Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After reading the reviews was absolutely dreading it, but it really wasn't as bad. had rooms 122 and 123 upstairs facing the road . met by two lovely boys very polite , they explained they couldnt check us in but someone would be there in 5 mins, a nice young lady arrived within the 5 mins and checked us in no issues.
Rooms. very clean, TBH have stayed in far dirtier premier inns .Bed was band new and super comfy . Rooms small but functional. blinds in our room need replacing as they have curled over the years so we hung towels over the window to black it out . big flat screen telly , kettle tea and coffee makings . Yes there is a dog, a rather lovely huge american bull dog i think , she is pregnant but no sign of the aggression people have mentioned on here ! very sweet girl. yes the surroundings are neglected and yes there is rubbish and bin bags and bedding etc hanging around but we where not sleeping outside we just wanted a bed to sleep in for a family event so where out most of the weekend and just slept and got ready in our rooms, I can honesty say i have paid far more to stay in far worse/dirtier places . if your just after a clean room for the night at a very reasonable price it fits the bill . the shower had great power plenty of hot water . think the websites need updating as there is no hair dryer or 24 hour concierge service as advertised . ITs clearly being slowly done up as we had new carpet and flooring in our room, as i said just needs the blinds replacing.

OK so the outside area needs a tidy but you don't sleep in the car park.
We had 2 double rooms and both were nicely decorated and clean.
They are clearly doing the place up so it's a work in progress but our rooms were absolutely fine.
This is budget accommodation so if you're expecting 5 star it's not for you.
Check in was a little delayed as the owner had popped out but we were late arriving so I wouldn't expect someone to sit waiting.
Rooms are large and have been updated.
Great hot shower and towels nice and white.
Only down side was one of the rooms had vertical blinds that didn't quite close so could see in.
All in all you get a good night sleep and a hot shower.
Exactly what we paid for.
We were dreading it from other reviews so maybe they stayed in rooms that hadn't been updated yet.
We would stay again so if you're in need of budget and don't worry about the state of carpark this place is for you.

Would not normally stay in this type of hotel but options were limited in Redditch. American style motel and very budget. Restaurant is closed as renovating and there is nothing close by other than MacDonalds. Staff were friendly and I had no issues at all. My room was clean and comfortable and I had a good night sleep. Not sure it feels the safest place and if a single woman I am not sure this would be a choice but I had no issues and as a budget motel it was fine.

We arrived for a weekend break, there was a miss-communication with the amount of days we booked (they thought 1 night when we paid for 2).

The room wasn't clean, water residue on the shower screen and various pubic hairs of a varity of colours, lengths and textures scattered around the bathroom. The shower screen had no seal so the floor became sodden. We used the towels they supplied to soak up (luckily we took our own). The shower head was held on by zipp ties, which then fell off anyway because of the pressure and the sink didn't hold water.

The food we ordered was shocking, burnt fish that looked like it had been fried too many times, the curry was greasy with an added large chicken bone which luckily I hadn't choked on.

This is not a hotel. They have council homeless people staying who cause noise and disturbances all night and heckle female guests. When I arrived a couple arrived, checked in and checked straight back out. LOOK UNDER THE BEDS. This is the most unhygienic place I've ever had the displeasure of staying. Leaving the room after dark is not an option. I was asked ifni wanted to party by young men who refused to let me access my room. No staff and security after 8pm. The hotel never responded to my complaint till this day and I have called several times to say I will be called back. They will not refund under any circumstances so please do not waste your money. This place is run down and filthy and not safe for women or families. The pictures are very old. Mattress was ripped, carpets not vacuumed, dry dead skin on the carpet, hairs all over bathroom, dust everywhere, faulty electrics. Walls are paper thin and it was obvious the room door had been kicked in at some point. Please do not risk staying here. Bad hotel and worse management. They do not care for guest care or safety and I've never seen anything so filthy. If there were other hotels available I town I would have left but stated scared in my room while other guests partied outside smoking all night. Not safe.

We only stayed for one night . We were told about the issue with hot water but was also told that this would resolved by the following morning. And guess what still no water in morning. My friends refused to stay in the first room that they were offered after checking bed and mattress. I dared not to check mine too closely as knew nowhere else available to stay. In morning my husband had to look for his shoe and the amount of rubbish under bed was incredible. Why the cleaning staff don't look under beds instead choosing to just vacuum what can be seen. I know that management said there in middle of refurbishment but probably need to stop trading until all the works completed . Definitely wouldn't stay again and I have stayed in many budget hotels in the past

Stayed at this hotel for just one night on the way down to Silverstone and its comfortably the worst "hotel" I have ever seen. This starts in the car park with a number of cars parked across two spaces, very odd and clearly nothing done about this by the hotel. We arrived late and on checking in was asked "can we have your registration so I can make sure your car isn't keyed" I filled in the form on a table that also contained a court summons - I assume for the individual I was speaking to. We wanted a couple of dinks from the bar to take to the room and the "under refurbishment" restaurant/bar was an incredible sight with a man asleep on a sofa with a dog and people generally lying around. This was around 10.30 and too late to go elsewhere. The room was as bad as expected and I wouldn't describe this place as a hotel at all. The blinds don't shut so people can see into your room, its dirty and poorly maintained, the lights and electrics are dodgy and generally you would not want to spend a minute in there. The entire place stinks of weed. The night only got worse with the alarm being set off - by a resident smoking, which happens often we were told - and the hotel manager ringing my partner to ask if we had checked in yet at 12am??.
Having tried to get to sleep we were woken by an individually knocking on the door then trying the lock in an effort to get in. Thankfully they disappeared when i got up. I have read some of the reviews on here and agree this place isn't safe to stay and we couldn't wait to leave. We were up and out of this hell hole by 6am the next day.
I could go on but hopefully you get the point.

Avoid. Booked and paid for 3 nights in this so called inn. Returned on 2nd morning as working nights nearby when couldn't get into room. Day manager explains the housekeeping detectives had decided I'd left as there were no personal belongings in the room. So they'd given my room to someone else!! Nice touch!! Shambolic. Housekeeping would have done better to have removed the previous occupants hairs from the bathroom instead of playing Miss Marple. Rooms are tired and gypsy dogs are allowed despite what brochure says.

Read the other reviews, it’s all true unfortunately.. or fortunately if you like that kind of thing 😉

The outside reminded me of the crossroads motel, not the one from the British soap staring Noele Gorden, the one from Breaking bad where Wendy plied her trade.

Once you are inside, having been let in by a nice lady from reception (because the key cards don’t work, or are missing or something.. they will let you in 24x7, just knock on room 10! Inside is ok, a bit cold, but it isn’t dead of winter so you won’t freeze to death. It all looks ok if you squint a bit, the bathroom is good if you prefer cold water to hot. Facilities, the TV worked, if you don’t mind your UHT milk sachets a few weeks out of date (if you would dare to use that kettle) you can make a drink.
Other reviewers have mentioned dirt, smells, noise and weird goings on, so I don’t have to.

Oh dear where to start…..? I was checked in quite a rude man in a dirty looking reception area, the bar and restaurant were closed with no explanation why. Even the pen holder looked dirty. Outside on the car park there is a 32ft long caravan surrounded by all sorts of junk. Next to that it looks like a mr whippy icecream truck has been dumped there. To the room and outside the window is an overflowing ashtray greeting you. On shutting the door there is quite a large gap at the bottom. The new flooring looks nice in both rooms however it wasn’t so clean. The skirting board was dirty and dusty. Coffee tea and sugar were provided however there was no milk. The spout on the kettle was dirty and leaked over the bench-whilst pouring hot water into the cup. Onto the bed and it’s been moved, only 1 lamp and one bedside table. The mattress on the bed was thin and provided little comfort. The tv was great and the bathroom was pretty good but the tiles are painted and the large ones can mirror was damaged around the edges. Locked out my room at about 1am it took me about I hour to raise the alarm. There was also a dog on site howling and barking all evening. I have to say the young lady who let me into my room was great and friendly so thank you, she’s an asset to the place. It saddens me to see it run down and into the gutter like this. With some serious investment this could all be sorted out. I think they should have some new furniture, better beds, with a feature wall that is papered. Some art on the walls would look great. And new bedside lamps would be great. It could be a lot better than it is that’s for sure and it could be a good place again.

OMG, are you serious? I'm watching the same programme. The responses to what are obviously legitimate complaints on TripAdvisor are disgusting. There are far better options available in Redditch for similar cost if not cheaper. (Premier Inn anyone?)

There are ground floor rooms that would probably suit, and the end near reception isn't far. Best give them a ring to discuss requirements, they are really friendly and helpful there
