Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Clean and homely cottage with amazing views. We stayed for 3 nights - 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 5) - and we all loved looking after the animals with Farmer Trevor - he is very kind and interesting to chat to about all aspects of farming.
The pool was lovely too - although next time we will try to stay when the water has warmed up a bit more!
Thank you Beth and Trevor.

Fully equipped, but no fuss cottage with comfortable beds, great views and farm experience with cows, goats, lambs and chooks. Trevor offered the children the opportunity to get close to the animals. It was a very enjoyable weekend.

We just had four days here and it was fantastic. My four year old had the best time with Farmer Trev and is very sad he can't help with all the animals now we're home. Trev was very patient with my excitable son and happy to share his knowledge of farm life with my husband and I.

We stayed in Rodney's cottage which was perfect for our small family. Plenty of blankets and heaters were provided but not needed as we had great weather during our stay.

My son enjoyed exploring the grounds and spent quite a bit of time playing in the sand pit, which has amazing views of the valley too.

I can certainly understand why they have so many repeat bookings. One word if advice though, Coopers Shoot Rd is much better maintained if you come in from Byron/Ballina end. We originally came in from Bangalow/Knockrow end and it's narrow and potholed, definitely recommend avoiding that half at night.

Beautiful outlook across the valley to Byron bay, our cottage overlooking the pool and paddocks beyond was very cosy and family friendly.
Lovely people who were more than accommodating to make you feel right at home, we were very impressed with our cottage and its cute country features.
Thoughtfully our pantry was stocked with fresh bred, milk and condiments with a well appointed kitchen for the longer stay.
I would definitely recommend for a city break, especially suited to those travelling with kids. They will love it.

We stayed in the cottage pictured which overlooks the pool and paddocks beyond. Wrap around veranda and sundeck, undercover car parking close by, the pool was beautiful.

This place was truly fabulous in every way. The cottage was perfect for a family of 5 with full sized cot, high chair & gates at each end of the deck.
The views are to die for & farmer Trevor & Beth are so welcoming & friendly. The children loved them both!
Trevor would ring the bell at 8am & 4pm daily for the children to participate in farm activities which they thoroughly enjoyed & learned a great deal from.
Location is perfect - between Byron bay & Bangalow. We were lucky enough to stay when the Bangalow market was on & this was awesome.
Staying in late August we packed plenty of winter clothes but didn't need them - it was beautiful & sunny 25 degrees every day.
Totally understand why people fall in love with this part of Australia - we have!
Will most definitely be back to stay at Murojum Farm again.

With amazing views, quiet (still only a few minutes drive to either Byron or Bangalow), this was the perfect weekend break for us and our 18-month old. The cottage was spacious, very comfortable, and had everything we needed to self cater. The owners were very thoughtful in including a basket of toys (which kept our boy busy) and the fresh chook eggs supplied by Farmer Trev were a delicious bonus! We especially enjoyed having a chat with our hosts and getting to know them. We'll be back for sure.

We stayed here for just two nights with our 2 boys aged 5 and 8. The cottage was comfortable and immaculately clean. There was lots to do and the boys tried milking, collected eggs and petted a newborn baby lamb. Also on offer is a swimming pool and sandpit. The weather was glorious and we loved the beautiful views to the sea. The Deane family is very welcoming and friendly and shared their knowledge of the farm animals and the local area with us. it was a safe place to let the boys roam around and get muddy! We all really enjoyed spending time here and hope to come back again soon.

Good location. Not overly remote but sufficiently quiet. Very hospitable farmer.wife and son. The only farm I know that comes with a swimming pool! Unfortunately too cold to swim in winter. Nice spacious cottage with well equipped kitchen. Got the chance to milk a cow. Two boys love the place.

Certainly didn't expect such warm hospitality from the owners as we were just looking for a nice cosy place for farmstay. Spend time with the owners and I'm sure they will share their stories about the farm, the animals and their kids with you. Was definitely an eye-opener for me! Missing the beautiful view we have from our cottage already :)

We were living overseas during our first holiday to Morojum Farm in 2007 but this is special place and we knew we'd be back. In fact 4 times so far with the kids and also with friends from abroad. From the owners genuinely warm hospitality to the practical cosiness of the accommodation in a unique setting with the option to experience farmyard activities, at Morojum Farm we immediately feel relaxed. Remarkably all this is only minutes from Byron's beautiful beaches, coffee shops and restaurants...if you need them.
