We were only going to be at a hotel for 12 hours, so I didn't want to pay a bunch of money. This place was just ok, but you get what you pay for. I spilled water and wiped it up with a washcloth. The floors are hardwood and the washcloth was filthy when I picked it up. The motel smelled of smoke even though the whole building is "smoke-free". There's only coffee available in the morning, but lots of restaurants nearby. We only paid $80 because I had a 10% coupon for Orbitz.com
Definitely not worth it. The room was dirty, there were stains on the furniture and the bathroom sink was a mess. The room had a moldy odor. Owner was not very nice . Might be better served at another place.
This is a good choice, convenient to Lancaster and the Miller's Smorgasbord Restaurant, as well as the great Route 30 Diner! The hotel is clean, the room was clean, sheets/towels etc . . . all very good. The Maxwell House coffee maker, single cup machine or carafe located in the lobby, was always ready & good for an early AM cup of coffee. No breakfast, but with the Route 30 Diner minutes away, not a problem. Staff very friendly and responsive. I would recommend not booking a room on the 2nd floor that ends with an even number (possibly the first floor, too, don't know) because the neighboring property is a mess and was loud with music one night. Terrible view so kept the curtains drawn all the time & the window closed. Otherwise it's a great place to stay for the price.
Hotel isn't bad as far as looks, could use updating. Towels had black spots on them along with long black hairs. The sheet had stains on it. Not a well kept hotel as far as cleanliness. Bathroom counter with tan colored stuff on it. Would definitely recommend going somewhere else.
This was our first stay near the Lancaster area. It was a quick last minute decision to travel to this area over Labour Day weekend. So hotel choices were slim pickings! We did not plan to spend much time in the room but due to rain and my husbands dislike of shopping we were forced inside. TV was good, the room was clean, the wifi was sketchy at best. We were told it didn't work because of the rain. There was no toiletries in the room so a quick trip to a Target solved that. No breakfast of any kind, just coffee in the lobby, no machines in the room. Very quiet overnight, which was expected as you are on the outskirts of town . If you are looking for basics, a bed, shower and TV then this is your place!
