Right next to the station and all amenities are close by, so it is busy and can be noisy, but not too bad. The welcome at the 24 hour reception was warm and we were pleased with the room. We booked a Super Room, and was good value for money, with kettle/tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a Lavazza machine. All sockets had USB chargers and there was hairdryer and iron/ironing board in the room. £9:25 for all-you-can-eat (and drink) breakfast was available next to the reception and hit the spot. The same area was a bar in the evening with restaurant. We didn’t try that, but good to know it was an option. The hotel was clean, comfortable, with a perfect location. We will definitely return.
Stayed here with two other couples for our annual weekend away in or around London. We’ve stayed here before and had quite a bad experience with out of control partygoers until ridiculous time in the morning and frankly were quite hesitant about rebooking. This time, everything just worked well, we were actually in rooms next to our previous visit on the ground floor next to the station. The rooms were clean, well maintained and everything you’d expect from a travelodge. No disturbances, quiet despite the proximity to the station, breakfast was top notch and overall well worth the money.
Heating didn’t work. Toilet stained. Bathroom fixtures stained. Kettle filled with limescale and mould!! Towels hadn’t been changed. Beds are like sleeping on concrete.. The staff could do with learning how to crack a smile at least, minimal customer service, arrogant attitude left you feeling like you shouldn’t approach or disturb them
Great location so close to the stadium was ideal for me and my colleague. The receptionists were professional and friendly thank you for being so accommodating (kevin) and it was clean. Everything we needed. Would stay again for sure.
Stayed for 2 nights £30 for night before rugby and £175 for night of match. Be prepared for lots of train noise, rooms small but convenient. Room did not get cleaned during our stay, friendly check in staff and easy to access location. I wouldn’t rush back but did what it said on the tim at an expensive price.
