Detailed Reviews
Stayed 2 days before 14.20 flight home from Birmingham. House is being renovated, bed is very comfortable, room is large, hot water is plentiful, its quiet, its in the country. What more could you want, with very large and tasty breakfasts. Kim and Roger are great hosts, who go out of their way to please and help. What more would I want, another stay!!
And the local restaurants and villages are a short drive and worth the visit. Took an hour to the airport via Kims directions.

My friend and I stayed here as we were going to a concert at Weston Arboretum, Kim was such a welcoming host, we arrived and she upgraded us to a room with a private bathroom which was great.
Breakfast was lovely, Kim extended her breakfast times so that we didnt have to rush or worry as it was a late night. The views crom the room were amazing.
I would defiantly be staying here again. I would 100% recommend it to anyone who want a quiet break in the countryside.

This Bed and Breakfast is outstanding.
My Fiancee and I were thoroughly pleased with the property, the decor, the location, the food and the lovely couple running it.
I would also recommend their pottery class, it's really quite fun.. don't miss it.

You are guaranteed a warm welcome at this peaceful bed and breakfast set in the middle of the Cotswolds. The owners Roger and Kim welcomed us with tea and coffee and gave us information about the local area in the front sitting room which has a beautiful wood burner and was nice and toasty on cold days.
Location:
The surround views from the house are absolutely beautiful if you like wildlife and countryside. The dirt road outside is very quiet and it main commuters are walkers and cyclists. The nearest villages and towns within are Sherston (4 minutes), Malmesbury (10 minutes) and Tetbury (14 minutes).
Room:
We were in Troika on the top floor of the house. The views were amazing. There was a table and chairs by the window where you can sit and have a nice tea in the morning and enjoy the views. The bed was big and comfortable and the room was enormous and very spacious which was a huge plus. The room was really cleanliness and has all the small comforts like tea, coffee, kettle, biscuits, soft towels, comfortable bed and chairs.
Breakfast:
Fabulous locally sourced breakfasts with beautiful views of the Cotswolds from the dining room.
Pottery:
There is also an on sit pottery which you can learn how to make pottery or paint an already made item. There is also a little shop in the pottery where you can buy some handmade pottery.
Garden:
The garden is really beautiful and has lots of flowers, trees and lovely views at the back of the house. There is a farm next door which breeds milking cows and they are always out in the field behind the house in the morning. The owners also have a really nice dog called River who is super friendly.
Nearby Villages and Towns:
Sherston, Malmesbury, Tetbury, Chippenham, Cirencester, Stroud are all within 5 – 20 minutes’ drive from the house.
Nearby Attractions:
Whatley Manor – Afternoon Tea, £23.50 per person - amazing grounds and delightful afternoon tea. I would highly recommend this.
Highgrove Gardens – 2 Hour Guided Tour £24.50 per person really interesting if you want to know more about the flora and fauna in the gardens and history of Highgrove.
Westonbirt Arboretum – really interesting if you like trees, it has over 15,000 specimens from all over the globe. They also have events here but there weren’t any when we visited.
Calcot Manor Spa – Half Day Spa, £110.00 per person which included 55 minutes treatment, lunch, drinks and use of facilities. I would highly recommend this.
Lacock – Village is very quaint and has been used as a film set for Harry Potter and other films. I bought several pairs of beautiful handmade porcelain earrings from Lacock Pottery. I would highly recommend this.
Food:
Winstones Ice Cream in Stroud – delicious I would recommend the Honey and Ginger or the Butterscotch Chip.
The Butts Farm Shop and Tearoom – we stopped here to buy some local jams and chutneys and had a nice cup of tea in the farmyard tearoom. They also have a farm where you can pet the animals.

Thanks again to Kim, Rog, River, Darcie and the tiny hooligans - looked after us all so well and it was very much appreciated - weather for Westonbirt was a bit iffy but Kim made sure we were all OK and went out of her way to help us. Good luck to you all until the next time - xxx

A beautiful B&B in the peaceful countryside - a short drive or walk to Malmesbury and Sherston Villages. Loads of lovely walks to do - Kim gave me some maps of walking trails which was fantastic. A truly restful weekend - would highly reccomend!

Delightful place that offers great views from the window. We were on top floor and watched the 'Cadbury's cows' go for a stroll in the morning. Apart from the comfortable rooms, the best part of the house is her host Kim. We arrived after a long drive and were looking to have a meal somewhere, Kim offered to drive us to Malmesbury to the restaurant and then picked us up and drove us back! One could not feel more welcomed by the host, who also noticed we brought wine with us and brought us wine glasses to the room. What a super-star!! So if you wish to switch off and fell like at home while away from home, this is the place to be. And yet you are a stone throw from Westonbirt Arboretum, Tetbury, Highgrove and other lovely little places in Cotswolds.

We stayed here for one night and left with mixed feelings: the welcoming of Kim was very warm, the room was huge and the breakfast was OK.
On the other hand we have to say that the room was not really clean (various cobwebs) and in the bathroom a dirty showermat.

Kim, Rog, River and Darcie were lovely hosts who couldn't have done more for us. Lovely spot in the country side; a really friendly and peaceful experience. Many Thanks all and the very best of luck in the future. The ROKI mugs are already in use. Thanks again for all your hard work.

I booked all 3 rooms at Greyfox B&B for myself, my bridesmaids, my mum and sister for the evening before my wedding which was at a nearby venue. Kim was absolutely fantastic and we could not have asked for a more accommodating, helpful and friendly host. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds incredibly comfy so we all had a good night's sleep. The surroundings are beautiful and the view from the breakfast room incredible. We were all treated to a delicious breakfast and Kim went out of her way to ensure all of our needs were catered for. We could not have asked for anything more and were all so grateful for such a relaxing, peaceful stay. Thank you!
