Detailed Reviews
Our stay here was exceptional. The facilities are comfortable and there is plenty of space to relax. The location is very close to the lifts and village which makes this a very convenient and enjoyable stay. The rooms are sufficient and well thought out with many hanging hooks to accommodate our gear which is very useful in the limited space. We used the adult TV room, the family lounging area and the dining room and they are great areas. The food is very good and being able to just enjoy being catered for all throughout the day was priceless. Left more time to relax and enjoy being in the snow. The bathrooms were dated but are being renovated. We will be back!

Thank you Julie! We really appreciate you taking the time to post a review and we're glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back soon - summer & autumn are also great times to visit and the mountain looks so much different when the snow has melted, with all the flora and fauna around.

We spent 4 days with two teenage boys and their mountain bikes at the end of the summer season (April). We have previously ski'd at Perisher but stayed in Jindabyne. I'm so glad this time I chose to stay at Boali which is in the heart of Thredbo village and literally a 1 minute bike ride to the Kosciuszko chairlift. The lodge is like a home away from home with a huge and comfortable lounge room with gas fire. We were full board and we were blown away by the meals - restaurant quality and plentiful including fruit, snacks, tea, coffee etc. My husband has specific eating needs following a stroke and Nick the Chef and Alistair could not have been more helpful and attentive. Highly personalised service and everyday they would check in to see if the boys wanted a take-away lunch and giving them extra portions (they ate at the children's dinner sitting but are big 14 year old boys). Whilst it's not a cheap holiday it's definitely excellent value for money and we can't wait to go back next season.

We had a group of 24 staying for 5 nights with 4 days of bushwalking. We all found Boali Lodge a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean and well organised, communication was excellent and the food was beyond our expectations. Gianni, the chef, and his wife Kym made amazing breakfasts, lunches and dinners and were very accommodating with all of our queries. Belinda in the office was great with her communication with us while organising our trip. Everyone totally enjoyed their stay. Thank you to Gianni, Kym and Belinda.

When we booked, we thought we were staying at a high-end guest house / ski lodge; Boali Lodge is more than this. Our room was immaculately presented. We were provided with a cooked breakfast, packed lunch and two course supper, all of which were delicious. The Lodge is managed by Toby and his partner Susie; they are an engaging pair who made our visit memorable. Thank you.

Great location and great facilities for our group of 26. Exclusive use of the facilities made team meetings and gatherings SO much easier and we would definitely stay here again. The staff were extremely helpful in the lead up to and during the booking process. The food was fabulous and the location perfect, within walking distance of all activities.

We [a family of 5] stayed for two nights and had a great time. Centrally located and 2 minutes walk from the chairlift. The hotel doesn't have much parking but they encourage double parking and have a notice board at entry - so everyone can put their contact details. Big games room for the kids and a very comfy well equipped lounge for adults. Rooms are the biggest but no problems as they're clean and well equipped - but beds were too soft for me! Food was excellent, set menu but steak first night and fish the second. Staff were top, very cheerful and always asking how our day had been. Overall, a superb place to stay with everything you could want to enjoy Thredbo and the surrounding area.

There was nothing lacking at all at this lodge - it was perfect in every respect. Toby and Susie made us really welcome and advised us perfectly on where to walk and visit to get the most out of our 3-day stay which was so important for us when we’re here from the UK. The meals were absolutely delicious, the room so comfortable and clean and it was so relaxing. Thank you Toby and Susie for everything!

Great hosts, terrific food and views from the lounge were wonderful. We were delighted with our stay and would certainly recommend this spot in summer and winter. And when my friend broke her wrist everything was done to help make her comfortable!
