Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What We Found Travelling wrote a review Apr 2021

We spent 8 nights here & found it cosy but perfect. We stayed in Room 3 & it is a small room, with a seperate bathroom & balcony, most importantly it felt neat, clean & tidy. If you need a bit more space maybe book room 4 which is a little larger or Room 5 which is in a seperate building. Rooms 1 & 2 are very similar to Room 3 in size.
The property has 5 Rooms which all have balconies facing the hinterland & Lennox Head, just wonderful views. Certainly very peaceful.
The service afforded to us by the housekeeper Dan was second to none. Thanks for completing the finishing touches on our extended stay. Our dishes were cleaned & towels replaced before we knew it. The Easter bunny even left us a large cherry ripe egg & box of Guylian chocolates.
The location is great as its 10 minutes to Byron or Bangalow.
Oh... & I nearly forgot, they allowed us to bring our small 15 y.o Tibetan Spaniel & she absolutely loved the place.

This place is charming, clean and so relaxing. The view does wonders for the soul and reconnecting you. The drive into town didn't take long and it was no problem getting Ubers fro the evening. Look forward to coming back sometime. Hopefully some privacy in the bathroom will be fixed by then. Needs some curtains or blinds.

Stayed here two nights whilst holidaying in Byron Bay and am so pleased I chose this hotel. Our host, Craig, could not have been more helpful, even phoning us before we arrived to make sure we had the right directions. The hotel is in a beautiful location tucked away in the hills just behind Byron Bay, yet it is only less than 10 minutes drive into the town centre. Our room had a great view overlooking the countryside leading down to the bay with a balcony where you can sit and enjoy your complimentary bottle of red wine. The room was very nicely furnished and the four-poster bed was comfortable. The best part of the stay for me however was the 5 star breakfast that we received both mornings. Fruit, muesli, yoghurt and orange juice was waiting for us on the decking when we arrived and once we had sat down we were offered tea/coffee and a big cooked country breakfast. We had a very leisurely morning as we read the paper whilst overlooking the views from the decking and didn't really want to have to leave and start our day! So if you're heading to Byron avoid the standard town centre hotels and give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

We stayed at Coopers Shoot Guesthouse at the weekend. The rooms are clean and cosy and have the most stunning view over the Byron hinterland down to the coast. Craig and Suzie were very friendly and helpful, giving lots of tips to us Sydneysiders on coastal walks, bars, etc. Breakfast was good quality and substantial - lots of fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, coffee, toast...

At 5-10 minutes drive out of Byron town centre, it's charming and relaxing.I would highly recommend it as an alternative to staying in Byron itself. Check it out.
