I've been visiting here on and off since the late 1980's and I always love to come back. For me, the best part is the peace and serenity given by the fact this facility is on a country road vs. a noisy thoroughfare in town. I very much prefer the faint sound of horseshoes in the night over the thumping and blasting of endless trucks storming down Route 30 around the clock. And now that I have small children, the lack of insane traffic is even better for me. The boys love the grassy playground in back and can spend hours just climbing and swinging. The staff is always friendly and helpful and make their best effort to accommodate those types of demanding people who need to be waited on every minute. The only time I needed help was when I arrived to check in after 4:00 PM. I called the prominently-displayed phone number which was immediately answered by a real person who was affiliated with the motel, who guided me through the key-access process expertly. With small children I visit the area one or two times a year and we return in the spring we will once again stay with Harvest Drive.

Clean, quiet room "off the beaten path." Room was clean. Realize that everyone, including employees, management, is stressed out because of COVID-19, but we were made to feel as if we should apologize for bothering them with our business. Also, would have been nice to be able to contact someone "in charge" after 4 p.m.

Harvest Drive Family Inn never disappoints. We’ve stayed several times and have never had a complaint. The staff is always friendly and available, should you need them. Rooms are quaint and always clean. Love how laid back and quiet the street is, most of the time. Always enjoy the farm views. Will continue to stay here on our trips to Lancaster Co.

Booked a Thursday - Sunday, clerk acted like we were an inconvenience when asked for the free coffee on arrival....told us coffee was in the rooms. She was correct - coffee/cups WERE in the room, but there wasn't a COFFEE POT to make it in. Went back to the office, asked for a pot, it was delivered but so dirty, she should have been embarrassed to offer it. Room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time, with a chunk of something under the table that looked like it had been there a while. We had stayed there several times in the last decade knowing to bring a room deodorizer - rooms are very dated. Good call - it was very necessary. Surprising to see the parking lot almost empty on Friday morning. Returning at 2:00pm we were surprised that the room hadn't been made up. Housekeeping was in the next block of rooms, five doors from our room. We left for our Friday evening event and were pretty shocked when we returned to find our room hadn't been touched. At this point, we were the only car in the complex. Huh, wonder why? I placed a call to the Inn on Saturday morning, left a message asking them to return my call. They didn't. When we returned on Saturday early evening, the bed covers had been pulled up, towels replaced but the floors had NOT been vacuumed. We picked up our bags, returned our keys in the drop box and left. WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND WILL ADVISE YOU TO NEVER STAY THERE EITHER. There are plenty of small places to stay in the area.

Hi Gloria, I am very sorry to hear this. We are not currently servicing rooms due to the virus and that is why your bed was not made. The virus is also why the parking lot was empty. This pandemic has changed the world. I am very sorry about the carpet needing vacuumed and the missing coffee pot. I will address these issues with the housekeeper. As you know this is not an ongoing issue here at Spruce Lane. You have been staying with us forever and we do not want to lose you as a repeat guest. We hope that you will change your mind :) Again please accept our sincere apology and we hope to see you again in the near future.
