I stopped over on my way to Pittsburgh. It was a last minute stay so the price was important. People working there had their masks on so I felt good about that. The room was thoroughly cleaned which was important to me with covid.
The guy at the front burst into my room while me and my wife was naked and didn’t want to give a refund after and had the worst excuse ever had to pack and drove back home to New York in the night because of the pervert attendant
The absolute worst experience I have ever experienced! The place was filthy. Nothing worked. Blood on the top of the blow drier, as if someone was beat over the head. At 4AM we heard water running. The water was running out of the bathroom ceiling fan. When we tried to call the front desk, the phone didnt work. We went to the front desk, only to find out the lady beneath us has water leaking, as well. When we got back to the room, everything from the ceiling was leaking. Light fixtures, fire, sprinklers, and fire detectors. He moved us to another suite that was dirtier than the 1st one. Best part is, he charged us anyways. Sickening. Repulsed!!! I will never trust another Wyndamm, again.
I booked a 4 night stay with the hotel for work. The night clerk at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The issue is that the first room they sent me to had someone already in the room who was doing drugs. Mind you I work in Law Enforcement so imagine a cop trying to enter your room when you are getting high??? Gave them another chance and the second room they sent me to had hair, other unknown substances on the floor, and had a foul odor. It’s almost as if this room was never cleaned and they merely made the bed and sent me to it. I checked out and they told me 3-5 days to get my money unfrozen. I went to a neighboring hotel in the Wyndham network and when I got checked in and parked in the back. The Travelodge had state and local police raiding rooms.
This place looks better in photos than in reality. I had a room closer to the highway and there is some traffic noise but seems to be a relatively safe area. The room was pretty clean but had some minor damage here and there. The bed was large and comfy however the blanket was thin as were the pillows. I could not have the frig and microwave work at the same time so you had to unplug one to use the other. The remote for the tv did not work so I had to manually raise and lower channels or volume after searching for that button. This motel is ok for a brief stay and I chose it for the price but that was even too much. I would stay at one of the more expensive hotels if you want to avoid these issues.
