I am very glad that I decided to stay just a little bit outside of the City of Philadelphia during my visit to the Keystone State, as the service and people at this facility were absolutely wonderful!
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a young lady, named Tyra, who had an absolutely contagious smile, and was happy to upgrade me to a suite. I believe she must’ve taken pity on me after a very long travel day but, as mentioned, her smile immediately made you feel at home upon arrival..
Over the next couple of days, I would meet other colleagues of hers that were equally wonderful. Hermes, seems to never leave the front desk, yet he greets everyone that walks through the door with a smile and a happy attitude that really sets the tone for any trip that you may be taking. The property is incredibly well-maintained and the housekeeping staff is completely attentive to detail, and seem to be constantly busy attending to windows and floors, even when everything seems to be spotless as it is.
In Hermes’ shadow, Kevin was always there at the front desk to assist with anything else that may be needed to guess we’re checking in and, once again, always had a smile. I would so very highly recommend this property to anybody that is traveling to the Philadelphia area and may not want to stay downtown. this area felt very safe and welcoming and the staff at the Holiday Inn express should be commended for their absolute commitment to customer service and hospitality.

Hi, actually this hotel was very clean no need to worry about covid it’s completely safe .
My one and only dissatisfaction was there is no hand wash u have to bring if u want.
if possible plz keep the hand wash each room .
Breakfast we can’t take we have tell what we want they will give you
Room cleaning : they give you cleaned and sanitized room. once u check in they won’t clean until you check out if you want towels or lotion anything there is one separate place you can get over there .

We booked this hotel for shopping at King of Prussia and Philadelphia Prime Outlet at Limerick after a day in Philadelphia. It's a great location for both Philadelphia tour and those shopping area. Very clean throughout the hotel and staffs at morning breakfast were nice and very efficient. The line was a bit long as we had to "order" the food one family at a time so we couldn't have anything extra that we had missed at the first time. I think they could modify the breakfast "distribution" a little bit so that they could shorten the long line. For example, they could at least do the morning coffee in a different line or location. It is silly to get in a long line for a cup of morning coffee. Other than that, everything was PERFECT.

We live locally, but due to a neighborhood power outage from the storm 7/21 we were staying at the hotel. We arrived late at about almost 10 PM 7/22. I had been looking at a number of different hotels and had apparently misremembered the check out time was 11am (I thought it was 12pm), but was shocked that someone was knocking on the door shortly after 11 for us to leave (meanwhile, I had just gotten a late checkout for 12pm). We got there so late the night before that we didn’t have a chance to use the pool so we were going to use the pool area before leaving. Pool opened about 20 minutes late at about 11:20 AM, and I set up my laptop to do a work zoom while the kids took a swim. We had been out there for less than an hour when the staff came out and asked us to leave since we weren’t guests, interrupting my work meeting. There was 1 other person in the pool area, so not at all busy. The staff person was very aware that we were there because of a lack of power at our house, and could’ve shown a bit of consideration. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and resorts across the country and I’ve never, ever, been told that we could not use the pool immediately before check-in if our room wasn’t ready or immediately after check out. It was extremely rude and inconsiderate, and I would never recommend that hotel to any friends that come into the area to stay nearby. I wish I had gotten the name of the staff member who treated us that way. He could certainly use some customer service retraining.

The hotel was very nice and modern. We enjoyed the outdoor pool on a hot day. It was very nice and not too crowded.
We liked that the hotel offered coffee 24/7 and we could purchase other drinks by charging to the room.
The second night was a little noisier because of a huge group of kids staying at the hotel for a dance event or something.
Breakfast many items were empty. Not much in healthy options. A couple oranges. What they had did taste good.
I left a credit card on file at checkin. I knew they were putting a $50 hold but then over the 2 days we were there a bunch of other random charges and credits showed up on my card. Six transactions over $200, I have no idea what for. I’ll call tomorrow if they don’t clear off my card.
Housekeeping never came to our room. Not sure if this is normal? No clean towels, trash not emptied, beds not made… never had this happen at a holiday inn before. I know they don’t always leave clean towels but they literally didn’t do anything during our 2 days there.
Overall a pleasant experience. Only minor inconveniences.

Overall, this is a fine hotel to stay in. We were 3 adults/3 kids in a suite - we needed the extra space. Room pleasant and clean, beds comfortable. We stayed here because we wanted a suite with pool access plus free breakfast. We appreciated the availability of almond milk. Mini fridge is nice size for a mini fridge. The biggest thing is that the service could be improved: our shower was out of shower gel and conditioner when we arrived, and we needed an extra blanket for the pullout couch, and both times we called the front desk about it, we were told to come down and get it ourselves, rather than it being kindly brought to the room. Pool is large. If your room faces the pool, you can kind of hear the train pass at night. Breakfast was okay, could be improved somewhat by replenishing faster or adding more fruit. The night before we checked out, staff said they would let us check out at 12pm for late checkout (which isn't that late), but the next morning there was no record of this and told us there was no late check out. Guests in the pool were on the rowdy side for several days. Laundry services okay: $2.50 each for washer and dryer. Front desk will make change for you. Fitness room okay - two treadmills, two precors, rowing machine. Bathtub drain became mysteriously clogged before we left.

Most hotel rooms have little lights all over that make it hard for a light sleeper to get any rest. Whoever designed this room did a great job! The night light in the bathroom is dim enough to not disturb sleepers, but bright enough to be seen. The little red light on the TV is easily blocked by the no smoking sign. The clock light is not garishly bright. The fire alarm flashing light is not red, so it can not be seen with your eyes shut. The microwave is placed low enough so that the light isn't seen while you are in bed.
The only issue I have is that the toilet paper rolls are placed way too far from the toilet seat. A short person will have a very hard time reaching the rolls while seated on the toilet.
Many don't want to place their luggage on the floor. This room had a large desk and a bench where luggage could be placed. Three large drawers as well.
The chair for the desk is adjustable for height. 3 cheers for the room designer!
How anyone can complain about the breakfast is beyond me. Two pancake machines, two juice areas, and the best hotel breakfast selection I think I have ever seen. Boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, fruit, pastry, yogurt, potatoes, and more. Extremely clean and lots of space to eat.
There is a railway line behind the hotel. I could hear the trains every few hours for about 15 seconds. It is not very loud and only those who are extreme light sleepers would be disturbed.
In short, I loved my stay here.

Our experience at the Holiday Inn Fort Washington was an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. Our family was planning a wedding and needed a hotel for out of town guests. I met with the Sales & Marketing Coordinator who was very professional and experienced. We talked about our need for a block of suites/rooms for our guests which was setup and communicated to our guests on the wedding website. The suites/rooms were clean and comfortable as was the lobby and entire facility. The entire staff at the hotel was so welcoming and accomdating. Besides the block of rooms we also planned an after party at the hotel. They reserved a meeting room for us which was perfect! Our guests enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning which was well attended by other guests at the hotel but the staff was diligent in refilling chafing dishes with fresh hot food and there was plenty of seating for everyone to sit and enjoy their breakfast. Another bonus for our guests free parking. A good time was had by all and we appreciate the very important part the staff at the Holiday Inn played in making that happen. We would definitely stay again at the Holiday Inn Express Fort Washington.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a few days. The hotel is located in a quiet area close to I-476. Check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly. Our room on the sixth floor was very clean and roomy. There was a microwave along with a small refrigerator, all in working order. The room was quiet. I did not hear any noise from outside or voices in the hallway. We were told that the maids would pick up towels and garbage each day unless we asked them not to. When we needed anything, all we had to do was call the front desk and more towels were sent up very quickly.
The morning breakfast offerings were impressive. There were pancakes, omlettes, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, and various breakfast meats, along with cereals, bagels, croissants, muffins, and oatmeal. Some of the offerings changed daily. The workers kept the pans full and the tables clean.
I highly recommend this hotel. I will stay here again if I'm in the area.

We were looking for a hotel with complimentary breakfast and parking as well as a pool. After looking at several hotels in the area we were shocked to see some of the reviews! Thankfully, we found this Holiday Inn Express in Ft. Washington.
We booked a stay for a two queen suite from Thursday 7/11 into Friday 7/12 for $140 through agoda. The hotel was clean, there were complimentary snacks, water, and coffee that greeted us as we checked in. Hermes, living up to his greek namesake, checked us in quickly after telling us about all of the amenities. We were also grateful that we were given a room on the top floor which overlooked the trees and railroad nearby - my boys, who were attending, love railroads. At check out, Hermes was also patient with my son when we were returning our keys, and Hermes even offered for my son to keep one as a souvenir.
Finally, the breakfast on Friday (7/12) morning was well stocked and Jose kept the eating area clean. Jose was quick to stop me from cleaning up our table (even after our boys had made a bit of a mess). I appreciated his service.
All of this for $140 we WELL worth the value. We didn't even get to use the pool!

Yes, all room included hair dryers and irons. Hair dryer contained in a material bag hung in bathroom.
We all drove and are unfamiliar with the transit system. Recommend contacting the hotel, as staff extremely helpful.
