Stayed at the Beachcomber for a couple of days whilst in Byron with my Son. The resort is located only a short walk from the main street and plenty of Cafe's and Restaurants & has direct access via only a short stroll to the Beach. The Rooms are well equipped, however if you're not staying 8 days or longer the rooms are not serviced every day. Or at all during your stay. Nice heated pool which was nice in September, and the Spa was sooooo hot it was nearly unbearable, however nice and relaxing once you got use to it. We had to leave a day earlier than planned and Andrew the Manager could not have been more understanding and accommodating. He actually gave us a credit for our last night without us asking. Wonderful Service! Highly recommended.

Felt comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. First time in Byron Bay and we will be back. Very clean rooms and as new bathroom and furniture. Room a great size. With a courtyard. Iron ,clothes rack ,kettle toaster and fridge in room.beach access just remember to take your room key to the beach as you need it to open the gate to come back in. A short walk over the train tracks and a 5 minute walk your on the beach. Turn right and a 15 minute walk into town. Or you can walk to town from the front turning left. Aldi a short walk. Book in advance to all the pubs and cafes. With covid our lives have changed and we had trouble getting in during school holidays. Enjoy your stay and say hi to Andrew

Check in was efficient but welcome was lacking.
Great location, 6 minute walk to cafes, restaurants and shopping in the main street, further 2 minutes to main beach.
Pleasant pool area, though on the small side, good hot spa.
Secure undercover parking.
On the downside, lots of noise from other rooms - the doors bang loudly when closed and could hear what people in next room were saying. Light from hotel next door shining into room entire night, bright light in hallway kept on all night and shone under door (should be dimmed after 10pm). Room was dark and damp, no privacy when curtain opened due to hotel next door. No water pressure in shower made it almost impossible to wash hair or properly rinse off soap. Rooms are only serviced every 8 days. Only one set of towels provided. Notice said free laundry downstairs but we grabbed fresh towels off a trolley in the hall and placed wet towels in a basket near the pool. Think other guests did same. Floor in room wasn't clean. I swept every day - going under chairs and tables - so much dust and other bits of rubbish. No sharp knife in cutlery drawer. Rubbish bin had a bad odour. At $360 per night was very over priced but demand is there as wasn't much else left in Byron at time of booking.

Room 6B ground floor with small balcony/courtyard and no view. Other rooms in this complex had large balcony with view.
Room worked well - everything worked. Cutlery and crockery/ glasses for a couple.
Spacious except for the courtyard. Attractively presented.
Good pool and BBQ area.
Apartment living without daily room make-up, do your own rubbish removal and recycling. Also do your own towel changes with fresh room towels and pool towels readily available. Likewise tea, coffee and biscuits available in foyer along with bottled water and sunscreen.
Location is 7-10 minutes walk from town and restaurants.
Excellent undercover parking and street parking is limited …maybe just outside the metered parking.
Beach access is directly outside back door but current coastal erosion hinders access to beach. Better to take the 10 minute walk to town beach or use the pool.
Great place to stay in Byron!

Byron Beachcomber was the perfect place for me to spend 10 nights in Byron while on holiday and attending a wedding in the hinterland. Andrew and Jacinta were very welcoming and cheerfully answered all my questions and helped me organise tours while I was there. My room was clean and spacious, the bed was super comfortable. It is only a short walk to the town along a well lit main road and I felt safe walking alone at night back after meeting up with friends and family from the wedding at one of the many fabulous restaurants in Byron. It was a bonus that the Skybus from the Gold Coast stopped right outside. I definitely recommend Byron Beachcomber and intend staying there on my next visit.

Stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip and loved it. Our room was a generous size and the bed was super comfortable. Staff are extremely friendly and also provide free water bottles to guests. Reception is not 24 hours, but they have an easy checkout system where you just drop the key off in the box located either in the secure underground carpark or near reception.
Location is the best part. A short walk to the main strip of shops and the beach. I’d definitely stay here again!

I loved this little gem in Byron Bay. Family-run budget holiday apartments, this place was one of the highlights of the trip due to free on-site laundry. Much needed after 2 weeks on the road. It's a quick walk into town and very well-situated. I'd skip the dinky pool and just head right out the back gate to the beach, which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel property. I would definitely stay here again if passing through Byron Bay.

Perfect location and great little resort! Staff very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious, modern and clean. Great little outdoor patio area off the room. Resort has a pool and large bbq area at the back. We didn’t get a chance to utilise the private walkway to the beach but we will next time. After our day travelling to Byron and arriving early we were allowed to check into our room an hour early which was immensely appreciated in the heat. We will definitely be back to stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling through Byron! Also the underground car park included in the stay was great to leave your car to avoid paid parking in town with an elevator to take you up to your level in the resort with all your bags.

We stayed here for two nights when visiting Byron Bay and would highly recommend recommend this hotel.
Our rooms were enormous with a balcony and kitchen lounge area, aircon in all rooms and tv in lounge and bedroom.
The rooms are very clean and well maintained, the outside area is also clean and maintained (not sure why some reviews suggest otherwise)
The hotel has a large underground car park which you can continue to use once checked out along with shower facilities should you need them after check out.
Great location just a short walk from the shops and restaurants .

For the price we really weren’t expecting such a pleasant, clean, spacious and well appointed apartment. So close to the beach with secret direct access. Short stroll into town. Staff and management went over and above to help with all enquires even lending us their own personal stroller for my toddler. Pool area was quiet and our ground floor apt was so easily accessible with a baby. Loved our stay and can’t wait to come again.
