This was a solo trip with my wife staying home 6hrs north. I unfortunately had to cancel my booking the morning of the intended stay after my wife had an accident and broke her leg. I literally rang the motel straight after speaking to 1 of the attending ambos who confirmed leg broken in 2 places. I understand the cancellation policy but was hoping for a little compassion under the circumstances. The booking had been made via Qantas using points and Qantas contacted the motel on my behalf to try to cancel the charge. However the motel refused to co-operate

Hi George thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are very sorry for the incident that your wife had. We have cancellation policies in place for reasons to ensure that we don't lose revenue from avoidable vacancies. You booked in for 2 nights through an online booking agency. We were within our rights to charge for both nights stay as per our cancellation policies however we only charged you for the first nights stay. We were unable to fill your room for either night as it was such short notice for a cancellation. Again we are sorry that this incident has occurred.

Room exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room, kitchenette,separate bedroom, comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and motel is in perfect position.we will certainly be back. Rooms are fully air conditioned.

We stayed overnight here on the way to Victoria and so that we could pop in to visit some relatives. The place was packed and car parking was tight. We spent a comfortable night and have no complaints. The room was older but well maintained and the bathroom had been refurbished within the past few years. The ‘hot’ water was just warm and both my wife and I didn’t need to use any cold water to shower. The bed was comfortable and the extra pillows and blanket were appreciated.

Great place to stay whilst in Junee. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant meals were delectable. Walking distance from the Train Station, Chocolate Factory, Roundhouse Museum, and many more.

This motel in Junee was lovely and clean and was situated near the town centre. We had a disabled suite with 2 king single beds and they were comfortable. It was also very reasonably priced compared to other places we had been on our trip.

One of the best motels I’ve ever stayed at. Could not fault it.large clean room. Comfortable bed. Nice host. Close to everything. Will always stay there when in area.Very nice town with great history to explore and see. Lovely old buildings etc.

Decided to take a trip to Junee and wanted to stay at a nice motel. We were very disappointed. I had paid for a 'deluxe" room, as the recliner chairs were going to be such a treat after a day exploring. I even sent an email to make sure there were recliners in the deluxe room - why only put 1 recliner in the room, when you have booked for 2 people!!! Maybe we should have taken turns sitting on it. There was no other lounge type seat in the room. The bed was very hard and the position of the air conditioner made it so you could not have it on all night - as your head froze! Yes, I did try and change the position of the louvers, but that did nothing. I did ask if we were given the right room as I booked the room with the recliners and I was told that only 1 room had the 2 chairs in it - why didn't I get that room - or even better, buy another chair. I also found it very nosy. Junee was a lovely place to visit, just not this motel!…

I have found The Crossing Motel to be clean, comfortable and within walking distance to town – there is a nearby IGA store and across the road, local pub ‘Commercial Hotel’. Excellent place to rest. The town is clean, nice and quiet and the staff are super friendly and very accommodating. We only stayed there for two nights, as we wanted to visit ‘Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory’; ‘The Junee Roundhouse Museum’; and ‘Monte Cristo Homestead’. All achievable in one day… and short travel distance. Monte Cristo Homestead is literally around the corner! You could easily walk to these places, provided that you are fit and healthy or drive, which takes approximately 3 to 4 minutes… the choice is yours! The room offers air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave, kitchenette, television, bathroom and bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash – located on the wall dispenser in the shower and body lotion). The family suite was cosy but the comforts were all there, including free wi-fi and free parking. There is a restaurant ‘Roundhouse Restaurant’ within the motel, which we had breakfast there… highly recommend the place. On-site swimming pool, opened from 8am to 8pm, looks clean and well maintained. They do offer laundry service but due to our short stay, we didn’t get to use this facility. An excellent place to rest and a convenient place to stay when visiting Junee. For country motel, I can honestly say that it ticks all the boxes and was above my expectations, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. If I have to be honest, the only negative experience I have had, was our neighbour… the walls aren’t well insulated and the snoring was unbearable, so glad that they left the following day. I would highly recommend this place and definitely stay at The Crossing Motel, should I visit Junee again.…

Booked direct by phone which was very easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy walking distance to town and short drive to the chocolate factory. Would stay again if visiting June.

This motel has been updated, has super friendly and accommodating hosts, a great dining experience and an electric car charger on site. Our room was comfortable and warm. The eating choices in Junee limited in the evening to the local hotels or our motels dining room. Our food was great, the service efficient and friendly. The bonus was discovering two Tesla car charges that fitted our Hyundai Kona and we were able to recharge and leave the next day with a full battery. What a bonus!
