1/4 mile walk inside from tower to event center, casino, & food court. Lousy coffee at the Dunkin, very watered down, but was the only place to get coffee in the morning (coffee in room but we didn't try it as others were sleeping). Copper Whisk restaurant was only open on weekends; its breakfast buffet was OK, a bit pricey. Basically had to go off-site to get breakfast. Italian Marketplace for lunch had pizza, sandwiches, soup. We had pizza by the slice, nice variety, mostly thin crust, crispy when heated. There was an Asian restaurant, and a steakhouse open for dinner. Parking was free and easy. Area of town was on the high-end side; fast food wasn't abundant. Our fav place for lunch & dinner was the fantastic Fitzwater Station, about 20 minutes away. King of Prussia Mall was really nice, expensive stores like Tiffany, Tesla, Choo, Louboutin, etc. About a 45 minute drive into Philly. Visited the fabulous Art Museum, and interesting Mutter Museum.

Three night stay for a duplicate bridge event on site. Our room was large with big windows on the top floor of the Casino Tower. Large walk in shower. Keurig coffee in the room. Well lit. Comfortable bed.
I didn't like the casino because it reeked of cigarette smoke. While smoking is not allowed, this is not enforced. Ashtrays are all around.
The staff is very friendly.
Daily housekeeping is not provided unless one requests it before 11 AM. They did not tell me about this at check in.
The pool is adequate but when I arrived an hour before closing the towel shack and bar were already closed down. Also, too many children were in the pool. I got the sense that many families stay there as a compromise for having a pool for the kids and a casino for the adults.

This is our first stay at the hotel and even though it was comped (free)- it will be our last.
The room itself was nice and we were so excited for our Halloween night stay!
During times of COVID-19, housekeeping needs to do be mindful and make sure the rooms are cleaned properly. We woke up the following day to find BLOOD on my husbands side of the bed. This was obviously from whoever was in the room before. Not only that but there was also a huge cigarette burn on the comforter (our room was nonsmoking). We were disgusted that we checked out early and didn’t even gamble the 2nd day.
As an added bonus- people left their kids unattended while they went gambling and children were running up and down the hallways (which reeked of weed), pounding on walls and jumping on beds at 8am. Seriously???

We spent a long weekend in the Philadelphia area and chose to stay on the outskirts of the city. We chose the Valley Forge Casino Hotel and would go back tomorrow. Our room was above the Casino but we heard no noise at all. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was huge with a nice walk in shower and good water pressure. We had a nice TV and fridge as well. We met James upon arriving and this gentleman should win Hospitality’s greatest award to be had. He accompanied us to our room, showed us around the area of the hotel we were staying and asked us to check the room over and see if it was satisfactory. He found us more pillows and asked us to call him any time. There is no automatic housekeeping so you need to contact the front desk before
11 am each day if you need this done. We went with not bothering house keeping because we had enough towels for a long time! We called once for garbage removal after having take out from the Noodle Place. The food was magnificent and wasn’t a lot, so some people complain about the quantity. I like quality and this fit the bill. I got beef with garlic sauce and broccoli. (the beef was so tender.) They have other little restaurants all around inside as well. We didn’t even get to the pool or the other tower to see their lobby. We aren’t gamblers and the casino floor itself was a bit smoky so we just cut thru. Best part of the Hotel Experience? When James met us in the beginning and said, “Welcome Home!”

We checked in on Friday on the Stardust Hotel side Room 914. For the OES Seminar Weekend. The room was dirty, carpets needed to be cleaned and sanitized. More outlets for devices. Lamps old and painting off at the touch. Television in disrepair. Updates of amenities and services and the rooms definitely need to be updated and cleaned for the price and the money our organization drops twice a year.
The banquet cooks need to fired for the bad food that was served. All in all it was a horrible visit, we will have to see if we will be back.

This hotel is just yucky. We stayed for 2 nights because it was our college son’s family weekend nearby & we figured it would be a little different. It’s so old, ugly & outdated. The room was clean but the vanity lights didn’t work, the mattress was sunken & lumpy, the shower had no water pressure, & you couldn’t adjust the thermostat to make the room cooler & it was so hot we couldn’t sleep. There was no housekeeping at all. I’m so tired of hotels saying they have eliminated housekeeping to be environmentally friendly, when it’s really because they’re just trying to cut corners & give you less for your money. If I’m paying $200 a night, give me dry towels. Meanwhile the toilet in our room ran nonstop for the entire 3 days, so please don’t virtue-signal to me about caring for the environment.
We couldn’t stand the casino for more than 20 minutes because the smoke smell was so bad. The only food we bought at the hotel was coffee from the Dunkin’ Donuts in the food court & even THAT was undrinkable, much weaker than usual Dunkin’ coffee. I recommend staying away from this place altogether.

Hi,
1. There’s no signage to let anyone know that the desk is always closed and sending people to check in at the casino instead - this created a very very long and annoying walk after an exhausting day of travel.
2. There was no signage in the stall area of the Womens bathroom in the lobby of the abandoned hotel area when the floor was washed to say wet floor, and I fell. I told staff and they didn’t seem very concerned.
3. The room itself was warm, stuffy, and smelled weird, like it had been closed up in hot weather with no ventilation. Musty.
4. The bathtub didn’t drain. I ended my shower in ‘deeper than high ankle’ water both days. There was also white caulking stuck to the shower head. It was easy for me to peel off, so that tells me it sat on there because no one bothered to clean the shower head for who knows how long.
5. There’s no signage on how to get to your room, or where the rooms are, and no map for the rooms or how to get around to the casino and back. The brochure they give you at checkin is missing a lot of detail.
6. Cleaning knocked on and *opened* our room door at 9:30a & 10:50a. Regular checkout is at 11 & We had late checkout at noon. There was no reason to open our door that early.
7. The bed was hard/too firm & there were no extra blankets in the room at all. They’ll only deliver extra in limited hours and I wasn’t in the hotel in the middle of the day because there was no reason to be - there to see the sights not sit in a hotel room
8. All of the amenities were closed and the website doesn’t mention any of that - like room service.
9. The doors don’t open and the windows are filthy. I should have been able to enjoy an awesome view of the valley forge area in early fall colors with fog settled on it, but I couldn’t take a photo because the door wall window was so dirty.
I alerted your customer service team already, but based on their response I felt a public review was needed.

This used to be my favorite casino in PA. Now it is my least favorite: 1. Great, small venue for concerts but never have anybody good. Last concert I saw here was Eddie Money last year; 2. Used to enjoy the free overnite stays and blackjack in an empty casino, but they no longer will accept my ESA dog, so that takes care of that; 3. Room service is negligible, if non-existent; 4. Only one good restaurant that is very pricey; 5. used to win decent slot jackpots...now payoffs are few and far between; 6. impossible to win at blackjack anymore. It's as if they have removed face cards. Also, all the side bets, money counting, dealer card shuffling, etc. make for a 2-hour shoe. Not worth the drive, money, time or effort.

Honestly, I was nervous based on some of the reviews, but there was no reason for me to be worried at all. Everything from the room to the casino to the food were all perfectly fine. I was in the area for a conference and chose to stay here since I'm a fan of the Boyd properties in Downtown Las Vegas. I booked a standard room but was surprised with an upgrade to a mini suite that had a living area, the bedroom, and the bathroom. I was in the Casino Tower. The hotel does have an odd design with some rooms being interior only - meaning they don't have windows. I think if I were to have received one of those I would have asked for a different room, but luckily I wasn't. The casino isn't huge, but it's big enough to have a few dozen table games and hundreds of slots. There is also bar top video poker where the drinks come fast and furious. There were some reviews that mentioned the smokiness -- and yes, there are lots of folks smoking, so if that bothers you, just a heads up. I walked around the property and they're getting the pool area ready for the summer and that looked like a lot of fun. I would consider bringing my family here for a few nights to take advantage of some of the Valley Forge historical locations as well as hang out by the pool. The food court was open and the food was good. Dunkin' was ready to go in the morning when I needed to grab a cup of coffee before I headed out to my conference. All in all, I was very happy with my stay here and I would return.
